A knowledgeable and competent tour operator who makes his guests feel safe and at home in the bush
Our family (including two teenagers) spent 12 nights in Moremi Game Reserve with Okavango Exploration Safaris on a semi-participation mobile safari and we had an experience of a lifetime. Theno, our safari guide and owner, is a brilliant, competent safari guide whose knowledge of the bush, animals and birds meant that we felt in safe hands all the time. We had fantastic sightings, including a pack of painted dogs (wild dogs) which we were fortunate enough to see three days in a row. It was such a privilege to see these beautiful, endangered animals in their natural habit. Theno's capacity to "read the bush" meant that we also saw two male leopards, a pride of five male lions, honey badgers, hyenas and the list goes on and on! Moremi was bursting with wonderful bird-life - it is a bird-watcher's paradise and Theno will take the time to find and identify any bird, for those who are interested. We never felt rushed and, unlike those staying at the safari lodges who are on a strict curfew, we were able to take our time and soak up the sights and sounds of magical Moremi. Theno's love of the bush and animals made this possible. Thank you, Theno: it is clearly not just a job for you, but a way of living and being. Delicious meals were provided by Muyambo (supported by Ante), as well as wonderful, freshly made bread and muffins, all of which were baked in the camp-fire. Semi-participation meant we participated in erecting and dismantling out tents and generally helped unpack/pack a few things away - it was not at all difficult and made us feel more a part of the experience. We are longing to go back.

Great customer care services and satisfying services
The tour was amazing quite an adventure that I will always rewind back to appreciate the great experience I had, the company's services were amazing, I love the fact that they picked us up and still dropped us back, communication with us the client was paramount in such a way that before anything was done the tour guides of the company explained to us to details, accommodations was 10/10 and to sum it up our money was given value.

It was a wildly beautiful experience.
I really enjoyed my trip. Being my first time to go to the Mara i must say it didn't dissapoint one bit. The travel logistics from time keeping to the accomodation, to the game drive it was all quite commendable. I’d go on another safari with Landsman Experience in a heartbeat
Traveling with Landsman Experience was an extraordinary adventure that ranks among the best of my life. Joining a group of 15 photographers ranging from professionals to novices, I anticipated capturing images of animals I had only dreamed of seeing. The whole experience surpassed my expectations. Not only do I have the shots of a lifetime, but I also left with an appreciation and understanding of the Tanzanian culture which has had a profound impact on me. We visited a Maasai village, ate at a local family’s home, observed the bushmen hunting and learned how the Datoga tribe lives off of recycled material.
The guides were deeply knowledgeable about animal behavior, which lead us to seeing things like a pride of 11 lions eating a giraffe, over a hundred hippos splashing in the river, and seeing all of the Big 5!! Let me tell you, it’s not easy! I couldn’t even spot a lion that was in a bush 5 feet from me. Thank goodness for the guides!
After my first safari, I know that if ever get the opportunity to go on another I would never venture into the bush without a guide and I would definitely choose Landsman Experience again. Honestly, one of my favorite parts about the safari was getting to know the guides. They work extremely hard, but they also know how to make the experience delightful! Asante sana from the bottom of my heart!

Amazing trip with Peter!
We had a very nice 5-days trip over the Easter break with Peter, travelling across Rwanda and Uganda and seeing Chimps, Gorillas and Golden Monkeys.
Before the trip Peter was very responsive and flexible to accomodate our requests and make the trip as customized as needed, we really appreciated this as it felt the trip was perfect for us!! Once we arrived, everything was very smooth and all the experiences truly enjoyable, with a mix of nature, culture and society. Peter is a very knowledgeable guide and shared with us a lot of insights as we were travelling together.
Bonus points for the 2 lodges we stayed at in Uganda: really beautiful and with a great service level.
Will definitely recommend Peter and the Big Apes Safari team to friends and family planning to visit Uganda or Rwanda!

Amazing service at very good rate.
We did safari with them in 2022. Masai Mara, hello's gate and nakuru lake. We were looking for a cheap price and we got with papiro. Cheap doesn't means bad service, we had amazing time with them and really unforgettable experience. Thanks to John and the crew for this magical experience.

great experience
Due to the good reviews and also the fair price, my husband and I decided to go on a one-day safari to Nyerere National Park with Shammah Wonders Safari. We opted for the private tour and it was perfect. Immediately after booking, I was contacted via WhatsApp and then kept up to date. We really liked that. We flew from Zanzibar directly to the park by plane. We were met there by our tour guide Elly and we immediately liked him very much. Elly did everything he could to ensure that we saw as many animals as possible and always drove very close to the animals so that we could admire them in peace. He also told us lots of interesting facts about the animals. You can tell that he really loves his job. We had a really great day with Elly and have fond memories of this safari. We can therefore only recommend the tour. We also recommend booking the private version, as you get a lot out of it and the safari is also customised and you stay with your favourite animals for a long time.

Professional knowledgeable tour company who made our safari experience AMAZING!!!!
We scheduled our safari experience 1 year in advance of our travel date. This company kept in touch with us and made sure we were aware of all the things we needed for a great safari so that we could pack accordingly. When we arrived at the airport we were greeted by our driver and the safari adventure began. Our tour was educational, informative and we were very fortunate as our driver is a member of the Masai tribe, and shared additional cultural information. We were able to witness the big 5. In one word - I would describe this vacation as Amazing - a lifetime experience - one you will remember like no other.

8 Days of exciting magical Kenya safari
We spent our 8 days on a magical safari in Kenya’s national parks. While planning our trip, Bracius was great at communication. He responded to WhatsApp messages within a few minutes. Our driver and guide was Hudson. First day was in Samburu national park at the wonderful Samburu Sopa lodge. The place was beautiful. We saw a lioness stalking giraffes and a mama cheetah with 4 babies. Hudson was a great driver and had lots of patience and experience. He was good at spotting animals even at a distance. We went to Lake Naivasha and Hells Gate. We went on a beautiful hike in Hells Gate and learned a lot about Masai culture from the local guide.Masai Mara was unforgettable as we saw so many animals. Saw one female leopard up close and then one male leopard stalking and hunting a topi,. The vast expanse of plains was mind blowing. Next place was Lake Nakuru where we saw many white rhinos and flamingos. Then Amboseli we witnessed families of elephants feeding and bathing. Next was Tsavo - maneaters lodge next to the river was amazing. There was an elephant walking through the lodge grounds and we heard him eating near our tent in the night. Everything ran smoothly. The hotels and lodges were comfortable with delicious food, especially the Sopa lodges and Lake Nakuru Lodge. All was well organized. It was an amazing and unforgettable trip. Felt truly like we had come back home - there is an indescribable energy in the air. Kenya is working hard to preserve these wild places and really appreciate the people for taking care of the places. We are already planning to come back to Kenya with our two kids. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!
