⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An unforgettable 5-star safari experience!
Our 4-day safari with Serengeti African Tour Company was absolutely incredible from beginning to end. From the very first contact with our sales agent, Linah, until the moment we were dropped off at the airport, everything was perfectly organized and exceeded our expectations.
Linah was always available to answer all of our questions before the safari and happily made every adjustment we requested. She tailored the entire itinerary to our needs and wishes, making the planning process smooth and stress-free.
Our guide, God Maarifa, deserves more than 5 stars—I would give him 10 stars if I could! His knowledge, experience, and passion for wildlife made our safari truly unforgettable. He knew exactly where to find the animals and always gave us as much time as we wanted to observe them. Amazingly, we saw four of the Big Five on our very first day! He shared fascinating facts about the animals, their behavior, and their habitats, making every game drive both exciting and educational. He was always punctual, professional, friendly, and genuinely cared about making our experience the best it could be.
One thing that really stood out compared to other safari companies was the food. Instead of simple lunch boxes with sandwiches, we enjoyed freshly prepared, proper lunches every day. This was a wonderful touch, especially because every meal we had in Tanzania was delicious.
The accommodations were exactly as promised—or even better. One of the highlights was spending a night in a tented camp, where we could hear buffalo grazing just outside our tent during the night. It was such a unique and unforgettable experience that made us feel truly immersed in nature.
I would recommend Serengeti African Tour Company 100% to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania. If I come back one day to witness the Great Migration, I will definitely choose them again.

Excellent Private Family Safari with a Fantastic Team
We had an amazing 3-day private family safari with Serengeti African Tours, visiting Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara. Everything was perfectly organized from the initial booking until the very end of the trip.
A special thank you to Evaness, who handled our booking professionally and efficiently, and to our guide, Gift, who was outstanding throughout the safari. He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Thanks to him, we saw an incredible variety of wildlife and learned a lot about Tanzania, its nature, and its culture.
We stayed at Suricata Boma Lodge, which was an excellent choice. The lodge enjoys a spectacular location above Lake Manyara, offering breathtaking views and unforgettable sunsets. The accommodation was comfortable and spacious, the food was very good, the swimming pool was a welcome place to relax after a day of game drives, and the staff were genuinely friendly and attentive.
The parks themselves are magnificent and need little introduction. The wildlife, landscapes, and overall experience exceeded our expectations and created memories that will stay with our family forever.
One suggestion for future travelers: at Lake Manyara, we chose the traditional game drive, which was enjoyable, but after spending two full days in a jeep, I think a walking safari would have been a refreshing alternative and a great way to experience the park from a different perspective. This park is also more modest that Tarangire and Ngorongore, so walking safari would be a great distinguisher.
Another point worth mentioning is the flexibility of Serengeti African Tours. Travelers should not hesitate to ask for adjustments to the itinerary. The team is very accommodating and, especially with private tours, almost anything can be tailored to individual preferences and interests.
Overall, this was a fantastic family adventure, professionally organized and offering excellent value for money. We highly recommend Serengeti African Tours and would especially like to thank Evaness and Gift for making our Tanzanian safari such a memorable experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Unforgettable Serengeti Experience
Our tour organiser, Namayani organised a very well planned 9 days Serengeti safari. Her communication prior to, during and after the safari was excellent. She was very good with responding all our queries timeously. She booked very good to excellent accommodation. Her service was excellent. She was a very reliable, knowledgeable tour organiser who also offered great advice on internal flights.
Our professional guide Hatibu(Ally), is a very experienced and well-respected safari guide. He went out of his way to ensure that we had a very memorable and unique safari experience. He was very patient and knowledgeable. In addition to mammals, he could identify various plants, trees, flowers and birds. He also has a very good historical background of the Serengeti and the surrounding areas. there was not a dull moment with Ally. he ensured that we were well taken care of all the time. We fully recommend him as the first choice for a tour guide.
The tour was reasonable value for money.
In general, the tour was excellent and unforgettable.

Book with this operator you won’t regret it!
We had the most amazing time with Go Serengeti African Tours. Our guide Peter Mmary…. Where do I even begin. Going on a safari is not just about seeing wild animals. It’s about experiencing wild eastern Africa but feeling safe and cared for at every step. Peter didn’t just guide us to see incredible animals (which we we did - we saw 7 leopards and 3 rhinos plus the big 5 plus 3 river crossings in only 4 days) - but he also took such good care of us and taught us so much about the animals, African culture, and the Swahili language. It was an immersive experience. He’s also very warm, kind, and has a great sense of humor. When we come back and take our family, we’ll request Peter by name.
A big bonus is that Peter is very passionate about photography, so he knows how to position you for the best angles, shots, and light. He actually taught my wife how to use her camera better!
If you’re planning a safari - choose this operator and request Peter, if he’s available. Also, this is very important. Regarding seeing animals - have low expectations and “let nature reveal itself to you” as Peter would say. We were EXTREMELY lucky to see all the animals and crossings we did in 4 days. Part of that was Peter’s instincts. But another part was pure luck. If you go into the experience with too high of expectations, you’ll miss the magic of just being there.
Also, most of the magic happens in the early hours, so if Peter (or whoever your guide is) says let’s leave at 5:30 AM, trust him.

Laurence was kind and always busy finding game
We spent three days on Safari in the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater and thanks to Laurence' tireless effort we were able to see all big five and countless other animals.
Dennis, our cook, cared excellently for our wellbeing too so we could enjoy the intense and exciting three days. I can recommend the duo Laurence and Dennis to everyone who wants to do a Safari in Tansania.

The most magical and unforgettable experience
We have had the most amazing safari with Serengeti African Tours. This was a long saved for trip we are 3 generations and 13 of us in total. It took a great deal of planning and Inviolata helped with the full booking process and was on help on whats app for what seemed like any time of the day or night. When we arrived we had 2 jeeps and our guides were Abu & Mathayo - they were simply amazing, their knowledge was incredible and we saw everything - big 5 ✅️. This was a mid range safari but felt like luxury. The accommodation surpassed all expectation each one different from the next. The tented in Lodge in the Serengeti was the coolest and scariest place I will ever stay in my life. This company is a small, independent, Tanzanian run business so please seriously consider for your safari. We have had an unforgettable experience and memories to last a lifetime. Made our experience amazing
We really enjoyed our safari tour, this was an experience of a lifetime. Our tour guide Enock, was really great ensuring we saw as much as possible and helping us get as close as possible. He worked with us with our schedule when we wanted to be picked up a little later, and dropped back earlier, he also assisted us with getting to a pharmacy. Nothing was too much effort. The safari was unforgettable and amazing memories taken from this. Thank you Enock for making our experience so great, we will never forget you!
