Exemplary !!
5/5

Kenya Walking Survivors Safaris Ltd offers the best of the bush with the comforts of home. We did the 3 day 2nights Masai Mara Experience. This all-inclusive package provides the best of both worlds with everything taken care of in between!I feel the description of Kenya Walking Survivors Safari needs to be categorized into two parts, hospitality(tents, food) and safari(tours, guides, and vehicle)

Hospitality:
Mara AA lodge run a first class operation. To begin with, the staff is amazing. The food is great and plentiful; the tents are very comfortable and spacious. We had a lovely dinner the first evening we arrived. It was fun to enjoy the bonfire and company. The tents made it feel like a more genuine and personalized safari experience, with ample room and provide hot and cold showers. I admit I was hesitant at first for the idea of tents, but found the experience to be worthwhile and not spartan as I feared.

Safari:
The location is great and allows access into Masai Mara National Park. We were able to do evening and morning game drives seeing giraffe, elephants, buffalo, leopard, lioness, a hyena and more. The guide we worked with (Mwangi) was knowledgeable and extremely personable. If you get a chance to take a walking safari with Mwangi you will learn more about animals, birds and insects than you can ever imagine. He was also very helpful taking photos of us(my family) at the Mara river and at the Kenya,Tanzania border :) He also took us for a drive to the Trans Mara land to have lunch in the wild where we had a view of the Mara landscape that was one you'd die for ☺️

Thank you for a wonderful experience!

My new best friends
5/5

KWSS offered the complete package from problem-solving to completion. Their organization was prompt, courteous and efficient but most of all reliable. They will certainly be my “go-to” team for future safaris. Thank you for all your support and help over the time we spent with you; it truly is appreciated. Our vacation was exactly what we wanted and we got more than we expected.

Excellent service
5/5

I loved how welcoming and helpful the staff were towards us. We got to see all the big 5 animals and the meals provided were excellent. I would definitely recommend this company. The only thing I would say is that if you are particular about your sleeping arrangements, you should opt for the luxury accommodations. The budgeted tents were fine, but I realized that I don't actually like camping lol

A great organisation that is as he says flexible. Do remember you are in Africa!
4/5

Booked this trip for my father and I and not having the time to do research I trusted Kenya Walking to do it all for me.
A couple of changes I would recommend - break up your trip don't do a 10 day safari - you'll get bored even if you love animals!
- Mara is by far the best though Amboselli and Tsavo East and West does have it's advantages.
.....Different terrain and animals

Overall quite good - there was a couple of issues that Otenio sorted. A couple of horrible situations that weren't fixed immediately though a rebate was sorted. (although it wasn't the cash we were after)

We overall had an great experience and although I was extremely hesitant even to the point I was worried no one would be there to pick us up and my deposit would go astray. They were professional and dealing with the team was amazing.

I wish I could give it excellent though there is a few things that did affect the trip on a short term basis. Including some of the accomodation. Very similar to the comments I read before going on this trip... A couple of things to sort out OT and you'll have a great trip
For Zanzi bar travellers - DO NOT STAY AT DHOW INN!!!!
They stole my dad's Prada perfume, some cash - a neighbours gold necklace and I still haven't had a rebate or anything of the sort - still waiting to hear back on this one from both Paco - the owner at Dhow Inn and OT if you can do anything?

Just ruined the last bit of our holiday.

Finally DO the Gorilla Trek I was worried it wasn't worth the cash... It was! Enjoy folk - So much more to do, though 3 weeks in Africa was amazing!

10 Days Masai Mara Samburu and Bwindi National Parks
5/5

My Mum, brother and I went to Africa for our holiday. Being the tour leader I had to plan everything on my own. At first I thought it gonna be stressing and time consuming. To my surprise, when I contacted Kenya Walking survivors Safaris, all my burning questions were all answered and within two days, we had finalized everything! Kenya’s parks are all great. In Uganda we did the trekking and although my mum is aged, she managed it! It is not only fun but also, excersising .All our accommodations were budget but they were comfortable. Our cook-Sam made delicious food while in Kenya. Thank you Mr. Otieno for your good work .God bless!

Kenya and Zanzibar trip
5/5

I took my girlfriend in Africa for an engagement surprise. Things really went down cool as we visited both Kenya and Tanzania. Among the parks that we visited were Masai Mara, Samburu, L.Nakura and Amboseli. After the long game drives and the bumpy roads, we flew to Zanzibar to relax. Generally everything was good, cant regret.
