Axis - a fantastic option for your safari
After doing a good amount of research, we decided to book a three day/two night safari with Axis. We were so impressed!! From the very beginning, communication was prompt and efficient regarding booking the trip and figuring out the specific details of everything. Tabitha did a great job emailing with us. And the actual safari was amazing!! It was all very well organized and communicated - no hiccups or misunderstandings. Ali is a fantastic guide who took great care in showing us all the animals, as well as driving us to and back from the Mara and organizing all the details at the camp. He‘s an incredibly hard worker who has lots of experience doing safaris, and he really knew when to sit and wait for something to happen (a cheetah catching a baby gazelle) or when to move on and look for other animals in the area. I would most definitely book again with Axis and request Ali as my guide - 10 out of 5 stars!! :) thank you for the amazing adventure, Ali, Tabitha and the whole team at Axis.

If you want to have a perfect safari, book axis!
We had a great week!!! Our guide Rama always tried to get the best sights for us, tried to let us make wonderful photos! Provided us with information (available in 6 laguages!!! i.e. German) if we wanted, answered each question, seemed just to know where the leopard moves next (to our car😁) and was just as keen on the animals as we were. We had the possibility to choose the program, our guide was very flexible. And if you are flexible, too, it is much easier for to enjoy it at high level!
The tour was very varied, the planning was great and as well as relaxed and exciting. We had one sunrisedrive (depart from the camp at 6am) and some morningdrives (depart at 7 or 8:30). He drove as fast AND secure and as comfortable as possible!
Amboseli was really worth seeing (LOTS of elefants!!), but be aware that you spend nearly 2 days in the car travelling (one there, one back).

Pleasant experience
We choose 5-day safari tour to Masai Mara, Nakuru and Naivasha and 2-day safari tour to Amboseli park. Our guide was Ken, he is very good as driver and as guide, he did the best for us. Our car was Land Cruiser 4*4 for our group of 4 person. It was very comfortable for us. This company took us the lowest price for these tours with budget accommodation.
Great, reliable tour operator!
Before the safari, Tabitha was very communicative on WhatsApp, answering any questions and concerns. I went on the 3 day safari to Maasai Mara with the guide, Raymond. As a solo traveler, I was paired with 3 additional solo travelers and 2 couples. All from different countries, we had a great time, driving back and forth between Nairobi and Maasai Mara, and doing the safari. Raymond was extremely knowledgeable about the park and the animals. A guide for 15 years, Raymond’s appreciation for the wildlife is very apparent. He went above and beyond to make sure we would see animals we were looking for. The tour was well organized and ran smoothly. The campsite I stayed at felt safe and secure, and they attempted to fix any issues that arose with things like hot water and electricity for different guests. But also, in the middle of rural Kenya, do not expect everything to be perfect. The weather and some things like that are just difficult! We were very muddy on our first day and dusty on our second. My group found things to laugh about through any unexpected circumstance, because everyone was able to go with the flow - something important for this experience. So expect your clothes to be dusty or muddy, expect the roads to be rough, but most of all expect to have the best time!

Amazing experience all around and fantastic guide !!
Our trip went great with Axis. Our driver James Gichina was simply amazing during the whole trip. Always on time, great driving and most importantly quick to locate the animals and give us the best angles to take photos… Very friendly and knowledgeable about the reserve too!!
Camp was very simple but effective with comfy beds and welcoming hosts. We had a fantastic time ,)

Incredible experience with Axis and James Gichina
This was my first safari and it will be hard to top this experience going forward!
The booking and registration was super smooth thanks to Monica from Axis. We stayed at Sankale Camp, very basic yet it had everything we needed, staff was kind and helpful.
The best part of our trip was of course the game drives, which couldn't have gone better thanks to our expert driver James Gichina. He made sure to always get as close as possible to the animals, giving us the best angles and shots. He was consistently reactive and shared many facts about the reserve and the wildlife. We had a great time with him.

Awesome safari experience
Axis' organisation was top notch and everything went very smoothly.
We had a great time on safari with our guide, Sempele, who was knowledgeable, accommodating and engaging. He also put us in pole position to see two different cheetah kills - which were an absolute wonder to behold in real life.
I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the car every day.

During the safari, our guide Francis was simply outstanding. His knowledge of the wildlife and the park was impressive, and he went above and beyond to make sure we saw as many animals as possible. He knew exactly where to take us for the best sightings and made the journey fun and engaging with his friendly personality.
