Went on this tour with my family, the service was very smooth and our tour guide John Mwangi was very reliable, always on time, was very fun to be around, and took us on a great adventure. Some trips give you photographs. Some give you stories. And then there are trips that give you moments you know you’ll carry with you forever.
Our Kenya journey with Axis Safari was exactly that.
From the vast landscapes of Masai Mara to the beauty of Nakuru and Naivasha, we witnessed wildlife in its most extraordinary form — raw, untamed and completely on its own terms. Every game drive brought a new surprise, and every sighting reminded us how incredible it is to experience nature this close.
But what truly made the trip special were the people behind it.
A very special shoutout to Yasin, our big brother, who was with us throughout the journey. More than just an experienced guide, he became our companion through the trip. He made sure we were comfortable, looked after every little requirement and, most importantly, made us feel at home. His knowledge, patience and passion for the wild made every game drive that much more memorable. Beyond a traditional guide he helped us with the day to day affairs & ensured we have the best if times.
And then there was Patrick — our guide for a one-day private safari in Masai Mara. Choosing to do that private tour was probably one of the best decisions we made. Patrick took us deep into the core of Masai Mara, knew exactly where to look and somehow managed to help us witness the Big Five in a single day. An unforgettable experience, made even better by his expertise and enthusiasm.
A big thank you to Winnie as well, who patiently answered all our questions before and during the trip. No matter how many queries we had, she was always there with a response and made the entire planning process incredibly smooth. She was ever available & helped us curating this itinerary so well.

An Amazing Safari Experience with a Wonderful Guide
From the very beginning, our guide was very attentive, caring, and friendly. He explained everything we were going to do and was always open to making changes, which made him very flexible and easy to work with.
During the Masai Mara safari, I especially appreciated the way he treated the animals. He showed them a lot of respect, giving them their time and space. Thank you for that, Yashin.
The agency is definitely one you can trust. For me, travelling with them was a very good value for money and a great choice. The service we received at the hotels was also very good, and everything was well organised.
Finally, our guide was such a funny and entertaining person, which made my trip here even more wonderful. I’m very grateful for the experience and would definitely recommend this agency to other travellers!

Magical experience
It was a fantastic experience, with every detail taken care of—meals, transportation, and park visits. We chose the six-day safari, visiting Masai Mara, Nakuru, and Amboseli. Living so close to the animals' habitats, watching them eat and sleep, was enchanting; a journey that connects you with nature. A special tribute to Rodgers, our guide, who was always kind, skillful in explaining all the curiosities, and astute in helping us enjoy every experience to the fullest.
