Wakanda Forever!
5/5

Our 4 day fly in fly out safari with Serengeti Wakanda Tours was truly unforgettable! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and full of joy.

We saw 4 of the big 5 in the first few hours of arriving in the Serengeti!! And all 5 by the end of the 3rd day! (The rhinos were hiding from us it seemed🤪).
Our guide Stanley was absolutely impeccable — his humour, patience, and professionalism, made every moment special. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, informed, and always having fun.
Stanley’s knowledge of the Serengeti was incredible — you can tell he’s not only passionate but also highly educated and trained in what he does. The depth of what he knew about every animal, bird, and even the plants was so impressive and made every day feel like a fascinating learning experience.
It was evident that his impressive knowledge stems from both formal training and years of dedicated experience within the Serengeti. His ability to share complex information in such an engaging, understandable way made the whole experience even more memorable.

The company itself was also outstanding. Serengeti Wakanda Tours were incredibly accommodating and supportive, even when we had a little mishap along the way - we left our medication in the mini fridge in the previous hotel and they had it flown out to the Serengeti to us on the next flight! Their organisation and care made us feel completely looked after throughout the trip.

I would highly recommend booking through wakanda - the booking process was seamless and Beatrice was brilliant with any changes we needed! Beatrice was also contactable throughout the whole booking process AND during the trip via WhatsApp which made you feel even more supported.
Make sure you spend a day in the Ngorongoro crater as well as the Serengeti.
I would also be so jealous of anyone who gets Stanley as their guide in the future! Truly a legend!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you Stanley, Beatrice and the whole team for making our time in the Serengeti a truly magical experience! 🌿🐘🦁

Amazing Safari Experience
5/5

We had a great 6 day safari with Wakanda Tours all through Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorogoro.
The communication upfront w. the office was very easy and we had quick responses taking our questions and wishes into account.
Once arrived in Tansania, all went pretty flawless.
Special thanks also to our guide Stanley, driving the "extra mile" to make sure we saw all the animals we wanted - mission accomplished - and on top sharing a bit about country and culture.

Amazing tour operator
5/5

We had an absolutely amazing time on our 6-day safari with Serengeti Wakanda Tours! From the moment we arrived in Tanzania to our departure, everything was managed flawlessly, and we had nothing to worry about. The whole trip was seamless, and we truly enjoyed every moment.

A special thanks to our guide, Witson! His experience and expertise made all the difference. He always knew where to find the best spots, taking us to beautiful, less crowded places where we could fully appreciate the wildlife. Witson’s knowledge of the animals and local culture was impressive, and we learned so much during our time together.

We were lucky enough to witness the dramatic river crossings in North Serengeti, and to top it off, we even spotted black rhinos in Ngorongoro Crater! We were able to see all of the Big 5, and it was an unforgettable experience.

The food and accommodations were excellent, and we couldn’t have asked for better. Ymke, our Serengeti Wakanda Tours coordinator truly took care of everything, and crafted us a memorable and stress-free holiday.

We highly recommend Serengeti Wakanda Tours to anyone looking for a top-notch safari experience. Thank you for making our adventure so special!

Wakanda Forever!
5/5

After comparing several safari packages, my friend and me finally decided to use Wakanda Serengeti for our last-minute Africa trip. We were not disappointed and would definitely recommend this company to any friends visiting Tanzania in future.

Innocent, our first driver, met up with us at the airport punctually and when requested, brought us to buy a simcard as well as change some money at the bank. We met our tour driver cum guide Tom (Tum Sifu) and chef Sulle on the second day. After briefing us on the safari itinerary, Tom was able to clear our doubts on any questions we had. In fact, he welcomed us to ask as many questions as we could. Tom is a walking encyclopedia and I was impressed by his knowledge on a wide variety of subjects ranging from animal behaviours to Masai culture. Tom is also a crazy fast driver. We had many long, bumpy drives across vast lands and when I enquired about his breakneck speed, he told me that the ride would be far bumpier if he drives slowly on the bumpy road, which made sense.

At a local shopping area, Tom gave us his honest insights on what the market prices should be for certain souvenirs and tanzanite, as well as where to best buy them. Since we were on a private tour, our itinerary could afford to be more flexible than usual. Now and then, Tom would suggest minor itinerary changes that he feels would grant us a better safari experience. There were also days that we wanted to start our safari at the break of dawn, and Tom would re-arrange the meal times with Sulle so we could start our day way earlier.

In Tarangire, I made a gaffe by standing on the back rack of the vehicle from my excitement at seeing many elephants up close. It became an issue when someone took a picture of my transgression, but Tom was understanding and did not scold me or let the incident affect the mood of our safari. In fact, he made it his personal mission to enable us as many animal sightings as he possibly could. Blessed with Tom’s amazing eyesight, his network of local guides with real-time updates on spotting animals, 16 years of experience in locating animal haunts and his knack for jeep positioning that allows us the best photo angles, my friend and me were able to shoot lots of fantastic photos throughout the trip. We were lucky to witness a cheetah hunt on our second day in Serengeti, after which we spent the last two days searching for a leopard. Incredibly, we managed to spot the elusive animal on the last day, just a few hours before our park permit expires. At Ngorongoro, we were even able to spy some rhinos far away in the distance so technically, we managed to see the fabled Big Five on this one safari trip!

Equipment-wise, our safari jeep was very comfortable and built like a tank. Being able to solar-charge our electronic devices in the jeep was super convenient since we were camping on most days. A portable Mifi device was provided for us to share with our guide, although powering it on is a bit tricky since the button markings are all worn out. The tent canvas is of a superb quality - strong winds buffeted my tent violently in the middle of the night but I felt nothing. The mattress is thick and our sleeping bags proved to be warm enough for temperatures as low as 8 degree celsius. Accommodation facilities at the campsites are surprisingly decent too, with well-maintained permanent structures such as kitchens and toilets. Some campsites, like Simba, even offer limited hot baths!

A special shoutout to our wonderful chef, Sulle. I have nothing but praise for this gentle, humble man who always greets us with a smile and is active in cultivating several young chefs both past and present. He would often ask us what we’d like to eat, or if we had any dietary preferences, so we can properly enjoy the food he makes. It goes without saying that Sulle is an experienced chef who can cook up a storm of delicacies on a campsite. He also makes delicious desserts, as well as fresh bread to supplement his awesome soups. Sulle is not only polite and helpful to all our needs, but always tries to go the extra mile. Little things he did, such as bringing out a whole assortment of toppings when I was merely asking a question regarding peanut butter, or smilingly decline sitting with us on his soft mattress bed for breakfast at the kitchen so we got more space to ourselves.. these memories will stay with me long after my African adventure have ended.

All in all, my friend and me is totally thrilled with the Wakanda Serengeti experience. From the start, Whatsapp communication is responsive and we received a beautifully detailed itinerary to hype us up for our upcoming adventure. Pickup from the airport was smooth and four days after we finished the tour, the Wakandans even provided a free ride back to the airport from our hotel in Arusha. Our safari was exceptionally fulfilling as we were able to shoot lots of pictures worthy of National Geographic. To top it off, we even got some free gifts to reminisce over our time in Africa. All I can say is.. Wakanda Forever!

Great value, great guide, great food, amazing experience!
5/5

We had the most amazing weekend with Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris! We went to lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and lake Eyasi.
Our guide, Issa was amazing! He made the experience even better by taking good care of us, showing us the best sights and many animals. He happily adjusted the schedule to best suit our group. Issa was so kind, helpful and welcoming and seemed excited to share his knowledge!
The food was delicious throughout the whole weekend; starters, main courses and even desserts!
Accommodations were decently good. We stayed at “Fig Tree lodge”, which was cozy, but not the highest standard. For our expectations and budget, it was good!

Thanks to Issa (guide) and Salim (chef) for doing the little extra and creating an amazing experience!

An Unforgettable Safari Experience Thanks to Our Amazing Guide!
5/5

Our safari was absolutely incredible, and so much of that is thanks to our wonderful guide, Stanley. From the moment we met, he made us feel comfortable, safe, and excited for every adventure ahead. Stanley has an incredible eye — spotting animals we never would have seen on our own — and knew exactly where to go for the best sightings.

Beyond his deep knowledge of the wildlife and environment, it was his passion, patience, and sense of humor that made every moment special. We learned so much about the animals, the landscape, and even local culture. Every game drive felt unique and unforgettable.

Thanks to Stanley, we didn’t just see Africa’s beauty — we truly experienced it. We can’t recommend him highly enough and feel so grateful to have shared this adventure together.

8 day Lemosho Route Kilimanjaro and 6 day Safari
5/5

We completed the 8-day Lemosho Route Kilimanjaro climb and a 6-day mid-range safari with Serengeti Wakanda, and the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. We can’t recommend Serengeti Wakanda highly enough.

Kilimanjaro Trek
Our guides, Godwin and Felix, were outstanding — above all, we felt safe with them at every stage. The mountain team worked incredibly hard to make the experience comfortable and memorable, with thoughtful touches included in the price (like our own toilet tent and hot water bottles). We had one of the best setups on the mountain, and the porters were exceptional and lots of fun. They ensured we were well-prepared for a successful summit, conducting twice-daily checks to monitor our response to the altitude.

Safari Adventure
The safari was equally impressive, with a well-planned itinerary covering four very different parks (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater). Our guide, Justin, was knowledgeable and accommodating, tracking down some truly exceptional wildlife sightings, knowing exactly where to look for what we wanted to see. The accommodations throughout were excellent and well-matched to the itinerary.

Trip Planning and Support
A huge thank you to Aishwarya for crafting such a brilliant itinerary, accommodating our changes, and promptly answering every question — no matter how small — before the trip. They also made payment on arrival very easy - coming to us at a convenient point in the trip (which for us was after our climb).

Handling Unexpected Issues
We had a few hiccups due to our airline losing our bags. Aishwarya was proactive in chasing them down, even using SW drivers at the airport to follow up. She was the first to inform us that one bag was en route to the hotel. When the second bag hadn’t arrived before our Kilimanjaro trek, she arranged for our guides to take us to a hire shop for essential gear. Once the bag did arrive, she ensured it was transferred to our next accommodation after the climb.
Even when our departure flight changed airports and pushed back four hours, Serengeti Wakanda adjusted the drop-off without any issues and squeezed in a trip to a Masai village. Hakuna Matata!

Unforgettable experience: a whirlwind safari in Tanzania
5/5

While on a short vacation in Zanzibar, Wakanda Serengeti tour operator gave us the perfect opportunity to visit Tanzania mainland and have a splendid two-day safari.
Everything has been meticulously organized from beginning to end and we just had to enjoy a tour across the incredible sceneries and fauna of Tarangire and Ngorongoro with the help of an English and French guide named Bashir. The latter was not only a very agreeable companion, but also a competent guide and an excellent driver. Very resourceful, he took us precisely to the best locations and gave us a lot of interesting information on just everything!
A very high level of caring and catering, with an excellent level of communication. Wakanda Serengeti, an agency to recommend, definitely!!

The absolute best!!
5/5

We went on the 2 day safari trip with departure from Zanzibar to Arusha and then Tarangire and Ngorongoro conservation park. We traveled as a family of six including two grand-parents and two kids (who had just turned 5 and 8). We had the absolute best experience with Serengeti Wakanda tours. From the booking stage, thanks to personalized support from Beatrice and Jamilah, to the trip itself, with a seamless organization all the way. We didn't have to worry about a thing.
Our guide Bashir was awesome! he even spoke fluent French on top of English and Swahili, and we saw animals beyond what we were hoping for. He got us the best wildlife show both days :)
All of it with a super comfortable car and cool open roof, and amazing lunch and breakfast spots surrounded by wildlife.
We felt like nothing could have been better for us! It was a perfect trip!!
Asante Sana, and when we can come back for longer for a full Serengeti trip we will definitely use this company again!! :)
