Very professional company - Michael is the best guide in Zanzibar!
Michael our guide was amazing. He knows where to find all the animals, can spot them from kilometres away and is VERY knowledgeable about the national parks, their history and the animals and vegetation. We travelled during low season and still saw every animal, thanks to Michael. We learned a lot from Michael, including about Tanzanian culture and it’s people. He made our experience very special, we spent one week with him and will remember it forever.
The accommodations during our safari were excellent, as was the communication from Meijo Safaris. The food was great (there was a lot of food!) and it was great to share a delicious meal in the great outdoors every day.
Highly recommend Meijo Safaris. Kudos to Michael for making this such as special trip, the most knowledgeable guide and best driver in Tanzania!!

Excellent
This was my first safari in an open vehicle (I have done two previously in a van/Kombi) and it makes all the difference! Our guide, Petrus, was really informative and funny and made sure we all got great pictures.

Fun Day Out, very knowledgeable guide
Pietro was very friendly and knowledgable, he joined in the banter of our family group and had a great sense of humour. We all felt at ease and had a great laugh. At the business end, he had a lot of interesting information about everything we saw, and also gave us the historical or lighthearted local stories that you don't get on google! Ie, how the water buck got its rear marking. The jeeps keep in touch about sightings and so we saw Leopard that we might not otherwise have found. I would recommend this tour day to anyone.

He is engaging, knowledgeable, thorough and he loves what he does.
Benjamin was very thorough in the planning of our entire trip. He added an extra city we wanted to see and found an excellent guide that met all of our expectations. He accommodated every request and made sure we were taken care of in every way, including making some of our meals. He was just as excited to see the sites of Johannesburg and the animals in the bush as we were. He has a sharp eye and spotted many of the animals before we did. He is very knowledgeable of the plants, animals and insects of the bush. I highly recommend him, especially if you have a special request and want your tour to be more than just your regular safari.

Lucy provided excellent communication and service from the start and created a tailored Safari experience according to my strict timelines.
The whole team went beyond expectations to ensure I was well supported and taken care of. Very experienced and knowledgeable drivers who really made the safari experiences memorable.
Alvin operated as my tour guide and driver for Amboseli. Very knowledgeable and great company. Went out of his way to ensure I had the best views of Mt Kilimanjaro and extra even took me to extra attractions such as the Giraffe Centre.
Albert operated as my tour guide and driver for Masai Mara. With his skill and knowledge we were able to experience some amazing close up views of lions, elephants, cheetahs and more.
Overall I was able to experience everything I wanted and would highly recommend to others, extremely reliable and great value for money.

We just wrapped up an incredible 7-day safari organized by Mark, and it was hands down the best trip of our lives! We started with two nights at Phezulu Lodge in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, and then spent four nights in Botswana's Okavango Delta, staying at Splash and Mma Dinare lodges with Kwando Safaris.
Even though we visited in mid-season at the end of April, the wildlife sightings were out of this world. We saw lions, cheetahs, elephants, buffalo, wild dogs, hippos, and hundreds of birds, plus many more amazing animals. The motorboat excursion and mokoro experience were absolute highlights.
Mark, our Gondwana tour consultant, was fantastic from start to finish. He was super helpful, always available, and gave us detailed instructions, visa information and packing lists that made everything so much easier. He set the right expectations and kept everything realistic, which we really appreciated. He was also able to provide great value for money given how expensive Botswana is and has provided the most competitive offer. :-)
This was by far our favorite and most memorable trip ever, and we can't thank Mark and the team enough for making it so special. If you're thinking about a safari, go with these guys – you won't regret it!

Decent Safari experience with the guide asking about tip everytime
The experience of Safari was really valuable, except our guide keep talking us about tipping him whenever he has some free time, which made us very upset.
Tip your driver and guide is not a mandatory thing. I want to tip someone only if I am satisfied with the service. But our guide was quite demanding, keep asking about it. Now all I remember from the Safari is ripping off from the tour guide lol
The time we spent at Safari was only 3-4 hours, and we could see wild animals like giraffs and elephant etc.
We are not lucky enough to come across liones or leopards.
It was a precious experience, but I can not recoomend you taking a SUV for more than 7 hours from dar es salaam to Mikumi.

You can rely on Widman tour and Safari. Always quick response and easy communication
The driver drives super safe and fast. I was able to be relaxed thanks to him even though traffic here does not look safe. Tour guide, Salehe, was super nice guy. He did his best to make us happy and satisfaction.
I was little disappointed that I could not see many types of animals but that’s not the one we can control.
Overall it was very nice experience.
