An absolutely exceptional safari from start to finish ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Choosing Serengeti Wakanda Tour was one of the best decisions we made for our honeymoon. From the very first conversation to our final goodbye, everything was exceptionally well organised, thoughtful and personal. We could not recommend them more highly.
It all started with the presales team. Ymke and Aishwarya were fantastic throughout the planning process. They listened to what we wanted, gave us excellent suggestions and helped us shape an itinerary that was much better than what we would have planned ourselves. Their recommendation to fly directly into Kogatende in Northern Serengeti, rather than spending hours driving there, was brilliant, as was their advice on how many days to spend in each area. We always felt that they were genuinely trying to create the best possible experience for us, rather than simply selling us a package.
Our experience continued with Fabby, who picked us up from Kilimanjaro Airport and took us to our hotel in Arusha, and Cuthbert, who later took us to Arusha Airport for our flight to Kogatende. Both were incredibly friendly, talkative and welcoming, always with a smile on their faces. It immediately gave us confidence that we were in very good hands.
And then we met Felix, our safari guide — and honestly, how lucky were we!
Felix was absolutely outstanding. From the beginning, he explained the Serengeti rules and everything we needed to know, and he patiently answered every question we had with incredible detail. He was funny, kind, attentive and always willing to help.
But what really made Felix exceptional was his knowledge of the Serengeti and his skills as a safari driver and guide. His ability to spot animals at an almost impossible distance was incredible — sometimes he could see things with his naked eye that we could barely find with binoculars! He seemed to understand the animals and anticipate what was about to happen. We witnessed not only the Big Five, but also some extraordinary wildlife interactions and action happening right in front of us. There were several moments when it genuinely felt like Felix somehow knew what was going to happen next.
For our stay in Central Serengeti, we were also lucky enough to experience the new Lala Salama Luxury Resort, which was outstanding. Everything was brand new, beautifully designed and incredibly comfortable. As honeymooners, we were welcomed with a special room setup, and the entire team was exceptionally kind and attentive throughout our stay. The views from the dining area and outdoor spaces are simply breathtaking — the kind of scenery that photographs really cannot do justice.
Our final day in Ngorongoro was equally unforgettable and was the perfect way to finish an incredible safari.
And as if all of this wasn’t enough, Serengeti Wakanda also surprised us with some lovely gifts — a T-shirt, a Maasai shuka and mugs. Such a thoughtful and generous gesture that we really appreciated.
Looking back, what stands out most is not just the incredible animals and landscapes, but the people. Every person we interacted with genuinely cared about making our experience special.

Fantastic
Andrew was our tour guide. He is very knowledgeable, would go over what the next days plans were, and knew where to find all the animals that we wanted to see. He is so personable, and provided a specialized lunch for us each day. He quickly became like a family member, great sense of humor.

This safari was truly one of the most incredible experiences of our lives!
Aysha was fantastic from the very beginning, helping us plan the perfect itinerary and making excellent recommendations tailored to our preferences and needs. Everything was incredibly well organised, from the comfortable jeeps to the amazing hotels and camps she recommended throughout the trip.
Our guide, Julius, made the experience even more unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and enthusiastic, and his passion for the wildlife really made a difference. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide!

Perfect Trip!!
We had a wonderful classic safari and were completely satisfied! We spent two nights in tented lodges (hotel-like accommodation) and the remaining eight nights camping in a tent. The campsites were very beautiful, and each location had its own special charm. What we especially loved was hearing lions roaring at night and seeing zebras right in front of our tent in the morning.
A big thank you goes to our cook Yussuf. The food was always incredibly delicious, especially the baked treats! Even though he didn’t know in advance that there would be a vegetarian in the group, he prepared an additional tasty vegetarian dish for us every day. That was truly amazing.
The entire trip was very well organized, and communication worked perfectly. Even for last-minute questions, we always received quick responses via WhatsApp.
Our guide Isa was extremely attentive and always responded to all our wishes. He has extensive knowledge and was able to explain many interesting things about the animals and nature – all in clear and understandable English.
We were also very impressed by how he handled an unexpected breakdown: when our jeep broke down, we were quickly transferred to another vehicle while Isa took care of the repair. This allowed the safari to continue without any major interruption.
Isa also showed great respect for wildlife and always behaved responsibly toward the animals. We were actually able to see all the animals we had hoped for on our safari – including many beautiful and unforgettable encounters.
A huge thank you to the entire team for this amazing safari and the many unforgettable memories! We would book this safari again anytime and can highly recommend the team. 🌍🦁🐘

Very well planned Safari trip- every detail of our trip was amazing!!
There are simply not enough words to properly describe our Serengeti Wakanda experience and our amazing 7-day safari. From start to finish, it was an unforgettable honeymoon and an adventure we will treasure forever.

She took the time to understand what we wanted and provided us with several different itineraries, carefully recommending the one she felt would suit us best. Our guide, Zepha, was absolutely fantastic and truly made our safari experience so memorable. He was friendly, passionate about his job, and incredibly knowledgeable about birds, plants, animals, the surrounding areas, and local culture. What impressed us most was his deep respect for the wildlife and for fellow travellers.
Zepha always went the extra mile to find the best viewpoints and give us amazing opportunities to see the animals up close and capture incredible photographs. He was also very attentive to what we enjoyed. Whenever he noticed that I was eager to stop and take more pictures, he would always ask if we wanted more time for photographs. Those thoughtful little touches made such a difference.
We saw and experienced so much during our 7-day safari, but it was the people behind the experience who made it truly special. Tanisha and Zepha were both exceptional, and we cannot thank them enough for helping make our honeymoon such an unforgettable adventure.

Undeniably the best Safari Company in Tanzania
There are not enough words to properly describe Serengeti Wakanda and their Camp Lala Salama. I mean, almost 2k reviews and a solid 5/5 does mean something. Not only the camp itself is the true meaning of luxury, whilst being sustainable and respectful with the ecosystem, it is absolutely high end and remarkably refined. Also, the people that make the team of this company are magnificent. From the very first minute they make you feel comfortable, warm, welcome and really taken care of. Their safety measurements, their respect for animals, their attention to detail, it is truly exemplary. Our guide, Felix, was absolutely fantastic. He had very good knowledge about birds, plants, animals, the surroundings, the local culture, and also, very importantly, deep respect for the animals and other travelers. He made our experience memorable, and every team member at the camp, Godlitsen, Paul, Cosmas, Dan, just to mention a few but they were all magnificent. Thanks to the entire team at Serengeti Wakanda for a spectacular Safari experience in Tanzania and my most honest congratulations for such a magnificent company and fantastic lodge.

Unforgettable 7-Day Camping Safari – Highly Recommended!
An Unforgettable, Truly Authentic Safari Experience in Tanzania!
We have just completed a fantastic 7-day, 6-night camping safari in Tanzania, and we could not be happier with our decision!
The Camping Experience:
Camping added a bit of a challenge to the journey, but that is precisely what made the experience so authentic and raw. Falling asleep at night while hearing the sounds of wild animals right outside our tents made the stay truly magical and unique. Choosing the camping option also meant having our private chef, Sule, with us for the entire trip. Sule was absolute magic—he prepared every single meal for us daily, and without exception, every single meal was outstanding! He was continuously warm, accommodating, and attentive to any request.
Wildlife & Sightings:
The safari itself was beyond our wildest expectations. We were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, along with cheetahs (including adorable cheetah cubs!), lion cubs, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and countless species of birds. Virtually every animal we could have wished to see, we saw!
Guide & Crew:
Our driver and guide, Julius, was phenomenal. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and engaging, explaining everything about the fauna and landscape. Despite a few minor unexpected challenges along the road, Julius handled every situation with incredible composure and skill, ensuring our trip remained seamless and enjoyable.
Planning & Service:
Behind the scenes, Gwen was an absolute delight. She supported us throughout the entire booking and preparation process, always replying on WhatsApp within less than a day whenever we had doubts or questions.
Everything considered, the pricing was very fair and completely honest for the quality of service provided. We are 100% satisfied and wholeheartedly recommend both this camping safari and the tour operator!

Unforgettable 7-Day Camping Safari – Highly Recommended!
We just completed an amazing 7-day, 6-night camping safari in Tanzania.
From the planning phase, Gwen was extremely helpful and responsive, answering all our questions on WhatsApp within a day and keeping us well-supported throughout the process.
On the road, our guide Julius was top-notch—knowledgeable, friendly, and great at explaining everything. Even when minor challenges came up during the trip, he handled them smoothly and ensured we had the best possible experience.
A special shoutout to our chef, Sule, who was absolutely incredible! He cooked delicious meals every single day and was always super accommodating and friendly.

We had an unforgettable Safari Trip
We had an absolutely breathtaking 8-day safari with Max. From the very beginning, while planning our trip with Norina and Gwen, we were impressed by their outstanding service and flexibility.
Max made this journey truly unforgettable. He has an incredible amount of knowledge about the animals, plants, and everything surrounding the safari experience. Every single day, he was eager to show us something new and make each game drive unique.
We saw everything we had hoped for and even more. Max always listened to our individual wishes. Even if we only casually mentioned that it would be amazing to see lions that day, finding lions immediately became his mission—and he always succeeded.
He is incredibly friendly, kind, and funny, and spending time with him was a real pleasure. The food at the lodges as well as the lunch served during our game drives was always excellent.
We would highly recommend Serengeti Wakanda to everyone and would choose them again without hesitation for any future safari.

7-Day Classic Northern Circuit
We did the 7-day Northern Circuit Classic Safari with Serengeti Wakanda in June 2026. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and I would recommend. From the beginning, Gwen was easy to work with and extremely responsive compared to a few other companies we were looking at. Airport pickup and our day in Arusha was smooth. The actual safari itself was unforgettable. Our guide, Penuel, was amazing at listening to what our priorities were and finding animals. We saw leopards nearly every day, ate breakfast with a lion pride completely alone, and found a group of hunting cheetahs.
I will say the low light of our trip was our stay at the newly opened Lala Salama (owned by Wakanda). The food was disappointing compared to other lodges, but the biggest issue was that they made us switch rooms on our second night to accommodate a large group. After a long day in the car, we were actively getting ready to shower when an employee came by and forced us into another room. This completely defeated the point of staying several nights at the same place to prevent the pain of repacking and unpacking daily. They tried to make it sound like it was for our benefit as the new room was slightly nicer, but considering we were leaving at 5:30am the next morning there was zero advantage to us switching rooms. I understand Lala is a new camp and is having growing pains, but this type of service is unacceptable for the amount of money we paid.
