Extraordinary safari with Tom
We had a wonderful time with our guide, Tom👍🙏
We started in Nairobi, and he drove us safely to the Masai Mara. Since there were five of us, we booked a private safari, and the extra cost was definitely worth it.
The highlight, of course, was the game drive with Tom. He did everything he could to find us the animals we wanted. In the end, we saw the Big Five and had plenty of adventure.
The camp at the entrance to the Masai Mara was okay, but there are apparently better ones.
Camp Marachui was recommended.

I could not have dreamt of a better set-up, it was simply an unforgettable experience!!
Despite travelling solo, I never felt more safe and so well surrounded than what I experienced in this trip!
Jimmy is such an experienced guide, I learnt so much about Mount Kenya, saw its hidden gems!
Not only he is the perfect guide for such tour, our is also a genuine and kind hearted person, always smiling and taking great care of you, ensuring that you will have the best experience ever!!!
Next to this excellent guide, I couldn’t not have managed to reach the summit of Lenana without the great support of 2 of his crew, Eric our backpack carrier and Maron our cook!!
We had amazing food on the way at the different campsites and also in nature, it felt surreal!
This trek a breathtaking, you will see such a variety of landscapes and scenery and will be so proud afterwards to have done it!

Did an amazing job
I did the tour in June with Tom and it was an amazing Trip. From Organisation to the Safari itself, everything was well planned. Tom was always on time and we could rely on him. He always did his best and made sure we have good memories. That’s why we saw all of the Big five (even the leopard). He took risks to make sure we have a good time and always explained everything about the animals, nature and the Masai Mara Organisation.
I highly recommend the tour.

A one in a lifetime experience
In this Vacation trip Tom was our Guide and led us through the Masai Mara park. The fact we were a Family of five was no problem for him. While we drove, he didn‘t only show us the natur and park but also shared fascinating information about them with us and explained everthing. He could answer our Questions easily and did everything which was necessary, for us to have a great experience in this Park. He also took risks so we could see the rare animals and always had a structured plan. In the beginning of the tour he asked our expectations, so what animals we want to see, and in the end he could make all possible. We didn‘t miss anything and the tour couldn‘t have went better. To sum up we were very happy we had Tom, because he ensured that we had a unforgettable trip.

Wonderful experience
My boyfriend and I chose to do a 6-day group safari in Masai Mara National Park, Lake Nakuru, and Amboseli National Park. We had the unique opportunity to see so many animals, such as elephants, lions, giraffes, rhinos, hippos, cheetahs, and more.
As for the organization of the trip, Axis Africa Safari offered us a spectacular experience. Both the planning and the execution of the trip went very smoothly and pleasantly.
I would especially like to thank our wonderful and kind guide we had all these days, Ken. He did everything he could to make our trip more enjoyable and comfortable. I also appreciate that he showed great respect for the animals and nature.
I would recommend both Axis as a travel agency and Ken as your guide if you are considering doing this safari.

Well organized and very attentive

Great experience for good value
I travelled solo and needed a budget option. Everything was great from the beggining. Easy communication, clear information. Considering the entrance to the park is high, the price was very good for everything we got (pick-up, accomodation with food, tickets, explanations about the animals).Our guide was kind and with good energy. Our accomodation was simple, but yet super comfy and clean! A great experience!!

The perfect Masai Mara trip full of wildlife and great guide
First of all before the trip, the communication was great with our tour operator Winnie from Axis Africa. The trip cost was competitive and the overall experience has been incredible. Our tour guide and chauffeur Kevin was knowledgeable, great behind the wheels and a very good human being. He made us all comfortable and showed us the mighty giraffes, lions, buffalos, hippos, zebras and a lot more. The camp was quite good too, specially the food. Facilities were good and I would definitely encourage tourists to take this safari with Axis Africa.

Organised, competitive prices, and clearly very experienced.
Gosh… I’m not sure where to start.
This was the first safari that I’ve been on and I am so glad that I chose Axis safaris. From the start, they were clearly the most competitive when it came to prices for a 6 day safari - which was further complemented by their excellent communication, recommendations, and how they can advise/adapt to your needs as well.
They definitely make sure you’re looked after before your trip, when you arrive, and during the duration of your time on the safari or in Kenya! Big shout out to Tabitha who always answered our questions and delivered an unforgettable experience for my wife and I’s first anniversary.
I could write on and on but I’ll try to summarise. The 6 day safari across Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Amboselli was amazing. Thoroughly loved all 3 places though the visibility at Amboselli of Mount Kilimanjaro was quite limited due to weather but that’s certainly out of the company’s control! I would highly recommend to anyone reading this to book an upgraded stay at all 3 places as it’ll make a big difference in terms of food, showers, and a place to rest after long game drives and travelling.
I’d like to dedicate a special paragraph to our tour guide Peter. We called him Lucky Peter or Passionate Peter because that certainly came across during our whole trip. He always seemed to know the best routes and you can tell he clearly wanted to share his passion and knowledge of animals with the rest of us. We saw unbelievable things such as a Cheetah hunt, lions eating buffalo, lions walking, elephant prides, giraffes and even Craig the famous elephant at Amboselli. It’s quite important to highlight how much a guide can change your experience as many of the groups didn’t see the same things we did after catching up in the hotel restaurants in the evenings. He greatly prides himself in delivering an excellent experience for his group, extremely kind and catering towards our needs, and I’ll genuinely miss him.
