So great!
Very good organisation for the 9 days Kenya/Tanzania budget safari with Zanzi Africa Safaris. Thanks to Lydia for helpfull at any time.
The drivers/guides in Kenya and Tanzania were both friendly and experimented. It's a lot of kilometers, from park to park, but it's worthy.
We saw so many different animals and we had the chance to see the big five.
About accomodation, the camp in Serengeti is very basic. If you don't like camping, choose an other option.
The Simba camp is more confortable.
Anyway if you choose the budget safari you will see the same animals and not have budget guide. The food also is good.
I recommandations this organisation and this trip.

The 9 day budget safari was fantastic.
Wonderful experience taking the 9 day budget safari. The guides worked so hard to make sure we saw aninals, which we did! Lion cubs. Leopard. Servil cat. More lions. Cheetahs. Antelope of different kinds. The whole trip was smooth and well organized. We were met with a car at every exchange, the food was great. The best part: sleeping in a tent with wild animals around me.

Really good tour operator
We did an experience of 6 days with them and also 2 days on a tour of the city, and they were super available for everything.
The only things that made me put 4 stars is about the organization, sometimes they could’ve been more precise and tell about some changes during the safari…also when something goes wrong they can be more ready to give other options.
Anyways our guide was super cool and prepared to give us the best experience, he was also extremely respectful of the animals.
I would recommend this agency!

Zanzi African Safaris provided excellent service from start to finish. When we needed to change hotels, they arranged it immediately. The accommodation and food were both very good, and our highly experienced guide took us to see many amazing animals and beautiful scenes. The staff were friendly, patient, and professional throughout — great communication, reliability, and value for money. Highly recommended for a memorable Kenya safari!

I had an absolutely fantastic safari experience in Kenya, and a huge part of what made the trip so special was the wonderful team at Zanzi Safari and our incredible driver and guide, Gilbert Cheruiyo
A very special thank you to Lydia and her team at Zanzi Safari for putting together such an incredible itinerary. They planned everything so well and made sure the entire safari was smooth, exciting, and unforgettable. I had the pleasure of meeting the whole team, and every single person was friendly, welcoming, helpful, and professional.
If you are planning a safari in Maasai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Naivasha, or Amboseli, I highly recommend speaking with Lydia and her team. They really listen to what you want and put together an itinerary that allows you to experience the very best of Kenya.
And they certainly know how to choose their guides. If you go just ask Lydia to request Gilbert Cheruiyo was absolutely the best. He is extremely knowledgeable about wildlife, speaks English very fluently, and has an incredible understanding of animals and their behaviour. He could spot animals from a distance that we would never have noticed ourselves.
Gilbert made our days so much easier and enjoyable. He was friendly, patient, professional, funny, and genuinely passionate about his work. His knowledge added so much to the experience, and you could tell that he really cared about making sure everyone had an amazing safari.
Our little group was also fantastic, with people from England, Armenia, France, Saudi Arabia, and myself from Australia. We had so much fun together, and it was wonderful sharing such incredible experiences with people from different parts of the world.
We were lucky enough to see the **Big Five** 🦁🐘🐆🦏🐃, as well as many other amazing animals and some truly breathtaking Kenyan landscapes. Every day was an adventure, and the combination of an excellent itinerary, an amazing group, and a fantastic guide made it a trip I will never forget.

An unforgettable African safari experience with Zanzi African Safaris
Our long-awaited Kenya and Tanzania safari was truly one of the most memorable journeys our family has ever taken, and a huge part of that is thanks to Zanzi African Safaris and their wonderful team.
From the very beginning, Lydia, our coordinator, was incredibly helpful. She has a fantastic understanding of how to plan a safari so that guests get the best possible wildlife experience while also getting great value for the money spent. She patiently helped us plan the itinerary, accommodated last-minute changes, assisted with flight bookings, and made the entire process remarkably smooth.
Our journey took us through Masai Mara (2 nights), Amboseli (2 nights), Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and then Serengeti (4 nights). Every accommodation exceeded our expectations. Mara Heritage Camp, Amboseli Wildebeest Camp, Merica Hotel in Nakuru, and especially the luxury tented experience at Engiterata Camp inside the Serengeti were excellent. The Engiterata experience in particular is something that is difficult to put into words — staying in such a beautiful setting in the middle of the Serengeti was simply magical.
But the real stars of our trip were our guides.
John in Kenya and Syedi and Kyllian in Tanzania were exceptional.
Our main focus was wildlife spotting and photography, and they understood that perfectly. They knew how to read the animals, anticipate their movements, position the vehicle according to the light and the best photographic opportunities, and, most importantly, do all of this while respecting the animals and never disturbing them.
That made an enormous difference to us as photographers. They weren't simply taking us from one sighting to another — they genuinely understood what we were trying to achieve and worked patiently to give us the best possible experience.
We were also travelling with children and therefore had quite a lot of heavy luggage. Zanzi and John went far beyond what we expected in helping us transport and securely store our luggage while we moved from Kenya to Tanzania, especially since the bush flights had restrictions on heavy baggage. Their help with this logistical challenge gave us tremendous peace of mind.
What impressed us most was that whenever something changed, Zanzi was there to help. Whether it was a last-minute change or arranging flights, they handled everything calmly and efficiently.
I could probably go on and on thanking Zanzi, Lydia, John, Syedi and Kyllian, because this was much more than just a holiday for us. It was a long-awaited family dream, and they helped turn it into an unforgettable experience filled with incredible wildlife, breathtaking landscapes and memories that we will treasure forever.
A special thank you to John and Syedi, whose passion, patience, knowledge and understanding of wildlife made such a difference to our safari.
We came back from Africa already thinking about when we could return.
And if we do come back next year, there is no question — we would want to travel with Zanzi African Safaris again.

An unimaginable experience
We have been overwhelmed by Zanzi African Safaris safari arrangements and schedule. They planned it just the way we expected starting from stays, all included food and water to the most important game drives. We started our social media journey as wildlife enthusiasts and naturalist’s photographers as @Wildframe_Duos(Instagram, Facebook), Zanzi with a team of excellent guides helped our Kenya, Tanzania safaris to become a grand success. We have photographed not just the wildlife, but captured moments that are unforgettable. Be it the Great Wildebeest migration, the Big 5, the ugly 5 and so much more that we have stories of lifetime. Overall experience was very rewarding and I do look forward to team up with them again soon.
