I think that all the tour was marvelous, the comunication on somewhere places was dificult but, another good the explain to animals life, the proximity with them was an unique experience. The hotels services, the travelers on safari cars, the food and the living together with the natives people. When i can see since my room the hippos on its natural hábitat its an undescriptible sensation, i really love this, thanks sweet África Safaris.

Coolest safari can't wait to do it again!
5/5

The Safari went on schedule as planned on the itinerary. The tour guide had thorough knowledge of the places and best locations to view the animals. I really enjoyed my stay, thanks to the hospitality right from the booking right until executing the travel. Highly recommended

We were extremely pleased with our safari. Johnson was very focused on ensuring that our expectations and interests were met. He included some interesting touches to our safari that made for an extra special experience. Just a great overall experience!

Amazing safari with world tours safaris
5/5

Thanks to Richard for this amazing 6 days safari. Our driver Stanley and our cooker suko were very good and friendly. They did their best for us and we saw the big five. The food was very good. It was incredible and we really loved our safari. All is provided from the agency (tents, pillow, mattress, food, water.....). During the safari we felt very safe. Definitely i recommand the tour with world tours and safari tanzania

Effecient booking, reliable service, excellent driver/guide - would recommend & use them again
4/5

Everything went very smoothly and we had an incredible and exciting holiday. The mid range hotels were charming and in excellent locations. Gorilla trekking is SO worth the money and we loved the chimpanzee trek too and all experiences suggested by the company. We were well looked after by our driver/guide who was intelligent, amusing and very keen for us to experience much that Uganda has to offer. My only negative comment is that he ate all our meals with us so he was with us all day, every day. Perhaps Katona should allow guests breakfast and dinner without the guide.

An absolutely horrible experience.

Hi, I had booked a tour with them in 2014 for a 26 day tour to Botswana. I had paid a sum of $30,700 to them. Unfortunately, I had visa issues and due to that the agent said he will adjust it next year and also the fact that he will apply the visa from his end. Next year, we waited and waited as we had sent all documents to him, but the visa never came in 2015 also. When I went to the embassy again in 2016 as so much of my life savings was stuck, I was shocked to know that he had never applied for my visa to begin with. I was informed by the immigration officer that he has clearly cheated me. I wrote a safari review and due to their intervention, he decided to adjust my holiday again next year. Finally my visa came in July 2016 and Calvin Machekano of Love Africa Safaris said that due to non availability of lodges, he will have to book new lodges and took an additional $8615 from us. We really didnt have a choice as $30700 was already given to him earlier which now brought the total amount to approx $40,000.

I am a photographer and had requested a landcruiser for myself. Anyway after arriving there, much to our shock, a 30 year old broken vehicle with no floor and holes and a ten inch platform to sit on and totally open from all sides was provided to us by his representative and guide, Steven Bond Mubi, which we were expected to do our surface transport to various parks (some of them 6-7 hours away) as well as safaris for the next 25 days. Upon concern, we were threatened by this guide that he will not go with us. But as a woman, to travel on highways in such a vehicle when we had paid for something else was unacceptable. Upon contacting Calvin of Love Africa Safaris he failed to do anything about it and insisted that we go in that vehicle with the same guide who was very temperamental and kept threatening us. We absolutely refused to go in such a vehicle with a guide, who according to local sources suffered from some mental problem and was thrown from South Africa four years back. He came with an accomplice called Prince the morning we were to leave for the KHWAI concession in this beaten down vehicle and both of them threatened us. We were clearly now scared for our lives as with two of these characters going on a highway was impossible. We contacted the agent who refused to take our calls anymore. The guide, Steven Bond Mubi thereby left us and our luggage on the roadside and left.

We were left with no reservation, no hotel and no transportation on the roadside in a strange country. After 6 and a half hours of waiting in the sun we finally got accommodation in Airport hotel, Maun, where we spent the next three days trying to book our return journey, shocked and disappointed. After having given this agent $40,000 we just didnt have any money to hire another agent to finish our holiday. While we waited for our tickets to be rescheduled, we met with the police, consumer affairs and Botswana embassy people, who on initial investigation found that not only had he cheated us but also pocketed our $30700 and the new amount of $8615 was all for fresh bookings. We had to let go of all ur money and the entire holiday. We had to spend an additional $1000 to change our tickets back home. We have lodged an official complaint and have a letter from the embassy of Botswana as evidence. All terms and condition, including safari vehicles pictures and what vehicle was given to us - I have all the evidence. A 400 page complaint has been sent to all concerned authorities. I just want to warn everyone that never to go with this agent or his guide. I have lost all my life savings and came back empty handed. Besides this $40,000 international tickets cost us an additional $5000 . We not only lost a lot of money but also the experience of a beautiful country. As pointed out by the police commissioner of Maun, Calvin Machekano of Love Africa Safaris along with his associates, Steven Bond Mubi & Prince did this deliberately and robbed us. We have filed an official complaint of fraud and cheating against them. Please note that we have all evidence and acceptance letter by the police and consumer affairs Botswana.

Bwindi gorilla tracking, chimpanzees tracking and splendid bunyonyi lake
5/5

We were really lucky to choose Katona. First of all we want to give compliments to Jackie who was astonishing fast in replaying on all our requests about journey and managed to schedule splendid safaris (4x) with chimpanzee/gorilla tracking in less than 14 days. Our guide Richard was the great implementor of the plan. Who would resisted a divine bush breakfast in NP made by him? Boat trip to Pygmies, Punishment island and Upside down island was just the icing on the cake.

great way to see and get closer to the safaris and the local environment
4/5

Initially we had a hard time to find a safari that was not ridiculously expensive. We also didn't want a level of luxury that distance you from the experience itself. World Tours was a perfect match. We are glad we took the private camping option having only the two of us during the trip. It gave us the flexibility to stop and look at what was of most interest to us. The safari was well organized and our driver and cook were fantastic. Always accommodating, always willing to show or explain anything we seemed to be interested in.
In hen-site I wished we had asked for an option to do some hikes and not spend all time just been driven around.

Richard the owner is very responsive and helpful. Payment went well and we definitely had one of a lifetime experience.

Amazing safari and excelent staff
5/5

First experience via email with Foot slopes was amazing :) they replied all my questions and we decided to travel with them and it was very good choice because they provided the service just as promised. It was 4 days joining safari and we went to Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We had 2 guides, first one was Joshua and second Juma. They were both very profesional. They had good knowledge of animals and helpful. All was very good organized, on time and without any problems. We are very satisfied with quality of the service and we can recomand you Foot Slopes :)

A good safari, but planning and driver could be better.
3/5

Very good coverage by the agency at the airport. Good communication with the agency. Good service in the hotel before and after the safari.
The guide was more interested by the girls of the group than in his work of guide
We lost too much time to go shopping (1/2 day on the first day and 1/2 day on the last day)
Bad planning of the day. We had to build up tents in the night and have the diner around 10 PM
The driver did not respect the rules in the park (driving out of ways)
Overspeed on the road is not safe (the driver toke a overspeed bill)
