Excellent guide and wonderful staffs
We were very happy with our guide from the Axis Africa Safaris, Dennis Wmangi.
Dennis is a very friendly guide, also knowledgeable, always happy to answer all our questions, while at the same time maintaining a very respectful and comfortable boundary with his guests.
He was always punctual—every morning, by the time we arrived the car, he was already there, and the vehicle was spotless and well organised: drinking water and even our slippers were already placed neatly by our seats.
What impressed us most was his experience and extraordinary ability to read wildlife. He could often anticipate where an animal was likely to move and position the vehicle in exactly the right place before anything happened. His eyesight was remarkable as well. On one occasion, while we were driving, he spotted a rhino on a hillside roughly 1–2 km away—something we would never have noticed ourselves. He immediately drove us there and alerted other guides so they could find it too.
His driving skills were equally impressive. Whether navigating the rough, uneven tracks inside the parks or busy highways in the countryside, he always drove efficiently while keeping us safe and comfortable.
We couldn’t have asked for a better guide for our first African safari. His professionalism, knowledge, attention to detail, and genuineness made the experience truly special.
We would happily recommend him to anyone planning a safari in Kenya!

A value for money experience.
My emperors with Axis Africa was very good. Our guide, Robert, was knowledgeable about the animals we saw and I learned a lot. He was friendly and had a good sense of humour, bringing levity to various moments. We saw all of the big five and the vehicles was positioned for optimum viewing. I highly recommend this tour and Robert as a guide.

The best of the best!
I spent 3 nights in the Masai Mara after my Nairobi adventure, also with Axis Africa. Patrick was my guide for my safari game drives. He was so amazing! I am a young solo traveler & had a private safari- but I felt so safe and in good hands. Patrick really knows his way round the national park and can spot animals from miles away. He took me up so close while respecting the animals and gave me the best experience. He organised packed breakfasts and lunches, set up a table in the park where it was safe and he even went to the lengths of taking me to all the elephant sightings after finding out it was my favourite animal. It was a dream come true. He always said if I’m happy, he is happy, and stopped for animals whenever I wanted to as well as checking it’s ok to keep driving. Couldn’t recommend Patrick enough! I saw the big 5 twice and so many animals.

Kind, communicative and with a sharp eye (he spotted all the animals).
We had an amazing safari experience. We were able to see many different animals. Our guide Dan was great and shared lots of interesting information about the animals. The lodge was also beautiful and exceeded our expectations. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and considering everything that was included, the tour was very reasonably priced.

Enthusastic
The experience was great. The tour guide was especially good. He was kind and seemed to be enjoying seeing the animals as much as we do. He was telling us things about them and commenting on their behaviour which I found very nice. He also spotted EVERYTHING. There was more than a few cases where we wouldn't have seen an animal if it weren't for him quickly pointing it out. He was also in general warm and even helped us out by driving us to the airport so we could collect delayed baggage.
The car was good as far as safari cars go. It was relatively comfortable and everything seemed well maintained.
The lodge they booked for us was also amazing. Everything from the food to the gift shop was fantastic.
Overall a great experience I would definetly recommend.

Caring tourists through adventure
Our trip to Kenya was an amazing and unforgettable experience! From breathtaking landscapes and beautiful wildlife to the warm hospitality of the people, every moment was special.

An Unforgettable Safari Adventure with Andrew from Axia Safaris — An Experience We’ll Never Forget
We booked a 9-day private safari with Axis Safaris, and from the very beginning, everything was incredibly easy and well organized.
Already during the booking process, Tabitha from the office was fantastic. She responded very quickly to all our questions, suggestions, and requests for changes. Thanks to her great communication and flexibility, our entire safari was planned and finalized within a very short time.
Our safari guide, Andrew, picked us up right on time and accompanied us safely throughout our entire journey. We visited the Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli National Park, and Tsavo East and Tsavo West.
One of the absolute highlights was our hot-air balloon flight over the Masai Mara. Seeing the incredible landscape and wildlife from above was a truly magical experience and something we will remember for a very long time.
Andrew was an amazing guide. He explained everything to us in great detail, always took the time to answer our questions, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy the wildlife and take photos. His knowledge, patience, and friendly personality made the experience even more special. He truly made sure that we had an unforgettable safari.
When you consider everything that is included in the price, the experience is also incredibly good value for money. We were honestly impressed by how much we got to experience during these nine days.
Now, we are looking forward to spending a few relaxing days in Mombasa and reflecting on this incredible adventure.

A once-in-a-lifetime trip that stays with you for a lifetime.
From the very beginning, planning the trip was an absolute breeze. We wanted a private safari tailored to our wishes, and the team made everything super easy and fast. Tabitha and the rest of the Team were wonderfully responsive, listened closely to what we wanted, and accommodated our every request before we even set off.
Once on the road, everything ran just as smoothly. Our guide, Andrew, was a standout—he knows the parks inside and out, and his patience and sharp eyes helped us spot so many incredible animals up close. Beyond his tracking skills, he was just a warm, wonderful companion who made us feel safe and well looked after every single day.

Perfect
They were very friendly right from the start; Tabitha answered all my questions via WhatsApp and provided all the information possible. Our driver-guide, Rogerts, and his assistant, Bryan, were the best—they went out of their way to help us spot the "Big Five" and many other animals. They were very attentive, and even though the tour was in English, everything was perfectly clear. Good hotels, good food, and a great safari group. Everything was exactly as described. Many thanks to Axis for making our dream in Kenya come true.
