I explored Uganda for 12 days with Buyaga Safaris. The country is very diverse the culture, landscape, and wildlife can change a lot when traveling from one region to the next. The biggest highlights for myself as a wildlife photographer where the primates. I had the opportunity to photograph several monkey species, chimpanzee, and mountain gorillas.

This is where you find millions of what Tanzanian wildlife has to offer.

Unfortunetly I didn't get to stick around the area long enough to do much for birding. The park was beautiful and the gorillas were of coarse the highlight of my brief time in Bwindi.

Probably my favorite park from my time in Uganda. Chimpanzee trekking was amazing of coarse, but there was so much more there. Many monkey species many beautiful birds. I could have very easily spent much more time here exploring.

Had some pretty good luck birding in this park. Got to see some really good Barbet species. The big wildlife was many of the species I had already had the opportunity to see so I mostly focused on birds during my short stay here.

The roads leading to this park are extremely rugged. The park itself is really nice, unfortunately my time here was too short to get a good feel of everything this park has to offer. That said the golden monkey trek was really good in-spite of all the rain.

Review about Murchison Falls National Park by Levi Jacob Morris

The park has some diversity of settings but the main area's we explored were the savanna habitat and the area along the river leading to Murchison Falls. There is a good diversity of antelope species and therefore predators. We saw lions but unfortunately no leopards. The river cruise was good for seeing many bird species as well as hippos, buffalo, and elephants enjoying and escape from the heat of the day.

Review about Queen Elizabeth National Park by Levi Jacob Morris

The wildlife here was in lower numbers than many other parks I visited on this trip and in Tanzania. The river cruise did have some good birding opportunities. The daytime game drives didn't do as well we did see Ugandan Kob, Elephants, and Waterbucks there was a very brief lion sighting. Perhaps I was simply spoiled by having better luck on previous game drives. We spent the better part of 3 days here and I would have gladly traded one of those days in for an additional day in Kibale or Bwindi.
