A great adventure
Our tour leader Bruce was fantastic, very helpful, energetic and full of information.

A fabulous adventure
We had a wonderful experience during our short trip to Rwanda and Uganda.
Our trip leader Bruce was excellent, right from the start he was waiting for us at the airport and spent the rest of our trip making sure we had an enjoyable experience. His knowledge of both countries was great, he was a safe driver over the many hours of travel we had and just overall a lovely person.
The itinerary was good however further information on expenses would be useful eg. Tipping information/standard costs for gorilla tour guide, trackers and porters etc. I would recommend doing some research before arriving, we were not expecting and hadn’t planned to tip trackers in the middle of the Bwindi national park.
Accommodation was good, clean and meals to a high quality. We especially loved the stay at Bweza before our gorilla trek.
I wouldn’t hesitate recommending this company to friends and family.

Simon was an amazing tour guide. Always full of interesting facts about wild life and always answered any questions we asked. When with Simon, don't even think about killing a tsetsefly because it's all part of the wild. 🤗. Anyway, Lulu safaris organized everything to the dot, and all we had to do was enjoy nature and ourselves. We also had children with us and their needs were catered for to the dot.

Murshison falls visit was the best experience ever. The game drives l, boat cruize and reaching the top of the falls left a lasting memory.

We had an even better experience than we could have imagined.
We booked our gorilla trekking experience in Uganda with Lulu Safari, including one night at a lodge. We booked the trip without seeing much information or many photos beforehand, so we didn’t really know what to expect. In the end, the experience was even better than we could have imagined.
Our tour guide, Bruce, was absolutely amazing. He guided us incredibly well, made sure we had everything we needed, and made the entire trip as smooth and enjoyable as possible. We truly didn’t feel like we were missing anything.
The gorilla trekking itself was very well organised, and we were lucky enough to see seven gorillas up close. It was an incredible and unforgettable day that we will always remember.
Everything was organised down to the smallest detail by Lulu Safari. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

I honestly couldn’t have wished for a better safari experience. The whole trip was amazing — the wildlife, the accommodations, the itinerary, and all the experiences along the way. But what made the biggest difference was my guide.
He was truly exceptional. You could tell from the very beginning that he has a real passion for what he does. He always gave his absolute best, while never being pushy or making you feel rushed. He was funny, easy-going, and always in a positive mood, which made the whole trip feel relaxed and enjoyable.
His knowledge was incredible — not only about the animals and wildlife, but also about the parks, the surroundings, and Uganda in general. He seemed to spot animals from miles away and always made sure I had the best possible view and didn’t miss anything. He also knew all the little shortcuts and alternative routes, which often saved us time and made getting around much easier.
What I appreciated most was the balance he created. We had so many great conversations and laughs, but he also understood when I wanted some quiet time and gave me the space to simply enjoy the experience.
He genuinely cared about whether I was comfortable, having a good time, and getting the most out of every day. You could really feel that he wasn’t just doing his job — he was sharing something he truly loves.
The accommodations throughout the safari were also excellent, and the whole programme was very well organised and varied.
Looking back, I can honestly say the safari was unforgettable. And while the incredible wildlife and beautiful places made it special, I think the guide made it even more memorable. Having someone so passionate, knowledgeable, kind, and genuinely enjoyable to spend the days with makes such a huge difference.

An authentic experience in Uganda with Lulu Safaris
I started getting excited about the trip way before arriving in Uganda. Elvis was very helpful planning this trip. He was available to discuss option and questions and help me prepare. We did a 12 day trip around the country.
We had a bonus of two guides. Marc was the main guide and Joel was a trainee guide. Marc was a wonderful source of information on the sights and life in Uganda and Joel was a great driver keeping us safe. They were lovely company and calmly dealt with any challenges that arose.
Uganda is a special trip. It has a variety of wildlife and allows you to get as close as possible to the animals in their natural habitat. People are wonderful and friendly.
Hundreds of stories unfold just by looking out the window while driving through villages which I have carried home with me.
I would definitely recommend Lulu Safaris to anyone planning a trip to Uganda.

Ten days in Uganda with Lulu Safaris — flawless. Ask for Simon Peter, he's exceptional.
I'd been wanting to see mountain gorillas for years and Uganda finally happened this summer. Ten days, five parks, Lulu Safaris. What I didn't expect was how much of the trip would come down to the person driving. Simon Peter spotted things through the windscreen that I couldn't find even after he pointed at them. He never rushed us, never seemed tired of the questions, and handled roads I wouldn't have attempted in a tank. The gorillas were the headline, obviously, but the Kazinga Channel boat and the walking safari at Mburo were quietly just as good. Simon Peter is the reason I'd book with Lulu again.
