We had an excellent and well informed guide. He took great pride in ensuring that we got the right angle for our photographs and whilst he did not promise the big five, I think he was quietly confident and sure enough we saw the five. Highly recommended Tanzania Exclusive Journeys.

Perfect Safari for family of three with Massai Guides and plenty of animals to see
We had booked our safari with Ilse from Matoke Tours and were very pleased with the whole booking process. Ilse provided valuable advice and helped us to compose our individual trip out of several of the standard Matoke offerings with multiple adjustments for us.
Everything worked out as planned - Nairobi, the safari at Masai Mara, Dar es salaam, whale sharks on Mafia Island.
We really enjoyed the safari at the very lovely Masai Mara Eden Camp - surprisingly with a private car with a driver and a guide (real Masai warriors ;-) only for us - we had not expected to get a private car. So everything was very flexible as we could decide anytime when to leave and return from our game drives - our 10y old son seemed to get never tired of driving around and hunting for new sightings, so we had very long days ;-) Maria Eden camp was a perfect fit for us - everything we needed but not to posh. The view onto the river with hippos und crocs was gorgeous, right from our tent.
Mafia Island was great. We snorkelled with 5 or 6 whale sharks. The change of lodging from Kiti Kiblu to Meremeta lodge was also very good as there is not much more to do than the whalesharks on the Kilidoni sido of the island and Kiti Kiblu was - as expected - really quite basic, good enough for 1 or 2 nights, but nothing for a week… Meremeta was a very good fit for us, we liked having dinner together with all the other guests on one long table. For a next time we would also consider staying at https://www.mafialodge.com/ as it is directly on the beach and had a nice buffet with good seafood, but might also be a different price range... Snorkelling in the Chole Bay was also very good - the corals are very healthy and there is lots of colorful fish.
The dayroom in Dar at the slipway hotel on our last day we appreciated a lot - we certainly would not have enjoyed spending 8 hours at DAR airport, and traffic in Dar was much better than expected.

incredible itinerary
This has been what i call the trip of a lifetime , through Africa Adventure Vacations , my best friend and I were able to track the gorillas, enjoyed a three day Safari and we absolutely had the time of our life, the staff was professional and extremely nice , Edison himself is a highly professional individual , their choice of accommodation was excellent , all in all i have nothing negative to say , its all positive and very well organized , from the moment u arrive till the moment u depart to your home country , thank Africa Adventure Vacations' team for making this possible and enjoyable ......

Experience of a lifetime
This safari exceeded all expectation and was a dream come true for us. Travelling 1st time to Kenya for a short duration and arranging for a safari to cover everything we want seemed like a daunting task. But things were really smooth as soon as we got in touch with James from Alliance destinations. He gave us plenty of options of itineraries tailored to our requirements. All of our requests, last moment changes were never a problem. Our driver and guide Patrick was very knowledgeable gentleman, and we learned a lot from him about Kenya along with enjoying the safari. We felt safe, pampered and looked after all along. James even went out of the way and was in touch with us throughout the holiday even before and after the safari was over, guiding us and providing all possible advice, without expecting anything in return.

Thanks to Face of Africa for accommodating my “last minute” decision to go on a short (two days, one night) safari from Arusha. I got in touch with Hamadi whilst in Arusha and he came to meet me at my hotel. He was very helpful in getting me organised quickly. We worked out a schedule on Saturday afternoon and by Sunday morning 8am, I was on my way. Special thanks to my driver/guide, Dickson, who speaks perfect English and knowledge of the flora and fauna is outstanding. Dickson listened to my specific requests and made sure I got the trip I wanted. I was really pleased with the decision to go to Tarangire National Park on day one, as this turned out to be the better of the two days as far as animal spotting was concerned. Got some great close up encounters with elephants, lions, giraffes and of course, those cheeky civet monkeys who like to steal tourist lunch items! I opted for an upgraded lodge from 3 stars to 4 for a really good deal and the lodge was so lovely it felt like 5 stars. Day two was spent in the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park which was disappointing as I didn’t get to see any hippos but the bountiful bird life made up for the lack of hippos. This day provided a good contrast to the previous day and was so peaceful and relaxing. I came away feeling refreshed and very happy with my adventure photos.
This was a great, value for money trip which was very well organised and everything went to plan. I have no hesitation in recommending Face of Africa for a tailored adventure that will not break the budget but delivers on expectations.

It was a wonderful experience visiting Uganda's famous bwindi impenetrable forest, national park great adventures Uganda enabled me to have my 1st gorilla habituation experience. Where I got an interaction with this sweet endangered animals, I appreciate all their services and wonderful gorillas habituation experience.

Trip of a lifetime!
I would give SunUp Adventures more than 5 stars if I could! Before the trip even began, Chris was very responsive to all my messages and made sure everything was in order for our trip. We went on a 7 day private safari, and everything was very well organized. John was our safari guide, and he was amazing to say the least. He is very knowledgeable about the animals and parks, along with being a genuinely nice person. He made sure we saw every Big Five animal up close and personal, along with so many more! All the lodges we stayed at were above our expectations, and there was always more than enough food and water. I would highly recommend booking your safari trip with them for a trip of a lifetime!
