Best week of my life!
5/5

Bartho and the team at Serengeti Wakanda are so attentive and go out of their way to make your Safari as memorable as possible.

I joined a 5-day group safari and instantly bonding with my “safari family”. We made up a mini United Nations coming from Australia, Finland, Israel, Switzerland and Tanzania.

Our guide Mohamed was fun and friendly and clearly and experienced guide and driver helping us to spot 4/5 Big Five. Our cook Dullah made more food than any of us could eat! You wouldn’t believe what he can create with little to no equipment (inc. freshly baked bread with every meal!)

I would recommend Serengeti Wakanda to anyone and everyone looking at going on safari in Tanzania in search of a life-changing experience.

Fun and efficient safari adventure
5/5

Had a great experience with Serengeti Wakanda over the course of our 5 day Safari. The guide (Simba) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the animals - and made a point to drive out of his way to take us to further flung areas where we had a better chance of spotting wildlife. Luckily we saw all of the big 5 among other things.

I opted for the camping safari which was fine - the tents are comfortable enough and the campsites give you an opportunity to really be in the middle of the wildlife. also if you do the camping safari you will have Suleimani as your cook (he makes amazing food and is generally a great guy).

Tl;DR - Service was great, we saw a bunch of animals, everything was as advertised. 10/10 would recommend.

Unique experience with the 5 day safari
5/5

I booked my safari in advance and had a lot of questions for Bartho (managing director) very easily via email and / or Whatsapp.
Since I am traveling alone, everything should be well prepared. And it was! Picking up in Kilimanjaro late in the evening was not a problem either. As promised, Bartho personally waited for me at the airport exit and took me to my hotel.
In consultation with me there was a change of plan and I started the next day.
We went to Manyara. Moody, the guide, showed us the most beautiful parts of the park. We saw a very large group of elephants, giraffes, monkeys, buffalos far away from other vehicles.
The next day I went to the Serengeti for two days. Our guide Elly and Koch Michael accompanied us. The trip to the Serengeti was breathtaking. Past thousands of wildebeests and zebras (great migration). In the most adverse weather and road conditions, Elly not only showed his driving skills. He had an incredible amount of knowledge about the national park and its visitors. No question was too much. We learned a lot about animal behavior. since he is a very experienced guide, he obviously knew places that nobody else knows. He could smell big cats.
I enjoyed every second with both. He was a very careful, thoughtful, calm radiating guide. While a large number of other vehicles got stuck in the mud, he maneuvered us through all the giant mud areas with the necessary patience.
Camping is in the middle of the Serengeti on campsites with showers and toilets. Definitely think of toilet paper! (Elly helped us out with enough paper) There are lockers and charging options for all technical devices. At night the animals came to the tents.
Finally, we went to the Ngorongoro crater. What a facility and view, not to mention the sunset.
In the evening there are countless buffalos between the tents and grazing.
There is a power strip in the car so that the battery can never run out ;-)
There is water as much as you want and the food is always prepared. Lunch is served in the middle of the Serengeti from the bonnet with a view of zebra herds. Special requests are also taken into account! Veggie and gluten free were absolutely no problem!
Overall, I was able to see the BIG Five and so much more. This experience will always remain in my memory.
Thanks to Bartho, Elly, Michael

WAKANDA FOREVER!
5/5

We booked our trip to Tanzania through Serengeti Wakanda Tours and Safaris. our contact Bartho was super attentive and helpful, he responded to all our questions and on top of that, he came to the airport to pick us up the day before our Safari.

Our guide, Costa Simba was the highlight of our trip, this man knows everything about Tanzania. He was so knowledgeable not only in explaining the wildlife of the parks we visited, but also the history, social and cultural life of Tanzania. He was also really good in spotting animals which made us see all the big 5.

The accommodations they chose for us during safari exceeded our expectations. They all had friendly staff and their food was amazing. My friends and I liked the Ngorongoro forest lodge more.

Wakanda went above and beyond to serve us with bottles of wine and beers which came as a surprise, and we really liked it.

I will 100% recommended these guys.
WAKANDA FOREVER! (I know you saw it coming)

6 day safari
5/5

We had an excellent experience on safari for 6 days. Chose Serengeti Wakanda because of the price, the included accommodation before and after safari and the airport transfer.
They met our dietary requirements and even provided sugar free soft drinks which was a last minute request.
The whole thing was well organised, from collection at the bus station to drop off at the airport.
Special mention to the chef Dullah, who thanks to his previous traning provided restaurant quality food throughout the safari, which was completely unexpected.

Awesome safari!
5/5

We did a 6 day safari tour that included Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and the Serengeti. The overall experience was amazing and Bartho and his team exceeded expectations. The safari package we chose was quite affordable and so the hotel at the start and end of the safari were fairly basic but definitely good value for the money. Our guide was Malisa and he was great. Friendly, fun, knowledgeable and just overall fantastic. While I am not sure how the animals we saw would compare to other trips at different times, we were blown away. Both by the sheer quantity as well as the quality. We were sleeping in tents for 3 nights and these were again fairly basic, but good value and added to the experience. Our cook was Jessi and he was also great. The food was mainly local influence from what we could tell and there was a lot of it. It was impressive what he managed to do on a camp stove. Bartho was very professional and great to deal with. Did everything that was agreed upon and was also full of knowledge about the local area. I would recommend this experience to everyone.

A safari of a lifetime!
5/5

We did the 5 day safari with Serengeti Wakanda Tours and had a safari of a lifetime! Everything worked out perfectly and exactly as planned. Bartho was our contact from Wakanda and from planning to payment and meeting in Arusha, there was no problem at all and Bartho was such a nice guy. During the 5 days on safari, our tour guide Malissa was always there for us, helped us whenever we needed a hand and gave us so much information about the land, people and animals we saw/met in our trip. Also Jesse, a cook, was with us the whole time and did an awesome job!
I just can recommend Serengeti Wakanda Tours and can just give positive Feedback. Thanks for an amazing experience and such a great time out in the Serengeti!

Perfect Safari ! Thank you :)
5/5

It's a great experience that the Serengeti Wakanda Tours & Safaris offered us for 5 days. We were delighted without having to worry about anything. And thanks to Simba, our passionate guide about his job, we learned a lot about fauna and flora. We even observed the famous "Big Five" !
The organization of the stay was perfect, and the employees of the company always available. We were even upgraded for two nights in lodges. Dullah, our cooking chef, made us absolutely delicious meals. And Bartho, the manager, helped us a lot for the rest of our trip, with a wonderful day including the Materuni waterfall, the coffee plantation and the Kikuletwa hot springs.
We therefore recommend Serengeti Wakanda Tour without hesitation !
