Unforgettable experience with Spirit of Kenya and Sammy!
We had just returned from a 7-day family safari in Kenya with SOK, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience!
From the very first contact, Victor and then Laura were extremely professional, responsive and patiently answered all our questions. Every detail was clearly explained, making the entire planning and booking process extremely smooth and reassuring.
But what made this journey truly unforgettable was our fantastic guide Sammy!
Sammy’s passion for wildlife and conservancy shines through in every moment he shares with you. His deep knowledge of the parks, understanding of animals' behaviour and his remarkable instinct transformed every game drive into something far beyond what we had imagined.
He doesn’t simply share information, he has a wonderful way of bringing every moment to life, inviting us to experience its beauty, sparking our curiosity to learn more and helping us notice the little things we might otherwise have missed.
Throughout the seven days we spent together, Sammy consistently went the extra mile to make sure we always had the best experience possible. Every game drive brought new surprises, incredible sightings, fascinating stories, laughs and moments that will stay with us for a very long time.
And beyond his professionalism and extraordinary knowledge, Sammy is a bright, kind, warm-hearted, and one of those genuinely special people you feel lucky to meet.
By the end of the seven days, saying goodbye was unexpectedly difficult. We felt that we had built a connection with him that went far beyond what we expected to be the guide-and-guest relationship, and that made leaving even harder.
Thank you, Sammy, for all the unforgettable moments, for everything you taught us, and most of all, for the passion you shared with us. You didn’t just guide us through Kenya, you helped us experience it with different eyes, and that is something we will carry with us forever.
We left with hearts full of great memories, a profound love for this beautiful country, its people and incredible culture and a very special person to remember!
A special thank you as well to Moses, our driver in Nairobi, who made every journey through the city feel relaxed, comfortable and safe, while taking such wonderful care of us and making us feel truly pampered - far beyond anything we could have expected!

An unforgettable family safari and beach holiday, seamlessly organized by Francisco!
We recently booked our family trip (4 adults and 2 kids) to Kenya with Spirit of Kenya, and we couldn't be happier with the experience from start to finish! Francisco handled all the organization for us, and everything went completely smoothly—from the airport pickups and seamless hotel transfers to the coordination between destinations.
Our highlights were definitely the breathtaking safaris in the Maasai Mara and Amboseli, followed by a wonderful, relaxing time down at the coast in Diani.
A special shout-out and massive compliment must go to our driver and safari guide, Mr. Karasha. He was truly amazing! He was a wonderfully responsible driver during our long, multi-hour commutes between locations on some tough roads, always keeping us feeling safe. Beyond his driving skills, he was so kind, polite, and full of fascinating information about Kenya and the wildlife. We were especially impressed by how deeply respectful he was of the animals and nature during our game drives, keeping a safe distance and prioritizing wildlife well-being while we watched other drivers rushing around recklessly.
Spirit of Kenya delivered an incredible, well-paced family adventure, and we look forward to traveling with them again in the future. Highly recommended!

Great from start to finish - 8 days private safari for 4 people
We just came back from an eight days safari with Spirit of Kenya which included Masai Mara, lake Nakuru, lake Naivasha with Hell's Gate and Amboseli. It was a private safari for a group of four. Everything went perfectly, from the planning stage till the last airport drop off. Filipa helped us plan the whole thing and she was super responsive and patient, we exchanged close to 50 emails all together. One of our group lost her bag on arrival and they offered to help with this as well but then it came at the last moment before our departure for safari. We had George as our guide and we loved him! He was calm, knowledgeable and just a nice person. You could see he had a lot of experience and respect for the animals. In the end we saw all the big 5, the ugly 5, a super tusker, elephants in front of Mt Kilimanjaro and so much more. We had a mid range of accomodations and they were just fine. We also loved the water bottles from Spirit of Kenya they gave us at the beginning. The jeep was also good and George washed it regularly while we were on the road. I would be very happy to go on another safari with them!

We booked our safari with Spirit of Kenya, and it was the best decision we could have made. Our guide, Samuel, was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and dedicated to making our experience unforgettable. Thanks to his expertise, we witnessed some truly extraordinary moments, including lions hunting, lion cubs, a cheetah hunting, a cheetah resting in a tree, and even two leopards mating!
Samuel always seemed to know exactly where to go and when, and his patience and determination made all the difference. We couldn't have asked for a better guide.
We also want to thank Laura from the administrative team, who was incredibly kind, responsive, and helpful throughout the entire planning process. She made everything smooth and stress-free from the very beginning.
Finally, Spirit of Kenya's partners in Tanzania were just as outstanding. They were professional, friendly, and provided the same exceptional level of service, making our entire safari experience across both Kenya and Tanzania absolutely unforgettable.

Our family recently returned from our very first safari, and Spirit of Kenya made it an absolute dream. We saw every animal we had hoped to see, and the game drives through parks like the Maasai Mara and Lake Nakuru were thrilling for our entire family, including our two kids (ages 15 and 9).
The level of service was exceptional from day one. Victor was incredibly patient during the planning process, responding promptly and helping us craft an itinerary that perfectly balanced excitement and comfort for a family of four. On the ground, our guide and driver, Raphael, was phenomenal. He was highly knowledgeable about the wildlife, exceptionally friendly, and so engaging with our children. Highly recommend!
My family and I did a 6 day safari visiting Masai Mara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. We had an amazing time on our safari – it was truly an unforgettable experience! Both of our guides, Thomas in Kenya and Yassin in Tanzania, absolutely made the experience what it was. They were both so friendly and knowledgeable, and we learned so much about the animals and Africa from them! They were definitely the best part of our experience. While we were on our game drives, we could easily see the difference in engagement, excitement, and knowledge between our guides and others we saw in the parks. Both of ours were truly exceptional and we cannot thank them enough! Of course the animals were also amazing! We were lucky enough to see the Big 5 during our trip. This trip is something we will never forget!
