Such an Incredible Experience
5/5

I absolutely loved my experience with Gorilla Tours! I scheduled my trip very last minute and they were very accommodating and great about answering all of my questions. The safaris were so incredible and it was such a cool experience getting to see so many animals; lions, giraffes, antelope, zebras and so much more! Getting the experience to hike and see the gorillas brought tears to my eyes because I never imagined I would find myself having the opportunity to do that! I loved getting to drive through the country of Uganda and our guide was so knowledgeable and shared so much information about the country, the land, the people, everything about it! As a solo traveller of only 20 years old, I was a little nervous about embarking on the journey but, Gorilla Tours was great about making me feel safe and well looked after. If you are searching for an overall amazing experience, Gorilla Tours is the way to go! And if you are heading to Uganda, make sure to ask for Ronnie, he is the best!!

A wonderful Ugandan experience
5/5

Thank you gorilla tours for organising such a fantastic Ugandan holiday. Safe to say it was a holiday of a lifetime. Great accommodation all reasonably priced; a safe, knowledgeable driver and of course the beauty of Uganda. Seeing the Chimps and Gorillas is something everyone should do once and use Gorilla Tours if you can.

2 weeks roudtrip including gorillas ans chimps visits, and many other safaris (driving or boating)
5/5

Everything was OK. No problem at all, organization was perfect. We much appreciated lodges and camps in the nature. Our driver (and guide as well) did a very good job. We have seen a large amount of animals : gorillas, chimps, cobs, other monkeys, buffaloes, elephants, lions, leopards, hippos and crocodiles, birds... and even the very rare shoebill (lucky we were!). Do not miss boating on the delta in Murchison Falls Park, and on Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth Park. Regarding gorillas and chimps we have been well impressed by the excellent organization of UWA (Uganda Wildlife Authorities). If you have time, do some pedestrian safari as we did in M'Buro. You can faithfully ask any question to Gorillas Tour, that kindly and quickly answers, thanks to Virgo and Violet.

Experience in the heart of Afrika
4/5

1. The boat trip to the Murchison waterfalls could be combined with the hike. The guide with the vehicle would have to pick up the group at the top of the cases. The return trip was too long and too dull.
2. The boat trip into the delta should take place with a suitable boat and not with a fishing boat. For the duration of time, a suitable seat is mandatory.
3. An additional day could be scheduled in Murchison N.P.
4. The drive from Fort Murchison to the next accomodation, chimpazee guesthouse was too long. An extra night is absolutely necessary.
5. One day may be canceled in Queen Elizabeth N.
6. Crater Bay Cottages should no longer be approached. The cleanliness in the wet area of the rooms used by our group was catastrophic. Due to fungal attack and pollution the wet area was only conditionally usable. We were not showered. The more regrettable, because the accommodation with a few small things can be graded. Cleanliness in the accommodations is a must.
7. In only two overnight accommodation was possible with credit card.
8. It should therefore be possible to book half-board or full-board accommodation.

A very special thanks to Ronnie, who was very hard-working. Great compliment and very warm greetings. The attached pictures I ask to transfer to him.

Thank you for an extraordinary trip and cordial greetings to Uganda

The Experience was great, but payment was an issue
3/5

The communications from the staff was excellent, the service was good and the trip lived up to our expectations. However, we expected to pay by credit card, but when we got to the lodge, they expected cash. They demanded that we use all our cash to pay for accommodation, so we did not have money left for tips and buying any mementos. The transport and permits were paid in advance, which was not an issue. We were not informed in advance that there won't be credit card facilities available.

Amazing experience thanks to Gorilla Tours
5/5

I found Gorilla Tours after doing some online research, I contacted for information & received a very prompt detailed response so decided to book. The booking process was all via email & very easy. Virgo was my main point of contact & was happy to help with all my questions & organised every detail of the trip.
When we arrived in Uganda we met our guide/ driver James. James is excellent & made our trip so memorable, he is eagle eyed & able to spot & identify wildlife from long distances, he has great knowledge about birds also.
All accommodations were great, the staff looked after us so well.

We had the best of experiences, I can see why Uganda is known as the pearl of Africa. I would happily recommend Gorilla Tours

5/5

We had a great time and the entire trip was well planned and executed by Gorilla tours. Our guide was knowledgable and very efficient. I loved our accommodations - all of them had tons of character and ambiance. The service was great as well as the locations. We wanted to make a very last minute change and our guide was very helpful and willing to do this. And it was a great value! I have no hesitation in recommending Gorilla Tours.

Way exceeded our expectations!
5/5

Communication was thorough and timely. We were asked about adding a fourth person to our party and that worked out wonderfully and cost us less per person. The driver was first of all an extraordinary driver. We were in good hands. It's a very long 9 hour drive from Entebbe. Our driver was pleasant, answered all our questions, and was tolerant of our 'tourist ways and attitudes'. Definitely an under-employed young man. He stopped by the roadside so I could buy Ugandan grown tea. There was an informative introduction on the day of the hike. Even so I was not prepared for the magnitude of what we were doing. We stood quietly, 10 feet away from a gorilla family having their breakfast! We had 3 guides who knew the gorillas by name. We had porters, which I did not expect. The climb was steep. My husband said the Ugandans do not believe in switch backs. We had an outstanding trip from start to finish.
