It’s the most beautiful experience of my life
We had an amazing safari experience in Kenya! Our guide was professional, friendly, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife and the parks. He always knew the best places to spot animals and made every moment of the safari exciting and memorable.
We felt safe and well taken care of throughout the whole trip. His passion for wildlife and Kenya really made the experience even more special.
Thank you so much Charles Sharuq for making our safari unforgettable! We highly recommend him to anyone planning a safari in Masai Mara

Axis Safari: great guide, amazing trip, minor non-satisfied point cost one star.
We joined a safari with Axis Safari for 7 days.
Our guide, Rogers, was professional and experienced. He picked up us on time at the agreed locations and time every day and helped us complete the itinerary as planned.
During the safari, Rogers explained animal habits and characteristics. Most importantly, he was an expert at finding animals. He always spotted key animals in places we could not see and helped us find the best angles for photos and observation.
Thanks to Rogers’s professional ability, we quickly found all of the Big Five in the Masai Mara and saw wonderful scenes such as lion prides playing, a leopard walking, and giraffes eating leaves around our vehicle.
In Nakuru, we saw flocks of flamingos and rhinos at sunset.
In Naivasha, on the Island, we had close encounters with giraffes and many other animals and even walked among them.
In Amboseli, we saw elephants walking beneath Mount Kilimanjaro and lion cubs walking with their mother.
It was truly a complete and wonderful trip.
However, there were a few areas that affected the experience, which is why I am giving four stars rather than five:
1. On our first day in Amboseli, the full-day safari ran from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We missed the only morning window that day to see Mount Kilimanjaro for that day, and the safari ended before sunset, we also missed the good views potential in sunset. I understand the reason might be the next morning will start very early and last time was arrived late. However this arrangement was not fully communicated to us, otherwise we would choose to stay 1 hours more to see the sunset or start earlier instead of 1 hours rest to have had better views. The first day of Amboseli safari only included elephants, lions, and some birds before ending early. Fortunately, the excellent second morning in Amboseli made up for the disappointment.
2. We chose a shared-group itinerary, and group members may stay at different hotels. This usually does not have a big impact, but one day the drive from a fellow traveler’s hotel back to ours took over an hour because of traffic, which seriously affected our rest time. According to Google Maps, the congestion could have been avoided by taking another road.
3. Rogers was professional and detailed when explaining things, but during safari routes or other transfers he spoke less, or talked with the trainee sitting next to him. More details and small stories would have made the experience even better.
4. The Hell’s Gate cycling experience on the second morning in Naivasha was very poor. Although the travel agency included the entrance ticket, we were charged extra for bicycle rental, bicycle entry, the walking, and guide tips. The experience was cycling 16 km on a dusty and sandy road, plus additional walking, which left us exhausted. We saw some interesting sights along the way, such as a canyon and rock walls with special echoes, but these were far from worth the physical exhaustion and repeated extra costs of tens of dollars.
Of course, these four issues only affected certain parts of the trip. Overall, this was undoubtedly an unforgettable and excellent safari. Rogers was an outstanding guide, and Axis Safari’s itinerary covered the main highlights. if the above 4 points could be improved, It would be rated more than five stars. I would recommend it to all travelers who want to see animals, but I suggest confirming the daily schedule and extra costs in advance. And adjust some detailed plan like Hell’s Gate.
Such a personal and friendly guide, worked very hard for us to see everything we wanted

Ken Ngamie was determined to make our dreams come true
Ken asked us regularly what animals and sights we wanted to see! He interacted with us regularly making sure we were enjoying the tour, and was very fun with his jokes.
We were provided with an Amazing lunch, and there was always water available to us.
We left on time, and Ken made sure to get us an up close picture. Would say it was definitely worth the price we paid!

Friendly, respectful, fun and great at his job!
I had a great time on this safari! We got to see 4 out of 5 of the big 5 animals. We also saw some very cool action moments with lions! Our driver, Ken Ngamie, was determined to show us everything we wanted to see.

Friendly,Highly cost-effective and unforgettable Safari
The service at Axis Office was excellent, with our contact responding promptly. We chose the mid-budget tour, which was a worthwhile upgrade—staying for two days at campsites similar to those in the mid-range category, but offering better hot water and food. The 4x4 vehicle provided by Axis was noticeably newer and more spacious compared to other vehicles we saw on the road, greatly enhancing our safari experience. Our guide, Raymond, was diligent, professional, and friendly. Although he wasn't very talkative, he always started early and on time each day, and excelled at spotting wildlife. On one occasion, he was the first to spot a leopard and called over several other vehicles. He led us to witness many exciting animal encounters, including leopards, lions, vultures, hyenas, and various feeding scenes—an absolutely thrilling safari. The only thing I'm not completely satisfied with is that on the day to Amboseli, we 2 changed vehicles and guides, and ended up sharing a 4*4 from another company. The vehicle had more passengers with 7 and was older and more crowded. Overall I will choose Axis again for next Kanya Safari.

Excellent safari and reliable operator
Everything went as planned!
The team communicated with us reliably.
The proposed itinerary made sense, and we enjoyed it a lot.
The car was in an excellent state and clean.
They provided a very big amount of bottled water so it should not be a worry.
The selection of places to stay at are good, the entry level is surprisingly comfortable.
A special shout out to our guide Jumbe : great personality, patient, professional,
Really knows his way around the parks and he puts in the extra effort to make you see everything that is possible.
