Exceptional experience
We did an 8 day safari with Features Africa. Right from the initial contact by email with Karanja we knew we were in good hands. The whole trip was well planned, each hotel/ lodge was well chosen. Our tour guide George was knowledgeable, kind and funny, we thoroughly enjoyed his company for our trip. He knew so much about each park and all the species of animals we came across and always positioned the jeep so well to ensure we had a good view and could take good photos. Our luggage was lost by the airline on the way over but to ensure we were never stressed at any point Karanja kindly sorted this out for us and liased with George to let us know where it would meet us, this meant so much as we could just enjoy our trip. I highly recommend features Africa and we are very thankful we chose them. Special thanks to Karanja and George for a fantastic trip.

Great communication and organisation of the tour
Stella was extremely organised and it was easy to communicate concerning the tour. She brought nice small presents before the tour and organised a discount where possible (e.g. rent of binoculars or smaller deposit payment). They also had no problem to pick us up and drop off in the suburbs of Nairobi where we were staying (an extra 1 hour drive from the center of the city).
However, as it was only 3 of us, Stella joined us to the other group travelling with other agency, so in fact Baboon travel agency took us to the Masai Mara rather than Kenya Dau Tours. The guide was friendly, he found a lot of animals for us and seemed to know other drivers well, so he got a lot of advice where to go to find animals, though the driving was sometimes agressive. The cheapest lodge (Miti Mingi) that we stayed in was really close to the park gate, but it was very very basic - no hot water, tent cramped with 4 single beds, common spaces very cheap and uncozy, though you get what you pay for.
Overall Masai Mara was a great experience and I would really recommend contacting Stella with any travel plans in Kenya.

Communication was Awesome and the tour itself was Amazing
My safari with Oakland tours was well arranged. Communication was excellent and the operational manager Madam Felistus was a nice lady. I really enjoyed my tour and wish to travel again with this tour company.

Gorillas, Chimps hanging out feet away, lions eating a wildebeest. Who could has for anything more?
They created a website just for our trip that showed pictures of the lodges and gave lots of information on our activities at each place. They arranged for us to get all our necessary permits, our air travel between Entebbe and an airport near Biwindi, and then later Entebbe and the northern Serengeti and then back to Kilimanjaro. They worked closely with Wild Frontiers that ran the lodges we stayed in, and provided a terrific guide in Uganda who drove us all around Uganda and made sure we were on treks to see gorillas and chimps that we could manage. My travelling companion and I are both 74 years old, and she has COPD, and could only handle a short climb to the gorillas and a slow walk to the chimps, and our overall guide arranged all that. The different safaris, to see gorillas, chimps in Queen Elizabeth Park and in Kigale forest, and then to see the wildebeeste crossing, and all the Serengeti animals were beyond expectations. It was a great trip.

Outstanding!!
Incredible 4 day Safari with Regional and Nova as our guide. He was professional, funny and great at his job. He was able to spot rare animals like rhinos and cheetahs they were nearly impossible to see with the naked eye. Our lodging was incredible. Kubu Kubu was our favorite. We saw the big five no problem. Many giraffes lions and elephants. A once in a life time experience. Would recommend going 6-7 days to get the full experience. Tanzania is vast. Nova is the best!

Everything perfect, absolutely recommendable
I am responsible for the reader journeys of Südostschweiz and have organized a group trip. We were 18 people and all totally thrilled. The accommodations were simply chosen in advance (due to price) and met almost all our requirements. We were traveling with three jeeps, and the drivers spoke very good German and could tell us a lot about the country and the people. They all drove very carefully and forward-looking, we always felt very safe. Uganda is beautiful and we will be back. Thanks, Ivan, Robert and David, you were great.

So great !
We take a safari 4 days and 3 nights in Masai Mara and Lake nakuru, our guide was Denis. We just past 4 wonderful days. To begin the safari was awesome, we saw all the animals (elephant, girafe, lions, hippo, rhino,...). We enjoy different place between Masai mara, lake nevasha and lake nakuru, was all different but so interisting. The lake nevasha wasn t plained but on the road so he proposed to us to stop for a little boat safari. The accomodation was good, i really liked the place where we was "Lenchada camp" and the staff was realy nice. Thanks to them. We also visit a masai village and meet people from there and the son of the chef, they show us their life and houses. To finish, our driver was Denis, he was so good with us. He take time to explain us different things to stop us for looking animals and taking pictures. Always asking if everything was ok, if we are good. I could stay long more time with them. We was so happy to have Denis like guide since begining to the end. Thank you Denis. Thank you for eveything. I really recommand, if i can, i would come back again (maybe try other place but with same company and same guide). Thank you

BEST AFRICAN EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
We did a 16 days safari trip with Bateleur Eagle Safaris. We started booking pretty late about a month in advance. We thought we were late but actually the booking was very smooth. We got in touch with Mathew in the Kenyan office who helped us with the quote. He was very efficient and also very patient with us. We had so many questions (being our first time to Africa) but Mathew answered them all. The first leg of our safari consisted of Samburu, Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara. Our driver guide Steve was very knowledgeable with animals, birds and plants. He talked about Kenya and Africa in general with pride. We could definitely tell that he loved his job. He was very patient with us and went out of his way to make sure that all our demands were met. We were in tears when saying goodbye to him to cross over to Tanzania.
We switched vehicles and driver guides at the border and met our second driver guide Bashir. Our Tanzania portion will take us to Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park. Bashir was also very knowledgeable and jovial. We instantly fell in love with him and the beautiful country. It was the perfect combination!
We saw hundreds of lions, many rhinos both black and white (especially in Nakuru and Masai Mara) seven leopards including 2 kills, cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, giraffes, wild dogs in Samburu, big herds of elephants and many many more. This was the best vacation we have ever had. I am coming back next year with my family and friends and we have already started planning. I can't wait to meet the entire Bateleur Eagle Safaris team! Thanks a lot for a life changing experience
