Amazing tour company! Great safari
Our safari with Meru Slopes was unforgettable! We saw all of the big five with lots of lions and cheetahs. The camping in the Serengeti was incredible, we could hear lions and animals in our tent all night. Our safari tour guide Paul was truly amazing. He is very knowledgeable on all things related to animals, Tanzania, and culture. He even went out of his way to help us buy new cloths and find our lost luggage in the middle of the Serengeti! He has so much experience and knew where to go to see the rarest animals. He is a great host and made us all feel very welcome, safe, comfortable, and allowed us to enjoy every second of the trip. Booga Dance the chef was incredible! Every night after a long day of safari we got to enjoy his amazing soups and food that he prepared fresh every day. Good food really does make a difference and Booga Dance knows how to cook! He was also incredibly friendly, funny, welcoming, and helpful. Paul and Booga Dance really made the trip special. Jerome from Meru Slopes also helped with all of the logistics of planning the trip and ensured we had a ride from the airport. He answered all of our questions quickly and made us feel very comfortable with choosing Meru Slopes for our safari. I would recommend them for a safari, you seriously will not regret it. Make sure to ask for Paul as your guide and Booga Dance as your chef!

My husband and I contacted Soul of Tanzania to help with our first safari in Serengeti & other parks in Tanzania. From the very first email, Filipa, Journey Designer, worked tirelessly to fine tune the itinerary that worked around our requirements. She made organising the trip seamless and all we needed to do was select our lodges/hotels and provide dates / timelines.
Our safari trip was 6 days from Arusha, Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara. We liked how we can select different lodges/hotels based on our comfort and budget. We stayed at Gran Melia Arusha (before the safari), Karibu Elephant Springs, Nimali Serengeti, Melia Ngorongoro, and Best View Lodge. Our favourite lodge was definitely Nimali Serengeti Lodge. Big shout out to the team there.
We booked private tour so we didn't share the driving with any other passengers. We are very grateful we had Simon as our designated Driver for the whole 6 days. He was friendly, professional from beginning to end and we really enjoyed his company, his expertise, not to mention patiently answering our questions about everything safari & Tanzanian related :)
Simon with his driving skills and knowledge managed to tick off all big African 5s for us quite early in our safari, and we were treated with finding mother & cub cheetahs 2nd last day which made trip extra special for us.
We cannot recommend Simon enough for looking after us and made the whole experience above and beyond our expectations and memorable.
We've talked non-stop about our trip to our loved ones and already recommending them to book with Soul of Tanzania and to ask for Simon and Filipa

Awesome safari days
We have been to Africa for the first time and this is our first safari. We couldn't have asked for anything better. Our guide Dieter was exceptional. He accommodated all our requests, even taking us on a safari at dawn for more days. He was very patient and kind. Thanks to Dieter we were able to see all the big five in addition to the beautiful landscapes. He also gave us many explanations about the various animals and the local culture. We recommend this company and the guide Dieter! We will definitely be back and will rely on him! Thanks again to Dieter and the company for making our experience awesome!

Special thanks to our guide Marcos—he’s incredibly knowledgeable! He knew not only every animal we saw (even without binoculars!) but also the names and stories behind many plants. His keen eyesight and deep understanding of wildlife made our safari feel like a true discovery journey. He was also extremely respectful of the park rules, never straying off the main roads and always prioritizing the animals’ well-being. Highly, highly recommended!

Unforgettable experience!
This African safari has truly been one of the most unforgettable adventures of my life.
We explored the vast wildlife reserves, led by our amazing local guide, Bariki. He was incredibly sincere, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. He could always spot animals hidden in the bushes before anyone else and shared many fascinating facts about their behavior and characteristics with us. His passion for nature was contagious.
The accommodations also exceeded all my expectations. Our tented lodges were clean, comfortable, and beautifully integrated with the surrounding environment. Returning to camp each day to a warm towel and a refreshing drink felt incredibly thoughtful and welcoming.
Thanks to Bariki, we didn’t just see the wildlife — we understood it. His genuine care and expert guidance added so much meaning to the entire journey.
