An amazing 15-day safari with Meektrails!
My husband and I traveled with 2 friends for the first 9 days of our 15-day safari and then each couple travelled on their own for the remaining time in Kenya. Meektrails did a great job of facilitating our different travel needs and interests. During our 15-day safari we travelled to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Samburu and Ol Pajeta. It was amazing to see the diverse geography of the country! Each lodge and camp booked by Meektrails was excellent! The accommodations were clean and well cared for, the food was outstanding and the staff were always attentive, friendly and kind.
The itinerary Meektrails came up with ran smoothly and there were no issues experienced throughout our safari. Gadson did a great job curating the various destinations, their sequence, and the accommodations. The jeep was also quite new and in good condition.
A very special shout out has to go to our incredible guide Joseph Kariuki! He truly made our safari experience magical! He has eagle eyes and was able to spot animals and birds before we even noticed them! Joseph has encyclopedic knowledge of the animals, birds and plants of Kenya and was always open to answering our MANY questions. His professionalism, patience, kindness and willingness to be flexible and make adjustments to plans was very much appreciated. His driving was safe and we always felt secure in his hands. Joseph never rushed us when watching wildlife and ensured that we had the best opportunity for viewing. Joseph always made sure that the jeep was clean and prepared for each outing and looked out for our well being. Joseph shared information about Kenya and his own life that truly enhanced our experience and understanding of Kenya. We feel that we now have a friend in Kenya in Joseph! If you are planning a safari in Kenya, we highly recommend Joseph Kariuki!

Amazing safari experience
We absolutely loved our safari experience! Everything was exceptionally well organised by Valentine, and the whole trip ran smoothly from start to finish.
We were a group of 9 people travelling in two vehicles, and our guides, Peter and Lucas, were absolutely fantastic. They went above and beyond to help us spot as many animals as possible, were incredibly attentive, and did an outstanding job throughout the entire safari.
We had an amazing week, filled with unforgettable experiences and wonderful memories. To top it all off, Meektrails surprised us with an upgrade to an incredibly exclusive lodge for our final night in Maasai Mara. It was the perfect ending to an already incredible trip!
A huge thank you to the entire team for making everything so special. This was truly a memorable journey for all of us, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would highly recommend Meektrails to anyone planning a safari!

Everything we booked, delivered, and then some.
My family and I just finished a 7-day private safari with Meektrails covering Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Hell’s Gate, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara, and I’m extremely satisfied with how it all went.
Communication before the trip was excellent. Victor was responsive and answered every question directly, and they were happy to customize parts of the trip for us. From a smooth pickup onward, everything ran as described: we had the Land Cruiser we booked, and the full safari days were truly full days.
It turned out even better than we imagined, largely thanks to our guide, Anthony M. He combines natural instincts for wildlife with a great network among the other guides, and he was relentless about making sure our group got everything we came for. Several times he went above and beyond to get us the best photos and make sure we didn’t miss any of the animals. On our final day in the Mara we still hadn’t seen a leopard, the last of the Big Five, and he would not stop until he found one. I was also amazed by how well known and liked he was everywhere we went.
Our favorite stop was Ziwa Bush Lodge in Nakuru, and we love the connection between Meektrails and the lodge. While there, we chose to visit the orphanage the lodge supports, and it had a significant impact on all of us. We went to Kenya for the animals, but in the end it was the human connections that made the trip.
