Professional and a great guide
We went on a wonderful two-day tour in Tsavo East with Steve and Richards Safaris. Booking in advance from home went perfectly. After we sent an enquiry via the website, Steve got in touch with us via WhatsApp, professionally sorted out all the details and arranged the lodge booking for us. We were able to pay the deposit for the safari easily after arriving in Kenya. Steve even came to our hotel to sort this out. On the day of the safari, Steve picked us up on time in the morning and introduced us to Solomon, our driver and guide for the safari. Solomon was a brilliant companion. What followed were two unforgettable days. We felt very safe at all times. Solomon is a very good driver and the jeep was in good condition. We saw lots of animals; Solomon knows the area very well, was able to answer all our questions about nature and patiently gave us plenty of time to observe the animals. We would book with Steve and Richards again.

I am so glad I chose this travel agency. I contacted Steve from the Czech Republic before my trip to Kenya, and he always responded immediately to all my messages and questions. We chose a one-day safari trip to Tsavo East. His service was reliable; the day before the safari, he even reminded us to arrange a breakfast pack with our hotel, and he picked us up right on time. We had a large, comfortable Jeep with a pop-up roof, and both food and drinks were provided. The journey there and back went smoothly, and the guides shared interesting information about the animals and communicated with each other via two-way radio, ensuring we saw just about everything possible. I definitely recommend them—especially considering the price, compared to other agencies that offer overpriced services. The safari was amazing! 😍

Amazing
We had a wonderful experience at the Tsavo East Safari. Especially because of the excellent service from Steve and his driver Evan’s Steve was very friendly, polite, attentive, and professional throughout. He made sure everything was taken care of and served us with a great attitude and a smile. His excellent customer service really made our experience enjoyable. There was no rush to move on. Highly recommended.
We also used Steve’s services to visit the Old Town and we got him to stop over where my wife spent her childhood

Thoughtful, knowledgeable, and great host
I cannot say enough good things about this safari! Steve was extremely communicative and clear as I was booking this safari from overseas. Ended up doing a one day in Tsavo East; the guide, Solomon, picked me up right on time. The jeep was in terrific condition and he was a superb driver on Mombasa’s difficult roads. We entered the park and he clearly knew the terrain well and mapped out a brilliant route We saw over a dozen different animals. He was highly knowledgeable about the wildlife, and was extremely patient, which paid off as the longer we waited in a spot, the more wildlife we would see. Five stars across the board. Amazing.

Flexible friendly excellent
We had the most amazing time on our family safari organised by Steve. The organisation was easy and efficient before the trip, Steve was always very responsive. Flexibility was given to our different start and drop off points (we did Malindi - Tsavo East - Tsavo West - Watamu) as well as working around the lodges we wanted to stay at. We travelled with our two kids who are 8 and 10 years old and they could not have loved it more! Our driver Solomon was absolutely incredible, he was patient and entertained all the kids’ questions about the wildlife and really tried to ensure they saw what they were most excited about from close up, from your lion pride to the cutest baby hippo in Mzima springs. He was always attentive to our rhythm while ensuring we stayed relatively on track time-wise. He has an eagle eye (or should I say giraffe eye!) for spotting hidden animals and by the end the kids were keen spotters too! Attention was given to every detail, e.g. the car was cleaned every night fresh for the next morning’s game drive including the windows and the floor, which did not go unnoticed! (Those small things make all the difference) The views, landscapes, wildlife and organisation all combined to make this an unforgettable experience for our family. Thank you so much Solomon and Steve!

Professional and correct
We had a truly wonderful safari with Steve & Richard Safari. I arranged everything with Steve, the agency owner, and he was professional, prompt, and courteous from the very start. Everything we agreed upon was honored, and the organization was excellent.
Our fantastic guide was Solomon; he knew exactly where to go, guided us patiently, and really made an effort to ensure we saw as many animals as possible. It was just the two of us, which was great because we enjoyed a completely private experience and could adjust the schedule to suit our preferences.
Over these four days, we saw an incredible number of animals—lions, a leopard, even a serval with cubs, hyenas, large herds of elephants, zebras, antelopes, and giraffes, as well as hippos, crocodiles, and many others. Each day brought something new and special. For us, this was a perfect safari and an experience we will certainly cherish for a long time.
During the safari, we stayed at Satao Camp, Kilaguni Serena Lodge, and Ol Tukai Lodge. All three places were excellent, but I want to give special praise to Satao Camp—the atmosphere, the natural surroundings, and the entire experience were truly special, making it one of the highlights of the whole trip.
We visited Tsavo East, Tsavo West, and Amboseli, and we truly enjoyed every part of the journey.
All in all, we are delighted that we chose Steve & Richard Safari. Thanks to Steve for the excellent organization and to the entire team for a wonderful experience. ❤️

We had a wonderful one-day safari in Tsavo East with Steve. He picked us up directly from our resort in Diani and was perfectly on time.
We saw many animals, including giraffes, elephants, zebras, gazelles, leopards, hippos and buffaloes. Steve and his colleague always stopped in the best spots for viewing and taking photos, and shared interesting facts about the animals and plants.
A fantastic experience and we highly recommend Steve for a Tsavo East safari!
A peaceful and amazing safari
Since our booking of the Safari the communication was clear and to the point.
Solomon, our driver for the five days was such a lovely guy. He sensed our wishes very well to explore the parks. E.g. We stayed for a long time watching a leopard closeby and then he arranged still the access to the Rhino sanctuary. Although we had some car issues, everything was solved as quickly as it could.
We would love to come back book a safari at steveandrichardssafari and we would ask for Solomon to driver us.
