The most amazing way to start out Africa adventure
5/5

From the moment our tour began, it was smooth sailing. Richard our guide was wonderful. So friendly, knowledgeable and truly made our experience one to remember. The service and organisation was amazing - we didn’t have to think or worry about a thing. Thanks Richard for such a personal experience. We look forward to doing it all again one day.

Choosing Asante Safaris to plan our Tanzania Journey was our best travel decision ever.
5/5

We initially reviewed a number of travel companies and selected Asante because of the sample itinerary (including Selous Game Reserve) and PURE luck. Renny Hunt (the Asante resident-in-chief based in Arusha) and Ricky Sirikwa (Guide extraordinaire) made our safari a truly great experience. The personal attention (from planning and pick up on arrival in Arusha to departure from Zanzibar) was exceptional. The lodging selected was a delight. Kubu Kubu Tented camp is a Serengeti gem, casual and in an extraordinary location (Wildlife up close and personal...giraffes strolling by our balcony, wildebeests and lions along the road, a never ending delight). Other lodging we would highly recommend is Arusha Coffe House, Ngorongoro Kitela Lodge and Fumba Beach Lodge in Zanzibar. The Serena lodges were also excellent but a tad formal for us. Kubu Kubu and Kitela were casual and friendly. Our guide was welcome to join us for dinner...we found those two lodges a welcoming place for ALL.
We chose October to avoid the crowds. Our game viewing was exceptional, even including mini migrations of Wildebeests while at Kubu Kubu.
Renny was a a wonderful host, including a great dinner at a local street barbecue in Arusha. Ricky guided us flawlessly on the first leg of our journey, and he has a true feel for the wildlife in Tanzania. Our trip to Selous was a real treat (Crocodiles and lions galore, and even a giraffe that made a special appearance for our departure). Zanzibar was just plain beach time and relaxation
To sum it up: WE WILL DO THIS AGAIN.

Top notch company all the way!
5/5

I really can't say enough about our amazing experience with Compass Odyssey. We found them by chance searching the internet and were impressed with their reviews. I submitted an inquiry and immediately found out why they were so well reviewed. I'll try and be brief but here is why they are so great: Extremely responsive (so important with this type of business), flexible to your needs, easy to understand, comprehensive, well organized, well informed, and friendly/ easy to work with. Through the whole process we worked with Darren and Kate, not a random operator in a call center or office, so the whole experience felt very personalized.

We were impressed with the well organized, cleanly laid out, thorough, itineraries we were provided with. This alleviated any travel stress and made the journey a real pleasure. We also enjoyed the informative .pdfs we were given for different areas of our trip (Jo'Burg, Vic Falls, Cape Town etc.). I can 110% recommend working with them. In fact, I have family that are considering a trip to South Africa and I am insisting they work with Compass Odyssey! If you're looking for the trip of a lifetime you should too!

Amazing!
5/5

Jesse Thomas was so helpful in arranging our vacation. I travelled with my friend and my 13 year old daughter.

We did a three day safari at Murchinson Falls. We stayed in a Banda at Red Chilli Rest Camp.

Our driver, Sula, was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. We felt very safe with his driving. For the game drives we also had a guide, Sam.

We were 100% happy with all services and would definitly recommend Lifetime Experience Safaris. I will be using them again when ibrerurn next year.

Thank you so much Thomas and Sula!!

Great value for a great trip
5/5

We had a wonderful experience with Home to Africa Tours and Travel. From start to finish, they were quick to respond to our questions/requests, attentive to our needs, and very flexible. We loved that our tour was flexible and we could change some things as we went. Our guides, Nasser and Paul, were very knowledgeable on the wildlife, nature and history of Uganda. We also were very grateful for our guides who provided a safe way to get around Uganda. I always felt comfortable and safe with our guides navigating the less than perfect roads throughout the parks and countryside. They are very experienced in driving all the roads in Uganda. We really loved all the activities that we did and felt like we had an overall good value for the trip. We really appreciated Home to Africa's patience and accommodation to our needs, and would definitely come back and take a tour with them again. Hopefully, we will be back soon!

Trip of a Lifetime - Great Migration and Big 5 Safari in Tanzania!
5/5

My husband and I have been wanting to do an African Safari for a long time. We finally found a time with our work schedules to make it happen in the end of September to beginning of October 2017. Ben was so accommodating of my many, many questions until we had booked the perfect itinerary for us. It included Tanangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Serengeti Central/ North. We had an amazing guide in Joachim, who could spot an animal from miles away so that we could fine the perfect photos of all the animals. This allowed us to see all of the big 5, including a last day sighting of a rhino, and many sightings of lions, elephants, buffalo and leopards. We took the last day before an evening flight out of Arusha to enjoy the CREW animal rescue and a hike to a waterfall on Kilimanjaro. Overall, it was all we had dreamed it would be. Thanks to the team at eTrip and Joachim!!

Trustworthy and well planned.
4/5

We were picked up at the airport by a representative from the company before transferred to our guide.
The drive to Masai Mara took approx. 6 hours. We had a flat tire, and with a short game drive we didn't reach the camp before after 7,5 hours.
This drive could have been skipped as we had already traveled for 20+ hours.
It was dark when we reached the camp so we didn't see much. Received a welcome drink and escorted to our tent for some freshing up before dinner.
All the food was fantastic and the service was second to none. We felt very welcome and taken care of.
Our guide picked us up at 8 am, way later than the other guests, but seeing it was our honeymoon we didn't want to rush.
We saw A LOT of animals! Our guide obviously knew where to drive. It was really impressive to see how they remembered all the roads crossing each other. We had a whole car for our selves, which was great. Except for one time where we forgot the clock and lost track of the direction in the dark, this trip was everything we had imagined and more! The transfer back to Nairobi was well organized and everything went smoothly.
We would recommend using Classic Journeys when booking a safari in Africa.

An unforgettable Amazing trip
5/5

From the begining everything was very well organized. Communication was fast and easy, and everything was on time.
The guide was amazing. He was so nice, good and knowledgeable. He was funny and we enjoyed talking to him and listening to his expereince. The lodges were beautiful and the food was soo tasty. We have been to more than 60 countries and we have never met people nicer, kinder and more polite than people in uganda. We felt safe.
I would highley recommend it. Our tour guides were Patrick and Paul, Thank you very much again for making our trip great and being so awesome.

Unforgettable moments
5/5

A true adventure, an incredible experience with lots of unforgettbale memories. A childhood dream came true when you see the animals roaming on endless prairies. especially when you get near the Big 5 which we managed to spot during the safari... all that within only 4 days with Axis. Lennox was helpful from the very first moment, he patiently replied every question I had. The Safari was very professionally organised.
Our driver Richard seems quite experienced despite his young age. He always did his best to create a good atmosphere in the group and to give us the best possible angle to take photos of the animals. He speaks Russian pretty well too which was a really nice surprise. We - a Vietnamese and a Kenyan talked in Russian with each other which was really something else lol.
My roommate or my tentmate to be exact from Japan was very nice and pleasant too. Overall an unforgettable experience I had there. Thanks Axis and огромное спасибо, Ричард!

Should be on bucket list of everybody who loves the wild, the beauty, the silence. Simply fantastic.
5/5

I dreamt of a canoe tour on zambesi river for a long time and couldn't wait to do it. We did the 3-nights-tour and it was a fantastic experience. So different to everything we have seen in Zimbabwe and other African countries before. The beauty, the silence and the simpleness - nothing more is needed.
Accompanied by our wonderful guides with their inexhaustible knowledge we felt save every single minute. And also the team in the camp did a wonderful job. Everything was prepared once we came into the camp in the evenings. The food was fantastic and different every day.
We loved to take a bucket shower in the evening and we also loved to sit at the river listening to the sounds of the water and the bush. The simpleness was the real luxury.
One advice: take a sarong to cover your legs on the boat to avoid a sunburn. And then: breath in deeply, breath out deeply - and enjoy every single moment.
