Amazing
First of all, the entire planning and booking process with Alice Mora was excellent. She was always attentive to our requests and went above and beyond to tailor every aspect of the tour to our preferences. Communication was consistently smooth and efficient, despite the significant time difference.
Our game drive driver and tour guide in the Masai Mara, Alex, is truly a legend. You can immediately tell how well-known and respected he is by everyone. He has an incredible knowledge of the terrain and a deep understanding of the animals' behavior. We were always in the best possible position for wildlife sightings, especially lions, and he even managed to find a leopard, which is known to be one of the most difficult animals to spot in the area.
Overall, the experience was a perfect 10 out of 10.

The service from Morningstar during the second part of our trip in the Serengeti was exceptional. Our guide, Salim, was an essential part of making our experience so memorable. He took us to the best areas of the Serengeti and helped us truly experience everything the park has to offer.
Salim is incredibly patient, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable. He taught us so much about the Serengeti, its wildlife, and the ecosystem, making every game drive even more meaningful.
I highly recommend him, and if you’re traveling with Morningstar, I definitely recommend requesting Salim as your guide. He made our Serengeti experience unforgettable.

From the very beginning to the end, everything was absolutely perfect. This was truly the trip and experience of a lifetime! We chose this safari for our honeymoon, and it turned out to be the most unforgettable experience we could have wished for. We saw an incredible number of animals, and every game drive was breathtaking. A huge part of what made this safari so special was our guide, Timothy. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about his job. Incredible Journey Through Kenyan and Tanzanian Parks
My husband and I had the times of our lives on our 8 day tour going through Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater, and Ambrolesi. It was a fast paced trip but we enjoyed every minute of it! The drivers were absolutely outstanding (shoutout Willy, Salim and Augustine!). Not only are they incredibly skilled at navigating all types of terrain and extremely knowledgeable of all the different wildlife, their service was fantastic. The tour was worth every penny. They took care of or helped us with everything from transfers, to border crossings, to hotel check in’s and everything in between. We couldn’t have asked for a better first safari!

Exceptionally well organized, incredibly patient and responsive tour operator and outstanding guide
From start to finish, our experience with Morningstar Safaris was exceptional. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and our six-day safari through the North and Central Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater exceeded all of our expectations.
Alice, our tour operator, was a pleasure to work with. She took the time to understand our travel style and budget and created an itinerary that was perfect for us. Throughout the planning process, she was patient, responsive, and always happy to answer our questions about the itinerary and lodging options. During our 11-night trip through Tanzania—including Arusha, Safari, and Zanzibar—she checked in regularly and even resolved a minor accommodation issue for us quickly and seamlessly.
Jackson, our safari guide, was equally outstanding. His knowledge of the parks, wildlife, and birdlife was exceptional, and his expertise made every game drive unforgettable. Thanks to his determination, we were able to see and photograph an incredible variety of animals in their natural habitat, including black rhinos, cheetahs, and leopards. Time and again, just when we thought we would miss seeing an animal, Jackson somehow managed to find it.
What impressed us most was how Jackson went above and beyond when our independently booked flight to Zanzibar was unexpectedly delayed by five hours. Although it wasn't his responsibility, he helped us secure an earlier flight, saving the rest of our trip.
We highly recommend Morning Star Tours & Travel, especially Alice and Jackson. Their dedication, expertise, and exceptional service turned an incredible safari into a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and we would gladly travel with them again.

We greatly enjoyed our private tour with Morning Star. Communication with our consultant, Alice, was smooth, responsive, and professional from the very beginning. Exceptional service and great experience from start to finish!
We began exploring safari tour options about 8 months before we planned to travel. We got quotes from several different tour operators through SafariBookings.com, and we decided to choose Morning Star Tours & Travel because we really appreciated the professional and thorough communication we received with a detailed itinerary and clear cost breakdown - plus responses from Dennis were always very prompt!
Communication from the time of booking until our travel was also excellent. We had to change a few accommodations due to originals being fully booked, but that was no problem, and we ended up in fantastic places, with a mix of safari camps to lodges and resorts, but we appreciated having an option to choose.
Once we started our safari, our guide, Stephen, was a true professional and expert, sharing great facts on the wildlife and Kenyan culture during trips from one park to another and on our game drives. And he was always thorough and professional in answering our many questions, no matter how simple they might have been. While in the parks, Stephen knew how to navigate every square inch, and we were able to see some incredible animals, views, and landscapes! He was quick to spot different wildlife that we didn't even see, and gave us a brief description of each animal, which was a bonus! He was also a great driver in navigating the busy roads, and we always felt safe and secure.
