All expectations exceeded!!!
5/5

I booked two tours, one 8 days and one 7 days to maximise the time spent in the Serengeti and the area around (like Ngorongoro mainly).
The first tour was with Protus and his chef Fenna. Well what can I say? Both just did an amazing job!! Protus is a perfect tour guide, absolutely knowledgable about flora and fauna with 14 years of experience as a safari guide. A calm gentleman who is always focussed on making sure that his guests have a nice safari trip.
We saw all big five (even a rhino!), many many lions and even a leopard relaxing on the tree. And Protus even managed to show us thousands of migrating zebras and wildebeests which was a very special event!
Fenna was an amazing chef, all his meals were excellent, especially if you consider the limited facilities given in a camping site environment.

Tour number 2 was with David as a guide and his chef Jacob. There's not much I can add because tour number 2 was just as amazing as tour number 1! David is a great tour guide who found all the wildlife, he literally smells the animals! We saw many many lions and showed us the wildebeest migration at River Mara which was fantastic! He is always energetic and has lots of humour.
Jacob is a hell of a chef who provided many delicious meals (every meal he cooked). I can absolutely recommend this tour operator to anyone considering to go on a safari tour. The only reason why I chose them before was the overwhelmingly positive feedback (considering the fact that safari tours are rather expensive my number one priority was to invest the money in a conpany I could trust) and now I know that it is absolutely justified!
Thank you so much for the great tours, I would always do it again!!

PS: There is only one negative aspect which does not change the fact how much I enjoyed the tour - and how much you are probably going to enjoy the tour, but it is important to me. You will be expected (you have to) to give a tip of $10 a day to the guide. DO NOT get me wrong the guides absolutely deserved it and it was a pleasure to tip them for their great services. My concern is that the guides depend on the tips to make a living, they get barely paid by their companies. So here comes the issue: Since you have to give a $10 tip per day you will probably not give much more, so basically you give them their salary but they are not going to get much tip money (in the most cases, the exception proves the rule). This allows the companies to maximise their profits - at the expenses of the guide (and chefs of course because they get less tips!!) and they can make the tours appear to look cheaper (since you pay $10 per day more in cash).
But this probably doesn't just apply to this tour operator but safari tour operators in general.

Everything planned was realised in 100 %.
5/5

The contact from the first day was really good. We've spent over 2 weeks with this company. We've done everything that was planned. Not only have we seen a lot of different animals, but also we've spent some time getting to know the culture itself. Really worth going.

African Coast Travel and Tours; especially Joseph were absolutely wonderful; HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!
5/5

The Safari Package was Wonderful! We arrived in Zimbabwe and were picked up by Cryface (who is one of the kindest people I have met) and took us to our hotel; we went for a night cruise. The next morning we were picked up promptly and I opted to do the Microlight over Victoria Falls (sign up for this) and spent the afternoon at Victoria Falls, did a Lion Walk (sign up for this) followed by an evening at the Boma. The third day we went to Botswana for an incredible water/ land safari and loved every minute of it. The last morning we woke up to the roaring of Victoria Falls. Our hotels were fantastic - Victoria Falls Safari Lodge and Victoria Falls Hotel. On our last day, Joseph was able to join us and take us to the airport. He made sure we had the best vacation and cannot wait to rebook with Joseph and his team on another wonderful African Stay. I highly recommend this company! An Incredible and Breathtaking Experience
5/5

I went on a Safari as part of a group of 12 with Go Explore Safaris in early August 2018. It was an incredible experience and one I would not change in any way.

Our safari was based in the beautiful Queen Elizabeth National Park. We saw so many amazing animals such as Warhogs, Buffaloes, Chimpanzees, Water bucks, Uganda Kobs, Leopards, Hippos, Lions, Monkeys, Rhinos, Elephants and more. Go Explore Safaris did their absolute best to ensure we saw these animals while out exploring.

On day one we were handed an outstanding itenery which included so many activities, such as multiple game drives, chimpanzee trekking and a trip on a boat on a lake. It was all very well organized and so much was packed into our limited time there.

We stayed at Buffalo Safari Lodge which is located in Queen Elizabeth National Park. We were treated like royalty. The breakfast, lunch and suppers were delicious. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The views were unbelievable. The staff were very friendly and willing to do anything for us. You really felt at one with the wildlife in the park.

Brian was our main tour guide and was the one who organized the entire trip for us. He was fantastic. He was very easy to get along with and extremely efficient in every aspect of the Safari. He could not have done more to ensure we had the very best experience of Queen Elizabeth National Park. I could not fault Brian in any way, he is what all Safari men should aspire to be.

I would recommend Go Explore Safaris to anyone interested in doing a Safari in Africa and I honestly don’t think anyone could be disappointed with their service.

We loved every moment of our 5 days camping safari!
5/5

We loved every moment of our 5 days camping safari with Suricata Safaris. Booking and communication was really easy as Hilary, the owner, replied immediately to my inquiry and all of our questions. He organised a pickup for us as well as an airport transfer afterwards. We were 2 friends and were paired up with another 2 young travellers and spent 5 days in Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks. Our guide and driver Freddie knew absolutely everything about the animals and approached them with respect and admiration. It’s that sort of attitude you want your guide to have. We saw so many animals and even the great migration in the north of Serengeti and the famous wildebeest river crossing! If you travel with Freddie, don’t forget to ask him what his favourite animal is, his sense of humour is brilliant :)
Hilda was our chef and we still have no idea how she managed to prepare all the amazing feasts for us in the middle of the wild on a tiny portable stove with almost no light just from supplies we brought with us.
The camping option is a proper camping and although each campsite has washrooms and flushing toilets, electricity is not a given so make sure you have flashlights and appropriate clothes, it got very cold in Ngorongoro campsite in late July at night, you need a few layers.

We totally recommend choosing Suricata Safaris. It's a smaller company with a very friendly and personal approach that you simply do not get with larger tourist operators. All the people we met were amazing and passionate about their jobs. Hilary simply lives for his company and makes sure his clients are happy, it’s so nice to meet somebody who loves his job as much as he does.

spendid safari outing with the Mogalakwena Safari team
5/5

From Namibia we did self drive , and booked our safari with Mogalakwena for a camping experience, we had fun, we enjoyed our safari camping, we couldn't ask for something better than this, though our 4x4 seemed to struggle with the sand, the guides managed to find a way out, we are happy but please next time bring a many tents we had to share , though we had no problem in sharing, we liked your local food and enjoyed travelling around seeing local made products, what stood out was the mokoro trail was my first time, anxious and afraid but it was adventurous.

Convey my greetings to Martha the chef, we miss you see you next time.

Seeing amazing nature with a 5-star organization
5/5

We booked a 5-day private tour with Shemeji, visiting Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Emma was very helpful and provided all the necessary information in a timely fashion.

We enjoyed the safari very much. Everything was extremely well organized, Joseph was an exceptional guide. He did his best to spot the animals, regardless whether big or small (btw, we found all big fives...).

We were also very pleased with the accommodation and services provided (if we do not consider a misbehaved stray elephant, which managed to empty our water tank in the tented camp during night :-)

During our 5-day experience we fully realized the meaning of words "Karibu (welcome)" and "Pole pole (slow slow or no hurry/stress)"...

Highly recommended!

Asante sana, Joseph, Emma and Shemeji!
