Issa of Destiny Tours took my son and me to Materuni waterfalls and a nearby coffee plantation. He provided a fun, engaging, and informative tour while explaining traditions, history, and day-to-day experiences of the wonderful people of Tanzania. I took the tour on my special birthday and Issa discreetly arranged for the coffee farmers to sing Happy Birthday to me while making my day most memorable and enjoyable. I highly and confidently recommend Destiny Tours and Issa!

Destiny Explorers Issa is a Trickster.
We booked a 4- Night Serengeti Safari which included Mid luxury Lodge booking. He confirmed 4- nights in 4 different lodges. He showed us good Lodges when we booked but then he changed the lodges to low catgory & CHEAP lodges rather small with minimal facilities. We really suffered with him. We checked with the 2 of the Lodges (Ikumbi & a Farmhouse) & these were booked only about 3/4 days before our arrival while he collected the Advance payment almost 30- days before our arrival. And both these lodges were small & even had more 50% vacant rooms. Initially he showed Kankari Lodge & Eileen Tree House.
Even the Guide was too slow & I dont know if he had knowledge about Serengeti. He asked to guide him where we wanted to go.
My advice NEVER book a full Safari with Destiny Explorers.

It was a pleasure to host you and your family from India. We believe we did all we could to ensure you had an amazing experience with Destiny Explorers. I (Issa Hamisi) personally spent two days with you, showing you around Moshi town, including a Kilimanjaro day hike and a visit to Materuni Village. Our guide, Mr. Tarimo, was also very happy to host you for your safari in Tanzania. Mr. Tarimo is undoubtedly one of our most experienced and knowledgeable guide (with more than 20 years in guiding experience). He is one of the best guides at Destiny Explorers based on our previous clients' comments about him. It's unfortunate that you have not had a chance to enjoy his service. However, I believe at some points you must have had a great time with him taking you around the parks for the 5 days.
Regarding the lodges, ALL of them are mid-range and not luxury as well as the one you stayed in are mid-range as we confirmed earlier via email by the time you confirmed the booking. I was very informative with you in all aspects concerning your safari. We had phone calls and shared text messages almost every day, answering any questions you had. One day before your safari, for the third time I provided a briefing note about the entire safari and the lodges you would be staying in after dropping you at Arusha Four Points Hotel. You were all happy and appreciative of the plans. It's unfortunate that all the information was also shared via email prior to your arrival, but you mentioned you didn't have time to read it, which led to us communicating primarily via WhatsApp.
On behalf of the entire team at Destiny Explorers, I believe in learning from any mistake that might happen during our service deliverance and ensuring smooth communication with our clients prior to their safari.

Divers safari itenery, fund and knowledgable guide and fantastic loges!
Itenery of the Safari was great, very diverse. Our driver was Hussein, who was very flexible, nice and also knowledgeable about the wildlife - it was fun and educational, and he did his very best to spot animals for us, constantly consulted his colleagues on the road to ask who saw what where to take us to the greatest spots. The lodges used by Destiny Explorers were all fabolous! On the flip side, what was not so great was the car - it was very old and clearly struggled to go uphill and was very slow; and the food was very basic - we would have preferred a more fancy picnic option and a thermos of COFFEE in the car.
Overall I would recommend the operator, the itenery and also Hussein as a driver - we enjoyed and are one experience richer!

Perfect from the initial interactions until our last day
This was our first ever safari experience, Destiny Explorers was excellent.
From the begining Issa was very responsive and professional. We booked a private 6 day, 5 night tour covering Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Materuni Waterfall.
Our guide, Gilbert, was professional and very knowledgeable. He made sure we spotted as many animals as possible, and we were able to see almost all the ones on our list
All the accommodations exceeded our expectations. They were clean, spacious, and offered great facilities with warm hospitality. The food throughout the trip was delicious and plentiful.
I can highly recommend Destiny Explorers, if we’re back we will definitely book with them again!!

Wonderful experience!
We just got home from our amazing trip to Tanzania, organized by Destiny Explorers, and had such a great time! Issa was great to work with during trip planning, providing us with plenty of flexible options for our budget and timeline. He was always very responsive and available to answer all of our questions.
Our team on Kilimanjaro was the best! Elly and David were fantastic guides, and the whole team provided the support we needed to get to the summit. We are so grateful to have shared our experience with them!
Hans was our driver for safari and was wonderful at pointing out the animals we may have missed, as well as getting us into position to get great photos!
Our accommodations were very comfortable and each location made us feel welcome.
We were very happy with our decision to book with Destiny Explorers and would definitely recommend them!

We booked a 5 Day 4 Night | Travel To Live
Adventure trip with stops in Tarangire National Park, 2 days in Central Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park.
We also purchased the optional balloon safari which was a wonderful experience.
The communication was amazing! Issa was quick to respond and explained everything in great detail. There’s was an issue with our pickup (the driver at the hotel fell asleep) when we arrived at 1am and Issa answered my phone call at 1:30 in the morning and quickly helped resolve the issue.
The accommodations were wonderful and exceeded our expectations. We stayed in Eileen's Trees Inn, 2 nights in Narudi Tented Camp, and Kankari Lodge. Everyone was friendly, the rooms were spacious and breakfast, lunch, and dinners were delicious!
The parks were amazing and we saw tons of animals (including the big 5)! Serengeti was our favorite! Literally animals everywhere!!
This was a private tour so we had more control about stopping for coffee or snacks, staying and watching animals longer and what time to leave on drives in the morning.
Our driver, Tarimo, was friendly, courteous, provided good conversation and had an amazing knowledge of The local flora and fauna. He was a very safe and measured driver which was particularly important given the uneven terrain we had to navigate in all the parks.
Overall it was an amazing experience and we highly recommend Destiny Explorers.

Hands Down The Best Experience and Travel Agency
Issa is one of the greatest agents anyone could ask for! He was a fabulous agent that was communicative, responsive and above all transparent. Our safari trip was exceptional and would highly recommend everyone to use Destiny Explorers. They are Tanzanian owned, unlike many of the other companies out there, so they know the best spots for safari, negotiate the best prices and secure the best accommodations.
Also, your driver is arguable one of the most important parts of your trip. When you pick Destiny Explorers, you must ask for Omary. He is not only kind and caring, but he is so knowledgeable and intelligent. Omary helped us find every animal numerous times! We saw the Great Migration, saw the crossing of the Mara (it’s much rarer and harder to find than you think, and most don’t get to see it) saw leopards numerous times, more lions than we can count to include HUGE males and baby cub’s nursing, rhino and other animals we didn’t even know were in the Serengeti. Destiny Explorers and Omary will always be our top recommendation for anyone looking at coming to Tanzania.

Amazing 6 day Safari tour with outstanding guiding and service
The Safari was great! We chose a mid-range budget 6 day tour and got a private tour for our family with excellent value for the price.
Thanks to Issa, organization and communication was perfect before and during our stay and flexible to adapt to our needs.
All accomodations were well selected, and we especially loved the two beautiful lodges in Karatu and the tented camp in the heart of Serengeti.
Our experienced Safari guide Deo was very pleasant and always helpful, with impressive knowledge and passion for the protection of wildlife and nature.

Reliable tour operator offering excellent value for money, tour well-organized
We had a very nice 7-day tour across the main parks of Northern Circuit (Tarangire, Serengeti Central and North, Ngorngoro), and overall, everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
Communication was good—sometimes a bit slow to respond, but don’t worry, based on our experience, the operator is very reliable. We had several questions and custom requests, and Issa was always flexible and eventually provided clear answers to all of them.
The price was very competitive, and we felt we got great value for money. The accommodations were all comfortable and well-selected, and the whole trip was well organized.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a trustworthy operator and a great experience!

Unforgettable 4-Day Safari Adventure in Tanzania
We recently returned from an unforgettable 4-day safari through Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, and I can confidently say it was the trip of a lifetime. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and much of that credit goes to our incredible guide, Baraka.
From the moment we met him, Baraka’s warmth, professionalism, and passion for wildlife made us feel instantly at ease. He has an extraordinary depth of knowledge about the animals, landscapes, and culture of Tanzania. Every sighting came alive thanks to his storytelling and insights—from the smallest bird to the great herds of wildebeest.
Serengeti National Park: The vast plains were everything I dreamed of and more. We witnessed lions lounging under acacia trees, a cheetah sprinting across the savannah, and elephants gracefully moving in family herds. Baraka always seemed to know exactly where to go for the best sightings, while still respecting the animals and the environment.
Ngorongoro Crater: A breathtaking natural wonder. Descending into the crater felt like entering another world, where wildlife roams in abundance. We saw rhinos, zebras, flamingos, and countless other animals, all set against the dramatic backdrop of the crater walls.
Lake Manyara: Though smaller than the other parks, it was full of surprises. The lush greenery and birdlife were incredible, and we were lucky enough to see a female elephant and her baby.
What made this safari so special was not only the beauty of the parks but the way Baraka guided us through them. He was patient, attentive, and always eager to answer questions. His driving skills were excellent, and he made sure we were comfortable, safe, and well taken care of throughout the journey.
Every day was filled with excitement, yet also with a sense of peace and connection to nature. The accommodations, meals, and logistics were seamless, but it was Baraka’s dedication and enthusiasm that turned a great safari into an extraordinary one.
If you are planning a safari in Tanzania, I cannot recommend both the itinerary and Baraka enough. This was an adventure I will cherish forever, and I left with not only amazing photos and memories but also a deep appreciation for the wildlife and people of Tanzania.
