Simone and Viatu were thorough, professional, and competent making our trip of a lifetime.
Our trip to Namibia was our first to Africa. We were seeking the road less traveled and were not disappointed. Simone and Viatu were attentive to every detail. Simone hosted several planning sessions. Even though we were inexperienced in African travel, Viatu instilled confidence making the planning process a dream. We experienced a delay because of mechanical problem that cost a day of our trip. Simone and Viatu made adjustments to our itinerary to preserve most of our lost time. In addition, they helped us with information needed for our successful trip insurance claim. No matter the hiccup, we think about our Namibia every day and our return to Africa. We cannot say enough positive about our experience with Simone and Viatu. We would not hesitate to use their services again.

An Unforgettable African Adventure with Viatu
Our trip to South Africa and Eswatini was an unforgettable experience. Viatu did a wonderful job of planning a journey that allowed us to discover the incredible diversity, beauty and wildlife of both countries at our own pace.
The itinerary was well organised, the accommodations were carefully selected, and the overall experience gave us the perfect balance of adventure, relaxation and authentic experiences. Communication was clear and helpful, and we felt that the trip had been thoughtfully put together to make the most of our time in Africa.
We particularly appreciated the freedom and flexibility to explore at our own pace while knowing that the important details had been taken care of. The trip exceeded our expectations and created memories that will stay with us for a long time.
We would happily recommend Viatu to anyone planning a self-drive adventure in Southern Africa!

Simone offered exceptional service & expertise in arranging our dream trip to Zimbabwe.
After having a wonderful trip to Namibia arranged by Simone Ferk in 2025, we asked her to arrange a trip to Vic Falls in 2026.
Her attention to detail and advice on activities in and around Vic Falls made this a truly memorable experience. The costs of the activites were included in the tour price and bookings were arranged on our behalf which made the trip effortless for us. Any queries prior to our travel date were responded to patiently and timeously. We were constantly updated on changes or amendments to our schedule.
She worked within the budget we had allocated for the trip. I would not hesitate to call on her again for future travel arrangements.

Incredible Honeymoon!
We had the trip of a lifetime on our honeymoon! From start to finish, every detail was meticulously planned and thoughtfully curated, making the entire trip completely seamless.
Our trip began in Cape Town, followed by a drive to Franschhoek (They made the car rental very easy) before travelling along the stunning Garden Route to Port Elizabeth. From there, we were picked up and we headed for an incredible safari experience before rounding off the trip with some much-needed relaxation. Every stop, stay and experience was perfectly chosen, and we genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better itinerary.
A huge shoutout to Ronan, whose attention to detail, knowledge and responsiveness were second to none. He patiently answered our many questions (sorry Ronan) and made us feel completely looked after every step of the way.
We couldn’t recommend Vitau highly enough. They take all the stress out of planning, researching and organising a big trip, while somehow finding the most incredible hidden gems along the way.
A massive thank you to the whole team at Vitau, and especially Ronan, for helping us create such a special honeymoon. It truly was the trip of a lifetime, and we’ll be talking about it for years to come.

Excellent Service and Trip Planning
Booked with Viatu after recommendations online.
Simone was our go to trip organiser and produced 3 excellent iterations for us to discuss. Having decided on our iteration she then produced a complete itinerary including photos of planned stops, activities at each stop and travel directions for our 2466 km journey through Namibia.
She was always available for questions prior to departure talking us through visa applications and health requirements.
On arrival our baggage had not arrived and was not being delivered by SAA to our accommodation in Windhoek. One call to Simone and the bags were delivered the very next day! Without her intervention we would have missed an entire day of trip.
The trip itself was exactly as described and each stop just got better and better. Quality of accommodation and friendliness of staff was outstanding and shows the care that Viatu place in accommodating their clients.

During the trip, Ronan was great to communicate making sure all our travel needs were met and going smoothly.

After filling request on Safaribooking site, we have got a message from Viatu about contact to talk about our expectations and budgets. I’ve got phone call from Viatu and I was pleased about their interest of ours expectations, our interests with this trip, and most important our budget. They asked about our preferences and promised to find the best option for our budget.
We have got a suggestion and overview of journey. It took some time for us to check out and decide, and Viatu was patient and explained things if we asked. They changed trip and accommodation as we wished. After paying, we’ve got a lot of information and advice from Viatu about car rent and insurance and other practical things.
Almost all accommodations were wonderful, as described in itinerary, except one in Swakopmund, that was nice, but cold, without heating. Itinerary was good adjusted for our preference to stay at places for two-three nights. Accommodations were a little bit remote, but quite short distance from destinations. So it was just fine.
We have visited the best highlights in Namibia and we love this country! It was fantastic journey, so we are already planning to come back to Namibia 🤩 .
As we got this trip within our budget, we got great value for money in this nice luxury accommodations and all the destinations. We didn’t get the best car, Suzuki was may be cheaper than other cars, but was okay. Next time we will choose better car. 😉

Unforgettable Namibia trip
We had an awesome trip in Namibia. Mardi took care of everything. There were some confusion regarding the car rental initially but it was sorted out quickly and we had an awesome time in Namibia.
