Game reserve Experience
We hired It Started in Africa for a game reserve experience for us and our daughter, just a couple of weeks ago.
We had a fantastic experience, with a good vehicle, knowledgeable driver and also some luck with the game drives as we saw the big5 multiple times.
They arranged the transport and the reservations. It all went off flawlessly! We highly recommend It Started in Africa as a travel agent and tour arranger!

Amazing Safari with It Started in Africa!!
We had an amazing Kenyan safari with ISIA back in October 2014, just got round to posting now! Patricia was very helpful in arranging the itinerary (and changing it many times as we requested!) and Alex was without a doubt one of the best tour guides and drivers we've ever come across on any tour, anywhere!
We would highly recommend the Rhino Lodge in Tsavo National Park, amazing place and we were lucky enough to spot a leopard! During the safari we also saw the falls in Thompson Park, the wildlife at Naivasha and Lake Nakuru plus Masai Mara, and spent several days at the beach in Mombasa. Thanks to Alex our tour guide we were able to get up close to lions, hyenas, rhinos, cheetahs, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and many more! Amazing safari all round, and looking forward to visiting again! Will definitely be booking through ISIA again - amazing value for money and no complaints! (On a general note, please ensure any US Dollars you carry when visiting Kenya are series 2000 or later, as the older ones were not always accepted for exchange we found). Thanks again to Patricia and Alex!

I choose It started in Africa from here and all my comminication is via email. The comminication betwwen Joao is clear and I get what I pay for. They meet me in the airport. All the places that I visit were very nice and memorable. My guide Martin and cook Roman are very kind and professional. You can go to a safari without hesitation with It started in Africa.

Great company
We organized our visit to a Masai village near Nairobi with It Started in Africa. Emails were quick and informative. Transfers upon arrival went smooth, guide Moses was very nice and enthusiastic. The vehicle as in excellent condition and the masai village was only for us, non-touristic out of the beaten track experience. Definitely a special experience and the tour operator made it all possible for us with minimal effort on our side.

100% recommend
We stayed a week on safari with them and it was all perfect. I hired by email and answer at the time. 100% recommend they arranged an extension of six days to zanzibar with all transfers and hotel and it was spectacular.

The itinerary seems to have been well devised and all was on schedule. The 3 lodges you have chosen for us were very good in terms of standard and services. We liked them also very much for their unique atmosphere and the beauty of landscape. Some of our group are professionally related to the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and we really appreciate such elements of surrounding.

Excellent
Mine english is not very good so I will be quick: We learn about it started in africa from a Portuguese friend. We had to decide where our honeymoon would be and we decided to go to Kenya and Tanzania. We usually travel to europe or South America (Brazil) but decided to try something more exotic and risky :) It was amazing! We see the big 5 animals, the Ngorongoro Crater is the more beautiful place I have see in my life. We see big families of elephants and babies in Tarangire. We see Kilimanjaro mountain in Amboseli. We see leopard in top of tree in Serengeti. Looks like a movie. Fantastic :)

An amazing once in a lifetime experience, made possible by Joao, Baraja and the Team
We floated a question on a Search Engine requesting for a Tour Operator who could plan a safari for us .Joao picked up our request with such alacrity that left us wondering if he is on the computer all the time! A string of E-mails followed and the rest as they say is history! Within a fortnight our trip was finalised. We landed in Tanzania and were met by Dickson who was to be our Guide for the next 6 days. Not only did we see the Big 5 (Dickson made sure that we did..) but the entire experience of the Trip-be it the Balloon Ride or the Night Safari or the Game drives or the packed lunches or the provision of the Field Glasses, were meticulously planned.All this was possible because of the professionalism of the Team- Joao ,Baraja,Sylvia,Elizabeth et al.Once we moved to Kenya,Patricia and Martin took over to give us an equally enriching experience at Amboseli and Nairobi.The Lodges that had been booked for us were wonderful especially Kibo Lodge in Amboseli.A Big Thank you to the entire Team of "It Started in Africa". Even before we touched down in India, we had started planning for another trip next Year!!!!

Perfect. Could not ask for more
Having never been outside Europe, traveling to Africa was always a bit nervous in the beginning. Somehow, after starting speaking with Joao and Luis Gama from It Started in Africa by phone and email, we became more at ease. They were incredibly informative, trustworthy, always there for us and had a very transparent company and price structure. They were the reason for us having the best vacations in our lives. We had everything we could hope for and more. From wildlife to adventure to paradisiac beaches and fantastic people, from the guide to the cook and office staff. I will come back guys
