A perfectly organized and incredibly amazing safari
We booked a 10-day fly-in safari in Botswana through Claire at off2Africa Travel, starting at Chobe Lodge, then Savute Safari Lodge, Lodge Moremi, and ending at Lodge Okavango. From the beginning, everything was very straightforward. Claire answered all our questions expertly and quickly implemented our requests and changes. Everything worked perfectly.
The lodges were very well chosen, absolutely stunning, and located in beautiful places. It was wonderful that the lodges were so different. This meant we gained new insights into the country and the region at each location. The staff were extremely helpful, explaining and showing us so much. This gave us a wonderful overview.
Our guides were simply great. They showed us so much and explained connections—just fantastic. We really experienced and saw more than expected. You could tell that the entire staff is passionate about what they do and they welcomed us very warmly.
Only Camp Moremi was disappointing, and I cannot recommend it.
The spirit and passion of the other 3 camps were simply missing there. It wasn't anything specific, but rather many small details that were missing compared to the other camps. They do their job, but nothing more.
I can Claire from Off2Africa highly recommend to everybody. For me, she has earned more than 5 stars.

Reliable and efficient. Great service and holiday
Hi Claire
Hope this is OK? I'll copy it to the review page too.
Janet.
Victoria Falls, Munchenge and Setari Camp.
We chose to arrive in Joberg from the UK a day before our holiday started. A well considered strategy ensuring we were
fresh for the adventures ahead.
We stayed at the Southern Sun Hotel.
Clean, convenient and good food. 5 min free shuttle to / from the airport every 15mins.
Our connecting flight on day one took us to Victoria Falls airport, about 1 hr 30mins via Airlink. A seemless meet and greet at the airport and onto Victoria Falls Safari Lodge for the early afternoon. A beautiful remote
lodge set high on a plateau overlooking the bush and it's own watering hole. They have various wildlife visit. It was a joy to sit,
watch, relax and take it all in from the bar, restaurant or your own balcony. Open panoramic views and no buildings in sight. The rooms are spaces, clean and comfortable. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent. A great start to our holday. We had 2 nights here. The first night we enjoyed a lovely sunset cruise on
the River. The price included food and drink. A lovely start to our holiday.
So after day one relaxing and enjoying the lodge we had pre arranged plans to see the Victoria Falls.
Our guide met us at the lodge and drove us the short journey to our first stop at the Lookout Cafe. From here we had pre booked a 'Gorge Swing'. Basically that's a leap off a platform that drops 70 meters over the Zambeze River then swings out over the waters below. Not for the faint
hearted but no jolting or bunjee involved. Exillerating and fun. A story to tell! We had pre booked this. Afterwards we enjoyed the stunning views over the Zambeze with a coffee in the Lookout Cafe. There are other activities in the area. Worth
researching if you fancy a lttle adventure!
Our guide stayed with us for the duration and made sure we got to where we wanted.
The Victoria Falls area is very safe and a lovely area. There were some Elephants roaming locally too!
Our next stop was Victoria Falls itself. The guide arranged hire of 'poncho's' prior to entry to the falls. You will need them! $3 pp. Entry to the Falls is $116 per couple, guides are $25 optional. We chose not to have a guide. The walk takes around 1 and
half to 2 hours. As you wander around tbe falls there are numerous look out points to enjoy the stunning views and witness the power of the water. Water levels were high when we went meaning the spray obscured clear views but if you're patient so take that poncho and something to keep the camera dry.
After the walk there is a nice cafe to enjoy a drink / food. All very relaxing. There's even a Wart hog to look out for!.
As you leave there is a local market where your guide will likely arrange to meet you and local traders sell the usual wears. All friendly and not overly pushy either.
For us it was back to tbe lodge to enjoy more of those views and an evening dinner.
Breakfast is a small buffet with waiter
service for hot food. A lovely stay.
Onward to Munchenje. Again a seemless meet and greet from the lobby and transfer with other pick ups en route in a small comfortable mini bus. Approx 2/3 hours including border crossings and customs into Botswana. A change of guides and buses at tbe crossing points it wasn't busy at the border control. All well
organised. Do keep all of your footwear handy though for dissinfecting. (A foot & mouth control procedure)
We arrived at Munchenje to a warm welcome. It felt like a personal greeting from each member of the team. Its a small camp. Not busy. Beautiful lodges overlooking amazing views. The lodges are lovely. Everything you need and private.
There is a swimming pool too. The main building is the dining / bar area.Comfortable seating inside and out. Dining and breakfast is a shared experience with other guests and guides and managers.
Time for a chat to share those stories.
They do all they possibly can to welcome you and are very friendly. Everyone is available to introduce themselves and even the chefs get involved introducing the menu each night. A nice touch and a chance for them to practice their English.
The camp aside the real reason you visit
Munchenje is for the Game drives and they don't dissapoint. We were there for 3 nights. In all we did seven game drives and missed the 2 drives at night. Early mornings and late afternoons are the norm to catch the animals. You will not be dissapointed but there are no guarantees
on what you'll see. Sadly we missed the elusive Leopard but others did see them!
As part of our experience we enjoyed a days boat safari. Water levels are high currently. We had an amazing stop on the water with a buffet lunch on the boat whilst watching the Elephants bathe. Unforgetable!
The final chapter of our journey was at Setari Camp in the Delta. This is remote and offers a different experience. Getting there requires an initial fixed wing plane ride. Max 11 seats hence the luggage restruction of 15kg pp, although our luggage was never weighed. The plane journey is an adventure in itself offering fantastic views of the Delta below and a chance to animal spot. Our journey did involve a storm which was a little hairy but all part of our experience. Landing strips are dotted around the Delta and serve as stops to drop off and pick up passengers.
Flying is the only means to get in and out.
Getting to Setari camp involves a further boat ride through the delta. About 45 minutes and chance to see the bird life and views. Again tbe camp is remote and small. Set in its own mini rain forest the spacious lodges and main building are
raised fixed tent buildings accessed by a long decked bridge from the river. As with Muchenje the welcome feels personal and genuine. All the staff are friendly and welcoming.
Meals are also communal with other guests and breakfast if a buffet with waiter service for hot food. The lodges are spacious and comfortable. Everything you need including an outside shower if you fancy it. Amazing views. No kettle though.
They have to be careful with the electric output. Not a major issue. The main building is for meals and includes a bar and comfortable seating. Great for the views and listening to the birds.
The safaris are water based. They navigate the waterways and offer a chance to see the varied bird life. Its also adjacent to a park so you'll have the opportunity to see other land animals such as Elephant, deer and anyting else that might wander by.
There are opportunities to vary your experience with a local village visit or a Makuru boat ride. We had 2 nights which was basically 1 full day but that was probably about the right amount of time.
Another boat transfer back to the airstrip provided more sights and memories and to finish the holiday in style the pilot let me sit up front for the journey, much to the bemusement and worry of fellow passengers! A great experience including an aborted take off due to a warthog crosing the runway!.
Aside from the superb lodges the transfers by road, plane and boat all add to the sights, experience and adventure so there is no sense of time wasted travelling.
There's no time to rest as there's too much to see and do.
A fantastic itinary, Wonderful lodges, great service and extremely well organised throughout by Off to Africa and Claire Saunders.
Thank you so much. We would not hesitate in recommending the trip or Off to Africa and, of course, Claire Saunders.

Thank you Sian & Emma for an unforgettable trip filled with experiences creating lifelong memories
I would like to thank, you both Sian and Emma from Off2 Africa for arranging an incredible, seamless, and truly unforgettable holiday. From start to finish, every detail was perfectly planned, allowing us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the experience.
Our stay at Victoria Falls Safari lodge was absolutely breathtaking, watching the animals at the waterhole was an unforgettable experience. The falls themselves— a spectacular natural wonder that exceeded all expectations. The arrangements were flawless, giving us the perfect balance of adventure and comfort. Their suggestion to stay at Chobe rather than go for the day was inspired. Chobe Game Lodge delivered an exceptional safari experience, with incredible wildlife sightings and outstanding hospitality. The game drives and boat trips felt special, and the setting along the river was simply magical. Watching the elephants come down to the river, and the youngsters playing in the water was so special. The sunset cruise was outstanding.
Moving to Sabi Sands and Idube Game Reserve, this was nothing short of extraordinary. The level of expertise from the guides and trackers, combined with the intimacy of the reserve, gave us some of the most memorable wildlife encounters we’ve ever had and one we will forever remember. The accommodation itself was magical. It was truly a highlight of the trip.
Finally, Cape Town provided the perfect ending — a vibrant, beautiful city with so much to explore. Off 2 Africa curated an itinerary that captured the very best of it, from stunning scenery, unique experiences and personal touches at each of the accommodations.
What really stood out was the attention to detail, the smooth logistics, and the feeling that everything had been thoughtfully tailored just for us. We never had to worry about a thing. Even the link1 night stays in Sunrock and Casterbridge Hollow exceeded expectation.
We cannot recommend Sian and Off 2 Africa highly enough — they turned our dream holiday into a reality and created memories that will last a lifetime.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts

A Bespoke Masterpiece: Flawless Family Adventure with Off2Africa
We have just returned from an absolutely incredible holiday organized by Claire Saunders at Off2Africa, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.
From start to finish, the experience was seamless, professional, and deeply personal.
I initially approached Claire with a pre-set tour idea, but she transformed it into a bespoke masterpiece.
Here is why Claire stands out:
• Attentive Listening: She set up a call early on to understand our family's specific needs and wants, ensuring the itinerary reflected us rather than a "cookie-cutter" template.
• Patience & Flexibility: Claire was incredibly patient with our numerous changes and timing adjustments, continuously refining the plan until it was perfect.
• Expert Detail: Her responses were always clear, highly detailed, and professional. We felt supported at every single turn.
• Going Above & Beyond: She is remarkably responsive and clearly cares about the traveler experience.
Every part of our journey was unique and special. If you are looking for a dream African getaway where every detail is handled with care, look no further than Claire and the Off2Africa team. We will definitely be booking with her again!

Very responsive to. Queries provided excellent and appropriate information.
Off 2 Africa provided the best tour and safari experience that we've ever had
in Zimbabwe. They responded quickly to ongoing questions, and our program proceeded easily and effeciently. They suggested excellent accomodation in Vic Falls and the Safari lodge and it's staff provided us with a truly memorable safari. All things considered, really great value for money.

Meticulous attention to detail resulting in a flawlessly executed trip
Sian was fantastic to work with. Her communication and expectations were always very clear. All of our "hand-offs" from one location to the next was executed flawlessly, allowing us to have the most stress free vacation to enjoy the great sights and many animals that we saw during our travels in South Africa and Zimbabwe. We will definitely use Off2Africa again for our next trip.

Everything was organised from start to finish and went like clockwork
I planned my trip very late so it was a pleasure to allow Out of Africa to organise the entire trip including transfers and internal flights. I visited locations I would have been unlikely to find myself and it all went faultlessly. The hotel was good and the lodges in South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana were very high quality. While not cheap, I felt I got good value for money. Communication was excellent. I was very pleased and would happily recommend this company.

Efficient and responsive
Chloe and Emma handled my booking and inquiries for this safari to Botswana. Communication was excellent, both via email and WhatsApp. All questions were answered promptly and clearly. The tour itself was very good - it was a luxury option at three camps Okuti, Kanana, and Dinaka. Each camp had its own unique features, especially in terms of things to do. All three camps were owned by Ker and Downey which made transfer and adjustments at each camp easy and straightforward. Staff at these camps were extremely professional and did everything possible to make guests stay comfortable. I even had a surprise birthday cake at one of the camps where I happen to be on my birthday! Compare to other safari destinations, Botswana comes out to be on the expensive side, but you can understand why due to the terrain (for example, all transportation is via small aircraft or sometimes helicopter) and relative remoteness of the camps and locations. I definitely recommend Off2Africa for Botswana safaris.

Last-minute trip, perfectly planned from start to finish
We recently went on a 9-day / 8-night safari trip with Off2Africa Travel, traveling through Zimbabwe and Botswana, and everything was organized perfectly from start to finish.
I traveled together with my mother, and from the very beginning, the planning process was smooth and easy. Robyn was always friendly, helpful, and quick to respond, and she created a well-structured itinerary for us.
We started our trip in Zimbabwe, staying at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, where we enjoyed several activities around Victoria Falls, including a beautiful guided walk with stunning views and very interesting insights, as well as experiences like bungee jumping.
Everything for the trip was perfectly organized, and we never had to worry about anything. Even activities around Victoria Falls were arranged in advance, which made everything completely stress-free. Once we arrived, we could simply relax and enjoy the experience. Transfers and flights between locations were also seamlessly arranged, which made the journey very comfortable.
In Botswana, we stayed at Chobe Elephant Camp and Kala Camp, which were both highlights of the trip. The camps were very cozy, close to nature, and had a really special atmosphere. The safaris were an amazing experience and made the trip truly unforgettable.
All drivers and guides throughout the trip were excellent – very friendly, professional, and always made us feel comfortable.
We also really appreciated how everything was planned according to our wishes, especially considering how last-minute the booking was.
Overall, it was an unforgettable trip, and we are very grateful for the great organization. We would absolutely recommend Off2Africa Travel to anyone looking for a well-planned and special safari experience.

One of the best trips I've ever had!
This trip was amazing from the planning process to the execution. Robyn was super flexible and helped me plan the perfect trip. While I was there she helped me make some last minute changes to ensure I get the most out of my trip.
Zimbabwe itself was just magical and I will for sure be back. The lodges was safe, beautiful with good food and plenty of animal sightings. Pickups were on time and communicated clearly. I recommend this company 100% and am already looking forward to planning the next one with them.
