A Truly Heartfelt Safari – Beyond Our Expectations
We just returned from the most memorable safari with Serengeti Wakanda, and I can say without hesitation—it was the trip of a lifetime.
From the start, our tour consultant was extremely responsive and helpful, not only answering all our questions but also giving us advice on what to expect, what to pack, and even what to wear for the balloon safari! It gave us peace of mind before arriving.
Our guide Andrew was simply phenomenal. His knowledge of wildlife, ecosystems, and animal behavior was on another level. He spotted a leopard lounging in a tree from an unbelievable distance and shared so many interesting facts over dinner each night. His passion for wildlife made every game drive exciting and educational.
Being vegetarian, we were a bit unsure about the food options—but wow, were we impressed! Every lodge—Marera Mountain View Lodge, Signature Serengeti Camp, and Masek Lodge—offered delicious and creative vegetarian meals. We were truly well-fed and cared for.
A special highlight: we celebrated Father’s Day at Signature Camp, and they surprised us with a beautiful cake. It was such a thoughtful gesture that touched our hearts.
We were lucky to see a wide variety of wildlife: lions with cubs, elephants with calves, the Great Migration, even a rhino in Serengeti, which was a huge surprise! Our early morning game drives were filled with magic—and the balloon safari was absolutely breathtaking.
Our vehicle was clean, comfortable, and always stocked with water, wine, and beer—such a nice touch. We even witnessed Andrew assist other guides whose vehicles were stuck or broken down. It was heartwarming to see that level of camaraderie.
We also met other guides from the Wakanda team along the way, and the sense of family and unity among them was so clear. It’s no surprise that the entire trip felt warm, genuine, and incredibly well organized.
Highly recommend Serengeti Wakanda—for their professionalism, kindness, and passion. You won’t just go on a safari—you’ll feel like part of their extended family.

Bashir is good natured, knowledgeable, and hospitable.
Words really cannot do this trip justice. Irene was so helpful in coordinating the trip and answered all questions promptly. We were able to see so many animals and birds. Our guide Bashir was so thoughtful and an expert on locating animals (patience is key). Luckily on our trip we were able to see the big five, lions, elephants, buffalo, rhinos, and a leopard in less than 24 hours. The lodging was clean and the hotel staff was very attentive. Bashir was so knowledgeable it was like watching a nature documentary. I would 100 percent recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Irene and Bashir!

Great life experience, very professional and reliable
Starting with finding the right package, Goodluck was very helpful to assist us finding the right Safari for us. We went through many interactions, varying budget, destinations etc. He was extremely patience and very responsive. I was normally texting him in the evening when I had time, and he was always ready to respond. When I compared it to other options I had I thought it was among the best priced.
The journey itself was a life experience. This was my second Tanzanian safari, this time I brought my parents (their first time) and I was hoping they had an unforgettable experience…. I think it was a success !
My parents were looking forward to seeing wild animals for the first time, but also in learning more about the culture(s) in Tanzania. Our guide, Francis, a Maasai himself was very prepared, knowledgable and always ready to reply to our, often times, unusual questions. We always felt safe and taken care of. Traveling with my parents meant that I wanted to have a predictable, easy going, and feeling safe journey. He delivered.
…and the cherry in the cake was definitely the food. Dula our chef cooked 3 delicious and abundant meals a day. He is an excellent chef that is obviously passionate about cooking. Not only taste, but also visual presentation and very found of making you feel like in fancy restaurant, while you’re actually camping :) We had asked to have local dishes. He delivered.

Great Safari Experience
We had a private tour with Serengeti Wakanda Tours covering waterfalls hiking, coffee plantatiom visit, Safari in Tarangiri, Serengeti and the Crater. The company was super responsive to all our needs and requests. The trip was very well planned, all the accomodations were great and our guide Andrew was super knowledgable and experienced. He was able to find us a lot of great animal sightings. His timing and planning was always great. And he was very friendly and kind. Overall I really recommend Serengeti Wakanda Tours to anyone that is willing to make a Safari Tour.

Exceptionally organised, responsive & thoughtful
A massive thank you to Serengity Wakanda Tours for organizing an unforgettable safari experience in Tanzania! From start to finish, everything was handled with such care, professionalism, and heart.
Special thanks to Aishwarya, our incredible tour organizer, who ensured every detail was perfectly planned. Your prompt communication, flexibility, and thoughtful touches made all the difference—we felt looked after every step of the way! Though we booked too last minute and we wanted our trip to merge with our friends but less days, Aishwarya planned it exactly the way we wanted & we were able to cover the entire safari very well.
And to Benji, our amazing driver and guide—what a legend! 🚙🐾 Your deep knowledge of the wildlife, sharp spotting skills, and genuine passion for the land made each game drive an absolute joy. You didn’t just drive us through the savannah—you brought the whole experience to life. Our teen boys learned so much from you and you were so patient with them. Truly unforgettable experience!
Thank you both for making this trip not just a holiday, but a memory we’ll cherish forever. Highly recommend Serengity Wakanda Tours to anyone dreaming of a magical Tanzanian safari! 🌄🦒

Best experience ever
I recently returned from a 7-day safari tour in Tanzania, and I can confidently say it was one of the most unforgettable travel experiences of my life. From breathtaking landscapes to incredible wildlife encounters, every day was packed with adventure and awe.
We stayed in a mix of charming lodges and luxury tented camps. Falling asleep to the sounds of the wild under the stars was magical. The food was fresh, plentiful, and catered well to dietary needs.
Everything was organized to perfection. Our guide, Anderson, was not only experienced and friendly but also deeply passionate about wildlife and conservation. His insights made every moment richer.

Unforgettable Safari Experience with Amazing Guide, Stunning Parks, and Delicious Food
We had an amazing safari experience with Serengeti Wakanda Safari & Tours. Our guide, Tom, was absolutely great—super knowledgeable, friendly, and always made sure we were having a good time. He really helped us get the most out of every place we visited.
We started in Arusha, where we visited the Serval Wildlife sanctuary, which was such a special experience. From there we went to Tarangire National Park, full of elephants and beautiful landscapes. The Central Serengeti was everything we hoped for—wild, stunning, and full of life. We ended with the Ngorongoro Crater, which felt like stepping into another world.
Every day was packed and yes, it was definitely tiring, but completely worth it. The views, the animals, and the atmosphere made it all unforgettable.
And then there was the food. Thanks to Ashraf, we ate like royalty—every single day. The meals were so good and so generous that we were completely full after every meal. It honestly became something we looked forward to just as much as the safari itself.
It was an incredible trip from start to finish. Would highly recommend.

An Unforgettable Safari with Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safari
Our safari in Tanzania with Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safari was truly a dream come true. We had the privilege of being guided by Tom, our amazing guide, and Ashraf, our incredible chef , two people who made this journey absolutely unforgettable.
Tom was everything you’d hope for in a safari guide and more. His knowledge about wildlife is outstanding. He always seemed to know exactly where to find the animals, and not just the adults, but their adorable little ones too. We saw baby elephants, baby giraffes, baby zebras like it was magical.
What makes Tom truly special is his character. He’s naturally kind, always cheerful, full of stories, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Every evening, he’d sit down with us to plan the next day, always setting a specific time to ensure the best sightings. Sometimes that meant early mornings, but trust me: he knows exactly when the animals are most active, and it’s 100% worth it.
He made sure we were always comfortable, kept us informed, and took the time to explain the culture, the land, and even a bit of Swahili! Thanks to him, I’ve learned so much about Tanzania and the Maasai people. And I now know a few Swahili words too! I also managed to take amazing close-up photos of the animals thanks to his skills and timing.
And then there’s Ashraf, our chef who is only 23 years old, but what a talent! Honestly, he should open his own restaurant one day. He prepared fresh, delicious meals three times a day, traveling with us the whole time. He barely slept, just to make sure we were well taken care of. He cooks with love, works incredibly clean, and is doing his best to learn English. I’m so thankful for everything he did during this trip. He was a huge part of our experience.
Another lovely surprise: we even received some really thoughtful gifts along the way (but I won’t spoil what they were!).
A quick note on tipping: please remember that tips are an important part of their income. Even a small gesture like $2 for someone who helps load your bags means a lot. Unfortunately, we didn’t bring much cash, but our guide kindly covered some tips for us, something we were incredibly grateful for. For the guide and the chef, we recommend budgeting $5–10 per person per day. Believe me, they absolutely deserve it.
If you’re still hesitating about going to Tanzania, don’t. Go and enjoy. We never once felt unsafe. Everything was well-organized, the safari vehicles were super cool, and the whole experience was beyond what we imagined.
I also highly recommend spending at least one night in a tent. Waking up with the sunrise and the sounds of animals around you is an experience you’ll never forget.
To Tom and Ashraf: thank you again for everything. We will never forget you.
