Amazing Trip with Congo Discovery Safaris!
Highly recommended. My wife and I went on an 8-day tour with Congo Discovery Safaris through Uganda, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo and had a wonderful time. It was our first trip to Africa and Ken, Barack and Jared made it very easy on us. Prior to the tour I emailed with Barack and asked a million questions, but he was always very responsive, kind and helpful.
We met Ken (Barack's brother) and Jared (the best driver I've ever seen) in Uganda and toured with them throughout the country and in Rwanda as well. They were both incredibly nice people and a lot of fun to be around. We saw tons of animals including lions, hippos, elephants, warthogs, hyenas, crocodiles, etc. We then went to Congo to meet Barack and go gorilla trekking and hike up Mt. Nyiragongo - both were incredible experiences that we will never forget.
I would highly recommend Congo Discovery Safaris as everyone we met was very nice and helpful and great tour guides. At no point during the trip did we feel like we weren't taken care of and we always felt completely safe and comfortable. An incredible time and I would love to do another trip with this group. Honestly, they were just great people in general.

True adventure
I absolutely loved my camping experience with Walking Stick Tours. I was very well cared for by Philomon and his helpers. It was an adventure I had dreamed of to be in the midst of African wildlife. Being the only guest was icing on the cake. I will definitely use this company again when I am able to return to Botswana. Philomon was very knowledgeable and I felt secure at all times with him. He was willing to help me get great photos. I highly recommend WST.

Very good communication and organization
The communications before the safari were easy and helpful, trying to adapt to all my needs and to help me enjoy my time in Tanzania. The safari itself was even better than I expected, the organization was good, even though sometimes it might not be easy for Europeans to get used to the Tanzanian tempo, during the safari the scheduled times were always respected, staying in the parks until the last minute to enjoy them thoroughly. The food was very tasty and the driver very knowledgeable.

All aspects of the tour were great from booking to our time under the care of Africa Zim Tours.
Our communication with Africa Zim was first rate right from our initial contact with Sheila and all aspects of the tour were as expected and more. Our tour guide, Blessing, was a most friendly and efficient tour director of our time and always ensured that we were prepared and that we were all at the right place at the right time. He went out of his way to make sure we could incorporate our various requests during our 4 day trip. Our accommodations at Bayete Lodge and Hwange Safari Lodge suited us perfectly and we enjoyed all the aspects of both - both so picturesque with good food and friendly people. Victoria Falls was a wonderful experience despite the rain and the Boma dinner was so much fun. Our game drives at Hwange were amazing and we saw a wide variety of animals and birds. Our game drive guide, who Blessing arranged, was most informative about the animals and birds that we encountered and there was never a rush when we met up with the various wildlife. It was certainly a trip of a lifetime. Thanks you African Zim!

Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the animals. He treated everyone on safari well. Our tour was made at the last minute & we only had a short time so the tour company was flexible. They offered us a number of options for us to choose from. I loved every minute!

Unforgettable experience in Africa.
Everything was way better than what we were expecting. It is our first visit to Africa and we definitely want to go back as soon as possible. The service and communication was fantastic, they have a person who speaks Spanish just for us, he name is Niko, and he was with us the entire trip. He made possible to have the best trip ever. He took us to different hotels. The more we were in the middle of the serengeti the more exotic the hotel. There are tons of things to do there and I promise, you will remember every single experience for your entire life. Thanks to Niko and Susane, we had the best honeymoon we could ever have.

Its was awesome!
It was perfect organised! We spent 2 nights in Serengeti and 1 night in Ngorongoro with a group of 5 people. Thomas was a really good guide, we saw the zebra migrations and a lot of cats, cheetahs and a leopard. Freddy cooked delicious food for us .Overall we were extremely happy with the trip!

Beautiful safari, extremely welcoming, great service, good food...highly recommended
We did a 4-day camping safari with 3 Wonders to the Serengeti and Ngorongoro. We were on a tight budget, so we scanned different companies and safari offers. At first we were a bit sceptical about the low price (lower than any other company even though we had all 3 nights in the parks instead of only 1 or 2) but they exceeded all our expectations. Phabian was extremely quick to respond to all our questions and super friendly once we got to Arusha. Overall the safari was perfect for what you can expect on a budget camping trip: lots of animals, great organization, qualified and friendly guide, good food, new car and equipment, no extra costs, free night in Arusha... anything you could ask for. Thanks a lot

The perfect gorilla/ chimps tour, in a wonderful country and at an affordable price
The tour was above our (high) expectations, although we use to travel a lot and have visited many countries.
Everything was perfect, from the pick up at the airport to the end.
We got our gorilla permits, nice but affordable accomodation, a great guide, friendly and professional.
We went there to see the gorillas and discovered a fantastic country: amazing landscapes (thje kisoro area is incredible), great people (we felt 100% safe everywhere), unique wildlife. We definitely want to come back for the northern loop.
Yes, the gorilla permits are expensive but i didn't met anyone there who had any regret. Just the road in the misty mountains would be worth the trip. It may be stressful to pay in advance for the permits, but GT seems perfectly reliable.
Gorillas are very special, they have a charisma that i never felt with any other animal and are so peaceful.
Just go for it. It's an experience you will never forget.
