Expert service for excellent price
The communication of the team exceeded any expectations from the start - my email and whatsapp messages got quick responses at all hours.
The tour arrangements were efficient and professional. We needed to store some luggage for the duration of the safari, and this was handled without any extra hassles for us.
The safari itself was a very memorable experience, including the (looong) drive, the accommodation, and of course, Masai Mara. Our guide Joshua was knowledgeable, relaxed and accommodating to our wishes.
I would happily repeat the trip!

Tanja, our South Africa expert was superb. She put together a brilliant three week package.
Everything was perfect from start to finish. We had a very limited budget but Tanja our South Africa expert provided all that we asked for and more. She was efficient, listened to our comments and requests and gave us more than we could have expected. The personal recommendations added to it greatly and she even managed to meet up with us to say hello. I would have no hesitation in recommending her and this company.

Great safari and great experience
I had a great experience in Safari with Tanzania Mwangaza, it was for 3 days and 2 nights between Mikumi park and udzungwa national park hikking and see the waterfalls, I've enjoyed every moment with them, my guide Bob was great and friendly. I had the chance to see most of the animals at the park. The stay at Camp Bastian was simply very good.
Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience.

Nightmare - Do not use this safari company
There are many bad reviews of this company. 14% are 1-star on TripAdvisor as of this writing. Please listen to them to save yourself the money, hassle, and discomfort my daughter and I endured, as well as a threat of bank account fraud.
We were picked up at the airport as scheduled, but in an old, broken safari vehicle with broken seat belts and an overall dirty, filthy condition.
We were immediately told we needed to pay an additional $200 per person on top of the $1,750 per person we had already paid. She said the additional $400 would be to stay at a tent camp, not the upscale Serena Hotel we were promised and paid for. THIS IS A DECEPTIVE SCAM. It apparently happened to the last two reviewers as well.
We went to this tent camp, which we were promised was as upscale as the hotel, but it was far from. These accommodations were subpar to what we paid for and what we were promised. This was a true bait-and-switch. We demanded to be taken to the hotel we prepaid for, and the driver refused to take us. Martha didn't answer the phone. The driver said he didn't have the money or reservation for our hotel we were promised and we were again stuck in this very basic tent camp. We felt as though we were being held against our will in the middle of nowhere.
The safari vehicle itself was broken down and in poor condition. Some issues included broken off seatbelts, a broken hood latch so the hood kept bouncing up in our view, the radio didn't work, and the car was unkempt and dirty. It was not comfortable, particularly when we paid for a premium experience.
The only good thing was that we saw a lot of animals. The driver was unprofessional and smelled (poor personal hygiene).
At the end of the trip, we were supposed to go to the airport to depart. We thought we were on the way to the airport, and the driver took us to a gas station. At that point, Martha (from the beginning of the trip) got into our vehicle. The driver took us so slowly to the airport, we felt we were behind held against our will, as Martha accosted us about an email complaint. She threatened to have us arrested.
We eventually made it to the airport and they refused to let us out of the car. They threatened us and yelled at us. Finally, 45 minutes before our international flight time, we were able to get out of the car and rush to our flight.
After returning home, we wrote a negative review here on TripAdvisor. The tour company contacted us and agreed to a $900 refund if we removed this review. They never sent any partial refund. They told us they would only send any partial refund if we gave our bank account routing and account number, which is the last thing anyone should ever do with their bank account. They would not refund to our original payment method or send via Western Union.
This company is fraudulent and made me and my daughter feel unsafe and uncomfortable. Do not go with your family. Do not go with your friends. Do not use this tour operator under any circumstances. Take your money and your business elsewhere. You will have a much better trip for it.

Tremedous stay with a very friendly and highly capable staff.
We have been on the 6 days Safari tour staying in Tremisana lodge. The organisation is absolutely perfect. I wonder how the staff is organizing this challenge because there is a coming and going of visitors every day with different stays and differant Safari trips at also different locations. The guides and drivers are highly professional people who know their job, the driving, nature and wildlife perfectly. At dinner they are sitting and eating together with the guests like a big family. Stories about their professional carrier about wildlife and even their personnel situation and their family are told and there is a real feeling of understanding and sympathy coming up. One guy, called "Yannemann" is a very talentated great storyteller a bit like Hemingway, who tells his adventures in a special, very sympathic way. The food is top, the accomodations rustique but very nice the beds and matraces perfect, equiped with mosquito nets.
What can a tourist expect more ? I really dont know.
From my side and my wife, not a single complain.
Viva Safaris, . . . . one of the top 3 experiences of holidays we ever had in our life.

A great local company - thanks Antony for the unforgettable trip!
I'm a research freak and I like planning things to a T. When I started planning this trip I did lots of research, and I spoke to around 10 different companies. Tazama really stood out from the rest due to two reasons. 1, how quickly Antony responded and 2, the quote was reasonably priced. I also like the itinerary and the choice of accommodation that they offered. Everything was very well planned.
When we arrived we were disappointed to find out that the Antony we had been speaking to was not available (since his son was in the hospital which was perfectly understandable), so he sent another Antony to take care of us. Yet the trip still turned out to be great! Antony was always on time, has lots of knowledge about the animals and the culture, and he always knows where to take us, to makes sure we see everything. The 4x4 is my favourite - it was very comfortable, very clean and it was good fun to be driven around in that.
On the last day they even took us to the Giraffe Centre and treated us to dinner at Carnivore, which wasn't included in the trip as we discussed. What a surprise! Thanks for the arrangement :)
I love Kenya - love the safari, the culture, the people and everything. We will definitely be back and when we do, we will certainly speak to Tazama again.

Very nice tour!
In March of 2019 we did a 7 day gorilla/chimp tour with our guide Dan. We made quite some changes to the original initiatory to suit our travel needs, and we always got a fast reaction to all of our mails.
We were picked up from Entebbe airport and first had 3 days for our self in Kampala. then we did our safari. The lodges were beautiful (much better then we expected). And our guide was really kind.
We had the option to be dropped of in Kigali (Rwanda) after the safari had ended so we would have some days there as well.
In the end we're really happy we choose Kisoro!

The Safari of a Lifetime made easy
From the first contact with Natasha until our trip was booked the process was tailored to my needs. Natasha listened to what I wanted from our safari experience and made suggestions and provided options so we could tailor the trip to meet our needs. After we finalized our plans Natasha continued to stay in touch with us to make sure we had all the information we were ready to go. When we had airline problems she was ready to help us make an alternate plan if needed. I would be happy to book another trip with Sun Safaris and Natasha. We had the trip of a lifetime and it was all possible because of great planning and help from this group. Thanks so much for making this happen.

Unforgettable, great experience
We went on a week tour to Queen Elizabeth and Lake Mburo. It was an unforgettable journey and we enjoyed every minute!
The tours arranged were always well organized, interesting and a good mix. Emma our guide was just perfect. He knows and explained us a lot about culture, animals, plants etc. We can definitely recommend the trip and Buffalo to others.
