Wonderful Experience!!!
As my husband and I are looking though the pictures we took on our Gilmag Safari we are still in awe from our wonderful safari experience. Only in our dreams did we think that we could see the wildlife in the national parks that we traveled to in Tanzania (Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti). Our eyes will never see the same way again!!! Lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, hippos, crocks, buffalos, a multitude of birds, and the Serengeti Migration!!! So many beautiful scenes, landscapes and sunsets!!!
A big THANK YOU to Mary, Gilbert, and of course Nickson our safari guide. The planning of this safari was easy and Mary worked with us to customize our trip to fit our budget. The Land Cruiser safari vehicle was comfortable without any mechanical problems... everything was flawless and not even an hiccup in the itinerary. The lodges and camps were amazing and more than what we expected. The food was plentiful and delicious.
I would highly recommend Gilmag Safaris if you are planning a safari trip to Africa. It will be a journey of a life time and one that we will never forget!!!

Professional and fun
MEMORABLE TANZANIA AND ZANZIBAR HOLIDAY.
We booked our safari to Tanzania and Zanzibar with Mary from Gilmag Safaris couple of months before we came to Tanzania. Mary was really helpful. She helped us to plan day by day program and was very flexible to edit and make changes according to our needs and budget.
Tanzania as a country is amazing, we felt really safe, the scenery is beautiful and seeing giraffes trek by during sunset at Kubu Kubu Lodge is a memory of a lifetime.
Our guide, Gilbert was the best. He made sure we saw everything exciting. Our highlight was the mother leopard with her cub, what a sight! Zanzibar was equally amazing – 5* accommodation with excellent food. Kudos to Gold Zanzibar. We ended up having a truly positive and memorable trip.

AMAZING TANZANIA SAFARI
We spent 7 days in Tanzania on our first international trip as boyfriend and girlfriend. It was amazing! At first, it seemed too expensive, but afterwards, we realized how much value we got out of it and how much we were able to see and learn with our guide who knew exactly where to take us and pretty much was a Tanzania encyclopedia for that matter.
By the time we landed at the airport, our tour guide, Nickson was already waiting in the arrivals area with the sign. We had a free day before our tour started and Gilmag Safaris provided a full day, private tour of Arusha City. Every pickup was on time and effortless. Everyone spoke clear English and was easy to understand.
What an experience!!! Great culture. Great experience. But what made it so enjoyable and such a great experience is Mary. She owns the company and serves you like no other can. Nice, outgoing, modern safari vehicle and great service. You are safe and secure with this company.
Overall, we had a great experience; the wonderful sights and sounds of Ngorongoro and Serengeti Parks. Best customer service I've experienced in a very long time. 100% recommended!

Excellent service
My friends and I had the most amazing trip in Tanzania. We were 7 of us, traveling to Tanzania for the first time. We had 11 days bush to beach adventure, and it was the best experience ever.

Amazing safari in Tanzania
Our eyes, our minds, our hearts have been changed forever after a safari in Tanzania. We had an experience of a lifetime and I have Mary and Gilbert to thank. They worked with us every step of the way in planning an itinerary, reserving hotels, and even the cultural tours that we were very interested in. The guide Hamza was awesome!!! Very knowledgeable about the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti and very patient. He found the Big 5 for us and we were up close and personal with these beautiful creatures. I can wait to return to Tanzania and my next safari!!!

Amazing Safari with Gilmag
Myself and my husband booked with Gilmag for our honeymoon. We were picked up from Kilimanjaro and then travelled from there to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manayara. It was such an amazing experience! The Gilmag team - Mary and Nickson, were so exceptional. Mary's communication was clear and detailed from the beginning giving confidence that everything was well planned. Nickson, our, tour guide was so knowledgable and dedicated to making our safari experience exceptional, which it was. Amazing Safari experience in Tanzania
The period prior to the booking of our trip was a real struggle as we couldn't decide the right tour operator to travel with, since there are so many offers but without guarantee. I inquired about the safari and received a very detailed and encouraging reply from Mary. She was very detailed and precise. Gilmag Safaris was very accommodating and worked to ensure I had the itinerary I asked for. Mary was very helpful and accommodating with our changing schedules.
We arrived in Tanzania the day international travel resumed after multiple reschedules. I did a 7 day private safari in Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Nickson was my guide. He was knowledgeable, entertaining, and lots of fun! Nickson has an eagle eye to see unique animals and the big cats! He loves what he does!
I highly recommend Nickson, and Gilmag Safaris team. We had the time of our lives.

Organized and reliable adventure of a lifetime
We traveled with Gilmag Safaris in Tanzania for our honeymoon. We had the best experience possible working with them! Mary was helpful and responsive right from the start. We did the bush to beach safari where we got to game drive around three different areas before ending with a few relaxing days in Zanzibar. All our accommodations were clean and comfortable with fantastic food. Our guide/driver spoke fluent English (and Italian). He was so knowledgeable about the wild life and local culture. He used his expertise about the area and the radio to make sure we got to see everything we wanted to see! Gilmag Safaris has excellent communication through email and WhatsApp and designs the best trips to the most incredible places.

The Service offered exceeded our high expectations!
My wife and I had been planning this trip for years and finally took the leap. Gilbert and Mary were absolute delight and the level of service, thought and care they have put into their company is second to none. Everything was thoroughly explained to us before the trip via email and when we arrived we were made to feel highly welcome. Mary customized our trip based on what was important. Tarangire, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater are not to be missed!! We stayed in a combination of lodges and tented camps and the accommodation provided a great variety of food. In Tarangire National Park, we stayed at Tarangire Safari Lodge, a beautiful spot overlooking the river. In Serengeti we stayed at The Hippo Trails Camp and at Ngorongoro Lion's Paw Lodge in Ngorongoro Conservation Area; all with breathing views and excellent customer service.
Our Driver Nickson was exceptional in his knowledge and his enjoyment of being with his clients. Nickson is an extremely experienced guide and aa great person with real sense of humor. His knowledge of the trails and animals cannot be matched. Our 8 days with Gilmag Safaris, was nothing shot of everything we had wanted . We came on the trip with high expectations and our expectations were greatly exceeded.

Well organised and responsible.
My fiance and I booked the all inclusive VIP Package. After getting some initial information, and after many comparisons with other recommended Safari Tours Companies, I chose Gilmag Safaris. The staff is very knowledgeable and the best part was Vivian who was helping us craft our trip was very responsive- usually emailing back within 30 minutes or less.
On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport we were warmly welcomed and driven to our hotel at the foot of kilimanjaro mountain. Our resort was all inclusive and we had nothing to worry about.
The places chosen to stay were terrific- the Camp/Lodges are right in there in the most pristine and central regions of the National parks, and very-well maintained and full of the most delicious food and terrific hospitality. Great choices made by Gilmag Safaris!!!
My favourite, being the Ngorongoro National Park with its evergreen trees and stunning breathtaking views. The other places were also really great. We had an enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guide, Gilbert who taught us so much about the parks, animals and the birds. What a fantastic time we had! If this is your one and only opportunity to visit Tanzania, don't even hesitate about paying extra for safari because it is absolutely worth it.
As a conclusion I would say that I strongly recommend Gilmag Safaris. They are fabulous company; well-run, and clearly cares about customers and their satisfaction.
