Great communication and great safari guide
Our Kojuu safari was great! Judith in the office was easy to communicate with and offered many different options to suit our needs. We especially appreciate being updated to a luxury lodge in the Serengeti. We had a great driver who was very knowledgeable and a very confident driver. We saw so many amazing animals and beautiful landscapes. We would recommend kojuu for safaris and greatly appreciated their organization and guidance in our safari.

Excellent attention to detail
I can't recommend the safari with Kojuu Safaris more highly. I truly do not hesitate. I must highlight the personalized service from the very beginning: from the moment you request information and want to organize the route and conditions, you are assisted by a person via email and WhatsApp who listens and answers all your questions and requests. During the trip, any need (return schedule changes, driver to the airport, etc.) is also immediately resolved by phone or WhatsApp. In our case, that person was Losim, and he was charming, super attentive, and professional. Also, and this is very important, we had a problem with the currency exchange during payment, and the company resolved it without any problems. They also offer a ton of extra details to tailor the experience to your tastes: they ask what drinks or snacks you prefer, or what type of meals (which are always hot and prepared, not sandwiches), they organize birthday surprises, and offer Wi-Fi in the car, T-shirts, safari hats, and binoculars. We also highlighted how professional and knowledgeable our driver, Patrick, was, unique in spotting animals and explaining everything extremely well, and how pleasant Mafie was with us. The mid-range accommodations were beautiful and luxurious, and were strategically located to optimize travel.

I was incredibly lucky to have found Kojuu Safaris through safaribookings.com to book my dream trip. Judith recommended the best tented camps and accommodations for our visit to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and the breathtaking Serengeti. We were privileged to meet the warmest, most wonderful Tanzanians who live and work there.
The best part was having the fantastic Godson as our guide for seven days. His knowledge and patience are incredible! It was an extraordinary experience to be guided by him for a week; he worked incredibly hard and made sure I had a wonderful time. Thanks to Godson's skills, we saw ALL of the Big Five; we even exceeded our target number of 40 lions, which Godson and I joked about!! Too many close encounters to remember them all...! Godson, the list of animals we saw is endless...

Our journey through Tanzania was nothing short of extraordinary. From the very beginning, everything was seamless — every detail thoughtfully arranged, every step clearly communicated. We began in Arusha, moved on to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, the endless plains of the Serengeti, down into the Ngorongoro Crater, and finally rested by the turquoise waters of Zanzibar. At the last minute, I added an extra day at the start of our trip to ease the jet lag, and Kojuu accommodated us with such grace and ease that it felt effortless.
Traveling with my husband and our 14-year-old daughter, I carried natural concerns about safety, but Losim patiently answered every question and eased every worry. His calm assurance gave me confidence that our family was in good hands from start to finish.
And then there was Aaron — our guide, and truly the heartbeat of our adventure. He was not only endlessly knowledgeable about the animals but also instinctively aware of their movements. Time and again, he positioned us perfectly for unforgettable sightings and photographs. His instincts, humor, and care made the experience both thrilling and safe — and turned game drives into moments of pure wonder. ( the lions with gloves we saw the elusive leopard we saw the black rhino. It was amazing.)
I always imagined I would cry when I first set foot in Africa and saw the wildlife. But the tears came instead on the day we left. This country, its people, and its breathtaking animals captured my heart in a way I could never have predicted. The Serengeti in particular is beyond words — vast, endless, alive. If you can, gift yourself extra days there, because no matter how much time you spend, it will never feel like enough.
Kojuu crafted an itinerary filled with beauty, comfort, and authenticity. The lodges were stunning, the routes perfectly planned, and every day felt like a treasure. I received many quotes before booking, but what drew me to Kojuu was not only their excellence but their heart. It mattered deeply to me that the money I invested would support a local Tanzanian company — not an overseas middleman — and in choosing them, I know it did.

Our guide Patrick was absolutely amazing, not only in spotting wildlife well before us but also navigating wet weather conditions in a safe and professional way. Not forgetting his wealth of knowledge in all of the National Parks. Yes we saw the Big 5 !

Fantastic!
We were VERY lucky to choose Kojuu Safaris to book our trip. Julian Mlay recommended the most beautiful lodges and places to stay, whilst visiting Arusha, Tarangire, Manyara, Ngorogoro and the astounding Serengeti. We were privileged to meet the most warm wonderful Tanzanian people who live and work there.
Best of all, we had the brilliant Fadhil as our guide for the 7 days. His knowledge and patience is incredible! It was an extraordinary experience to be accompanied by him for the week; he worked incredibly hard so that we had a great time. Thanks to Fadhil’s skills we got to see ALL of the Big 5, in fact we exceeded our intended ‘lion count’ of 45, about which we were joking with Fadhil!! Too many close encounters to even remember them all…..! Fadhil, you promised 60 lions next time. 😎 The list of animals we saw is endless…..

Excellent service
Judith and her team provided an excellent service through the planning and during our trip. Judith was patient and knowledgable during the planning of our trip, listening to my requirements in terms of accommodation, dates and getting the balance between Safari, Beach and some downtime. Judith and her office team responded immediately to any queries and gave excellent service throughout our experience.
Every part of the planning from transfers, accommodation, hotel standards, game drives and flights all went to plan.
We went to three different national parks in Tanzania - Taranguire, Ngongora and Serengeti. The jeep was excellent and well equipped with beverages and snacks.
We saw lots of animals in their natural habitat and our guide was very knowledgable. We went to Zanzibar for five days after safari and this part of our trip was also organised by Kojuu. Again everything was planned really well. I would definitely recommend to book direct with Kojuu. I feel we had a fantastic experience and if we had booked in the Uk we would have paid a lot more for the standard we received.

I loved the excellent services provided by Kojuu Safaris. From day 0, when I was searching for the services provider in Africa and I chose Kojuu Safaris because I understood from the initial contacts that it would be a reliable entity with fair prices.
Before starting the trip I also appreciated the way Kojuu Safaris suggested and adapted the itinerary. During our journey in Africa, everything was perfect. The contact through What’s App was always there! Smooth and fast!
But for us, the best of was our guide in Serengeti: Peter! So helpful! Always available. Always looking for giving the extra mile. Speaks perfect English (but not only). Knows a lot about the wild life, about the animals and also plants, we learned so much with him! We miss him, we miss Africa and we will come back, for sure with Kojuu Safaris

Simply AMAZING!!
There are no words to describe how amazing this safari was! From the start (over a year ago) Judith was very much in touch with us in planning the perfect trip. Including a photographer, Emanuel, who was amazing. We saw things I never thought I’d see. Lions, monitor lizards, lots of elephants and giraffes. Our driver, Justin was fantastic in every way. After waiting 5 hours we saw a large wildebeest crossing the Mara River. What an incredible sight. Our lodging was over the edge. They were all beautiful. I look forward to returning with some other family members soon.

Beyond Expectations!

From our initial contact with Julian to the completion of our Safari with our guide, Patrick, you provided a 5 star experience. I highly recommend Kojuu to any family travelling to Tanzania. The competent communication and answers to my endless emails we very appreciated. After receiving several quotes from other companies, the value for money was far above the rest. If at all possible, ask for Patrick to be your guide. He was beyond competent and extremely knowledgeable on the country and the animals. Bravo!
