Another amazing trip with Morning Star Tours and Travel.
Morningstar Safaris has been wonderful to travel with, and this was actually our second safari with them. Across our two trips we’ve now visited four different national parks and were fortunate enough to see the entire Big Five, which was unforgettable. What really stands out is the professionalism and warmth of the team. Our guide, Willy, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about wildlife, always making sure we were in the right place at the right time while also taking time to explain what we were seeing. He was our guide last year too and continues to be amazing. Everything was seamlessly organized, from transportation to park logistics, so we could simply relax and enjoy the experience. If you’re looking for a safari company that is reliable, friendly, and truly committed to creating memorable wildlife experiences, Morningstar Safaris is outstanding. We wouldn’t hesitate to travel with them again and hope we will a third time!

Dream come true
It has been a dream of mine to visit Kenya and do a safari for as long as I could remember. I've always watched nature documentaries and have a huge love for animals. Being able to see all these amazing creatures (lions, zebras, giraffes, warthogs, forest hogs, mongoose, hyenas, hippos, rhinos, jackels, several kinds of antelope, water bucks, buffalo, wildebeasts, flamingos and no many different kinds of birds all within their natural habitats and not within a zoo or exotic ranch as been truely amazing. Mr, Steven, my guide for the trip, was veey knowledgeable and would give me all sorts of facts about the animals as well as the pointing out the way of life for Kenyans and the Masaai people. It was very humbling to be able to experience others live and work the fields and trade with their neighbors. The sense of community was strong in Kenya. All of the accommodations were very nice and comfortable and the food was delicious. As a somewhat picky eater (so I've been told) I typically struggle eating in other countries, and Kenya was a place that I had zero issues. The hospitality is unmatched as well by everyone I met. I'm glad I chose Morningstar for making me feel safe, welcome and for giving me a great adventure I will remember for a lifetime. The value for the tour was also very reasonable for everything that was included, just be sure to bring plenty of cash for tipping (for bell hops and waiters and don't forget the drivers), as well as extra space in your luggage for all the temptational shopping you might do (just about everywhere accepted cards as well). Hope to do another safari one day!

Everything we wished for and more.
Amazing experience.
They came to pick us up at the airport and the fun began.
Julius and Joysharon were ready for all of our questions (first timers) and the first interaction comforted us in our decision to pick them.
My friend originally reccommended it to us.
First day was rough due to hard rain, we took the car and turned back within 20 minutes. (We heard Stories of car getting stuck and that could only be rescued 4h later). Please dont push it and listen to your driver they have the best knowledge and advienne possible.
We were sad to go back to the hotel (for which we were upgraded to luxury amenities) but the vibe and set-up of it were perfect. Activities and Food are great and there's a lot of options.
Our driver Julius told us next get ready earlier as he would make up for the time lost and we would have a big day of game drives. The following day we went from masai mara to Lake Nakuru to another amazing hotel.
In 2 days we saw everything from the big five to most other animal possible. Julius's knowledge and patience were on point (we waited nearly 30 min for a leopard to get out of its tree and he came all the way to the car to drink water from a puddle).
After talking to other people picking other compagnies and even friends that have been on multiple safaris, they didnt have the chance to experience this.
We also got to see a lioness waiting for sunset to enjoy her meal (buffalo).
We were lucky but also well surrounded by this amazing team. Joysharon checked up on us daily to make sure this experience was up to our expectations.

Incredible!
Our safari in the Masai Mara was unforgettable thanks to our exceptional guide, Rono. His knowledge of wildlife and tracking skills led us to incredible sightings — including four of the Big Five — all while ensuring our safety and comfort.
He positioned the vehicle perfectly for photos, never rushed the experience, and shared meaningful insights about the ecosystem and local culture. Professional, attentive, and respectful of the land, he made the trip truly extraordinary. I highly recommend Rono and Morning Star to anyone visiting the Mara.

It was all perfect!
The tour was top, well organised in every detailed, the tour operator was always in contact with us and the driver/guide has been excellent in support/drive us to see the big Five in the safari (it is not sure to see them), very friendly and always on time. I will contact them for the next trip.

Fantastic safari with a great guidr
We booked a 5day safari for our family with 2 big kids. The communication with Dennis during booking processwas great, he is responsive and very flexible. We were happy with the itinerary, the booked lodges. Our guide, Alex was very knowledgeable, was always looking for the best spots to view the animals. We saw the big 5 as well, and generally the whole safari was a life time-experience. Will definitely come back, and have our next safari with Morningstar. Do not hesitate to book 😊!!

Excellent top to bottom
This was an incredible experience. Driver was friendly, knowledgeable and always made an extra effort to find incredible spotting opportunities. It is incredible how many animals we were lucky enough to see and remarkable how close up they often are to the road. The 4x4 was comfortable and capable. We really enjoyed the open roof - getting to stand and see the animals with unobstructed views. Accommodation was luxurious and the food delicious. Would recommend without hesitation.

Professional, dedicated guide who gave us unforgettable wildlife sightings.
We had an absolutely incredible safari experience thanks to our guide Alex. From day one, Alex was punctual, professional, and extremely dedicated to giving us the best possible wildlife sightings.
Alex drove very steadily and safely throughout the trip, which made us feel comfortable at all times — especially on long game drives. What truly impressed us was how hard he worked to locate animals. Alex was constantly communicating with other guides, sharing information and tracking movements to maximize our chances.
Thanks to his effort and experience, we even witnessed two cheetah hunts and even saw lion cubs despite a number of other impressive animals — moments we will never forget.
Beyond his skills in the field, Alex was also very respectful of our privacy, never intrusive, and always attentive to our preferences. It was clear that he is well respected among other guides and has strong relationships within the community.
We are deeply grateful for his professionalism, dedication, and passion. If you are considering a safari, we highly recommend requesting him as your guide.

Stunning, was in tears leaving
Simple headline is Morning Star was brilliant and the trio was magical. But that doesn’t do it or them justice.
This was magical. A spur of the moment trip we booked in new year for that February. We went through a few dates with them and time spans before we found the date a month that worked. They were so helpful throughout and constantly on what’s app when we had questions.
The trip had 4 locations, I was sceptical of it, but they have honed down what works and how to pack the days so you see and do so much. From elephants right up to the Jeep in Amboseli, to the walking safari where you can possibly touch a wild ostrich, to black and white rhinos in Ukuri, and finishing in the Masi to see the big cats. Morning Star crafted it perfectly.
They also are flexible to your needs, times and dates and really good value. We looked at UK companies but it would have been fixed dates that didn’t quite work, shared transports and shared safaris. What WE got was a cheaper trip with a fully custom itinerary, private safaris and our own driver for the entire trip.
That bit is key as you build up a repor with them and they can craft where they go to what you want. Augustine was brilliant, and he was very friendly with most other drivers, which is a GOOD thing. It means they stop and share tips on what they’ve seen and where they are so you can see what you want!!
Because of that, we found a cheetah right up next to the road, and had 45 minutes of bliss watching it. He found out about a pack of 5 male lions, and we were right up close. Finally, he got that elusive leopard, hiding under the tree eating its dinner. All because he knows so many of the guides and they share tips.
We loved it and can’t wait to be back.

A fantastic week seeing the best of Kenya's wildlife
For our first trip to Africa and our first ever safari, we were a little apprehensive that it wasn't going to live up to expectations. However, we need not have worried as Morningstar Tours ensured we had a fantastic experience!
JoySharon was very easy to communicate with via email from the outset, adapting the itinerary to best fit with what we wanted to do and see, and was always quick to respond to any queries we had. We were met at the airport by our guide Alex who whisked us straight off to the Masai Mara and the adventure began.
For the entirety of our trip, all of our hotels/lodges were brilliant with outstanding rooms, tasty food and welcoming staff. Check-ins were seamless which was reflective of the arrangements made by Morningstar in advance.
The wildlife game drives were everything we could have hoped for. The jeep was comfortable on the long drives and great for watching the animals via the pop-up roof (we were personally glad to do a private safari as it meant we could fully relax in the jeep!). Our guide Alex was always happy to answer any questions we had, shared his perspectives on life in Kenya and had a knack for finding the best spot for a photo opportunity.
We wish we could have stayed in Kenya longer and cannot wait to return one day to do another safari (we would definitely book with Morningstar again!).
