Honeymoon of a lifetime!
Just a note to say thank you so much for making our honeymoon so special! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we will be recommending you to any and everyone who will listen! It was honestly the trip of a lifetime for us both!
Sediba Sa Rona & Camp Xakanaxa were our top favorite places - the teams in both were really organised and super friendly, making it such a wonderful honeymoon.
Mardi planned everything from A-Z with such detail and attention. Everything was super smooth, from the transportation to the communication in the lead up to, during and after the trip.

Great experience with Viatu
The Viatu team organised the perfect Namibia experience for us! We were travelling for the first time to Namibia for 12 days, with three teenagers. Viatu offered excellent recommendations as regards amazing but doable itineraries, fantastic lodges, the most convenient car rental and fun activities - in a very short time, and adjusted their offer to take into account all our evolving requests. the info package we received from them once the booking was confirmed was very detailed and helpful. In addition, while in Namibia, they were available for us for any kind of new unexpected request. The team is extremely friendly and client oriented, and the offers are truly tailor-made! We were very very happy with them and can recommend them 100%; as a matter of fact, we are already thinking about our next trip to Namibia and will once again love to work with them :-)

extremely helpful, friendly, responsive and they think along very well
After our own deep dive into the research for Namibia with quickly came to the conclusion it wasn't going to be easy. (this is coming from a couple that loves to travel and always books everything themselves).
We then got in contact with Viatu and they asked the right questions and understood our vision for the trip perfectly.
They put together multiple variations of the trip and shared them via an interactive web page which is really helpful! We even used this page during our trip a lot :)
During our trip we got our dedicated contact persion which responded very quickly and was helpful as well.
The trip it's self was amazing too, would recommend Namibia to everyone!
lastly, Knowing how expensive Namibia is, we feel this was very good value for our money.

Amazing
Michelle was a fantastic travel agent. She made excellent bookings at a competitive price. The only problem we had was with the car rental company, but she resolved it quickly and made sure everything went smoothly.

Mardi arranged an absolutely excellent Namibia trip for 4 of us. It was within the specified budget, bespoke, included all the things we wanted and more at her very wise suggestion.
I would highly recommend her and Viatu and would definitely use them again

Simone is just fantastic - book with her
This is now my second trip to Namibia and fourth trip with Viatu overall. We booked again with Simone who planned everything nicely for us, a group of 8.
This time we chose a slightly different route based on Simone's recommendation and we loved every bit of it.
We had a few challenges and short notice change along the way. For instance we had some flat tires and booked a short notice hot air balloon flight but the team at Viatu helped us out swiftly and competently - even during weekends and evenings.

Didn't meet expectations - we wish we booked it ourselves.
The itinerary planning and booking process was generally smooth. Communication during the planning phase was adequate, and it was easy to make adjustments to the itinerary both before and after booking. The platform and team made it relatively straightforward to build the trip.
Unfortunately, once the trip began, the level of service dropped significantly. We received no proactive communication from Viatu while we were traveling. Early in the trip we realized we needed to contact each hotel or safari lodge directly a few days prior to arrival in order to confirm check-in details. In multiple instances, the check-in times we received from the properties did not match the information provided by Viatu. For a service positioned as a curated travel experience, we expected more reliable coordination and support during the trip itself.
We booked this trip as our honeymoon, and candidly, we feel we likely would have had a better overall experience planning the trip ourselves. Over 16 nights we stayed in six different locations, primarily 4-star accommodations, ending with a 5-star luxury safari experience on a private reserve. In reality, only one accommodation truly stood out as exceptional (Tamodi Estates in Plettenberg Bay). We actually preferred our 4-star safari experience over the 5-star lodge, which cost roughly three times more. Additionally, one property in the Winelands was so poor that it was surprising to see it included in a professionally curated itinerary.
It was also uncomfortable that nearly every property asked the purpose of our visit and seemed unaware that we were on our honeymoon. In several cases, staff expressed surprise and said they wished they had known in advance so they could have done something special. This felt like a significant missed opportunity. One of the main reasons to use a travel advisor or agency is their ability to communicate key details to partner properties and help create memorable experiences for special occasions. That coordination did not appear to happen here.
Overall, while the trip itself was enjoyable, the level of curation, communication, and attention to detail did not meet the expectations we had for a professionally planned honeymoon experience. In hindsight, the value of booking through Viatu was not clear, and we believe we likely would have had a better and more tailored experience arranging the trip independently.

Self-drive safari Namibia
We got a very nice itinerary for our trip to Namibia created by Simone which didn't need any alterations according to our specs. Arriving in Windhoek the car was ready and in a very good state, the lodges and campsites where amazing, even above expectation and we had a really good time!
We will certainly book our next self drive vacation again with Viatu!

Outstanding support prior and during our trip
