Professional service, great communication and tour delivered as promised.
The communication from Jules leading up to the tour was timely and professional. We also asked for an extra bespoke day to be added and the team proved highly flexible in providing this. We were met by both Jules and the guide, Noel at the begining of the tour at pour hotel. We then set off and had a fabulous 4 days. We were veruy pleased that we chose Uganda to see gorillas which was Jule's recommendation. It proved to be better value for money than Rwanda and we got a much authenticate experience.

Amazing experience
We had an amazing experience with our booking package. Everything was easy, well communicated, and thorough. Our guide was fantastic and put us at ease for the entirety of our trip. The accommodations were more than comfortable and we felt like we were being spoiled for the price. We absolutely recommend and would use this company again.

From the start Lucy was quick to respond with a quote and was happy to provide multiple options. The safari ran seamlessly, our guide Caleb was not only a pleasure to spend 4 days with but was also very knowledgeable and was just a fun guy! Lovely staff, wonderful memories!!!
This was really, really, an awesome life experience! From the beginning to the ending, everything was perfectly managed.. you're professionals, and extremely kind staff. Our driver Evans was perfectly skilled and gave us the opportunity to see the whole BIG5. Everything is included except tips, what's extremely comfortable.. you can also drink as much water bottles as you need during each day. Thank you! Thank you, Lucy, and we definitely recommend you.

Amazing experience
I had a great experience from the moment I asked information, Lucy helped me in the whole booking process with clear informations. The game drive, amazing, Julius showed us and explained us everything during the ride. There's only one Julius, the others are imitations!

Unforgettable safari experience!
I was overwhelmed when I started to look for a safari to Amboseli. So many outfitters and many were slow to respond. We had great service start to finish with Savannah Woods. Lucy sent detailed itineraries with everything specified.
We chose a package that included transport to and from Nairobi, two nights at a great hotel Kibo Safari Park with all meals included. Mr. Henry took excellent care of us for three days. He is a confident and safe driver and excellent guide. Thoughtful and kind, we noticed that he is very popular among the other guides.
We can wholeheartedly recommend a safari with Mr. Henry. And if you are lucky eniugh to be there during mango season, he knows the best sort!

Perfect service!
I had a great experience with Savana Woods! Lucy always answers to you, and she's so diligent and organized! They customized my trip with all my needs even when things changed for me during the days.
The information was so clear, the prices were fare, the hotels they booked, according to my budget, were perfect! I was traveling alone, but I felt safe and calm the whole time with them.
The hot air balloon safari was amazing! It's a little expensive what whort it a lot!!
The service, the drivers, the cars, the hotels, everything was perfect!! I absolutely recommend them!
I did the 4 day safari and spent 2 nights in Masai Mara and one night at Lake Nakuru. Also I took the Masai Village tour, the boat tour, the hot air balloon and everything was so whorted. I wish I knew before about the walking o horse safari at Lake Naivasha because I would love to do that. You can get so close to the animals with that safari, so if you have that opportunity, take it!!
I also booked a city tour with Justin that was so nice!! Visiting the Elephant Orphanage, the giraffe Centre, a museum, stopping at very nice restaurants for lunch and dinner.

Local friendly company with excellent service
I was a solo traveler and did a group joining budget safari. I was impressed by Lucy and Josephat at Savannah Woods, a small locally owned company. Lucy communicated with me promptly and clearly, and provided me with multipage detailed itineraries and hotel information. I especially appreciated that Lucy had visited all the hotels and put a lot of work into finding the best budget accommodations -- the camp I stayed at was a step above the other budget options. The service I received was clearly superior to the other companies I contacted for quotes and information.
Our driver/guide Andrew was excellent. He used the radio to communicate with other guides to figure out where the animals were at Masai Mara and went out of his way to make sure we didn't miss any viewing options. I was amazed at the number of big cats and different behaviors we saw at Masai Mara. He was fun to be around and was very knowledgeable about the animals.

Perfect safari trip
Alfred and Jackson were amazing tour guides. The whole trip exceeded our expectations. Everything from accommodation, to transportation, to animal encounters were perfect.
Our guides were super friendly, helpful and flexible, we spent 2 nights in Masai Mara and 3 full days with them. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy and see as many animals as we can!
