Our first safari
Overall rating
5/5

My wife and I had a wonderful time on our first safari. All the staff that we met were more than helpful . We had a chance to see and learn about a lot of interesting things. We will certainly pass our experience on to our friends and family so maybe they can enjoy a trip like we did.

About: Botswana
Worth a visit and a return, but expensive.
Overall rating
5/5

We did two things in Botswana, a self-organized tour to the Tsodillo Hills and the Moremi Game Reserve with a rented 4x4 car and a tour with Kalahari Tours (3d/2n) to the Chobe NP. Both experiences were remarkable.
As Botswana is a wild but safe country, you can organize a tour yourself with care and good preparation. However, even in the low season, many campsites and rental cars were no longer available due to advance reservations. It seems common to do a reservation without turning it into a booking later. In fact, we hardly saw any other self-drivers. If you don't want to book early due to the unpredictable weather situation in the low season, it can be become difficult to get a space and/or a car.
We welcome the policy of reducing the amount of tourists traveling to Botswana by limiting space and rising prices , but it should be possible to explore the countries beauty on ones own.
We hope to come again and visit other parts of this fantastic country.

Unforgettable experience with the best guides in Tanzania
5/5

My group had an amazing time with Mujuni. Micky and Nickson were the absolute best guides. They communicated frequently, went above and beyond, and just had a lot of fun. Our group felt taken care of. After a bad flight delay, they helped pick us up from the airport in the middle of the night and rallied straight into the safari all day. This is a great value and service tour and I recommend all to book!

Seamless safari experience with excellent wildlife viewing
5/5

Our group of four had a fantastic three-day trip with Wild Planet Safaris. Thale was incredibly helpful during the planning process and walked me through different options for how to best use our time in Kruger. She and Chris, our guide, also rolled with some last-minute communication and logistical changes regarding our pickup times and locations. Once we were on the road, Chris and Hopeson, our cook, took care of every detail. They checked us in and out of accommodations at rest camps (all very comfortable), cooked delicious meals, walked through plans for the next day each night at dinner, and set up a night drive and bush walk with KNP rangers. Chris took us on multiple game drives each day, and we had amazing sightings, including a leopard, lions, tons of elephants, giraffes, hippos, baby hyena, and many more. Chris is great at spotting even the smallest and hardest to see animals, like a puff adder on the side of the road. Having been on some earlier game drives (through a different company) with a slightly larger group, it was a lot of fun to travel around with just our small group. We really enjoyed Chris and Hopeson's company throughout the trip - thanks for making it an unforgettable one!

Amazing experience
5/5

An experience I will never forget! A friend referred me to Bora Trekking for my bucket list adventure of summiting Kilimanjaro on my birthday. Frumence and his team at Bora Trekking were absolutely incredible and went above and beyond. Bora had a team of 11 people to support us in our climb, everyone was like a close family working together to make sure we were comfortable and our needs met so we could be successful in the climb. We had three delicious meals a day served to our tent, when we had gear issues they were quick to come to the rescue with a solution. After summiting and returning to base camp, the team threw me a surprise party complete with a custom cake, along with singing and dancing! I can’t thank Bora enough for making this extra special for me and my Nephew! Afterwards back in Moshi Frumence took us out for some day tour activities and dinner, then made sure we both were taken to the airport. I highly recommend Bora should you be considering climbing Kilimanjaro or any other tour activities in the area.

The amazing Team that meet your expectations
5/5

It's an amazing and exciting experience. We spent several happy days in Tanzania with Ozon Light Tours and we saw almost all the big five animals that we expected. We saw many special things like flamingos, rhinoceroses, lion cubs, lion mating, and so on
Appreciate the hard working by our travling guider Issa. He is an excellent and charming man made the trip more interesting who is very professional and responsibility. He is doing well in finding animals and have a lot of knowledge about the behavior of the different animals. He is so nice and invited us to eat the local dishes which were very delicious. We will choose this operator for our next safari.

Madagascar Wikipedia, the dream fulfiller
5/5

Bernard knows everything about anthropology, culture and history of Madagascar. In real life his English is like a native speaker and he is so communicative (by chatting I wasn't so sure about it). As a female solo traveller I was so picky and I contacted so many tour agencies, Bernard was one of the cheapest with so much promising that he could keep the promises like cacao tree at east coast. There is no hidden cost, no matter what happens during your journey he doesn't complain about money to ask for more. He loves his job and it makes you to enjoy your trip. He is so reliable, committed, friendly, flexible, punctual, always laughing and has capacity of sense of humour. His heart is made of gold and without his sunglasses you will see his inner child in his smiling eyes. He was beyond my expectations.

Great people, great communication before arrival, timely responses, tailored to specific needs
5/5

Kevic tours is a top Safari operator. From the beginning when we started our planning, Truffy was amazing with listening to our needs and made great effort to make our holiday memorable. From the first contact Truffy was alway online to answer our questions, help to plan our transfers, and check on us before arrival that we did not forget anything (visa, things for safari, etc.). Our driver & safari guide John was excellent & safe driver, caring person, trying his best to make our short visit to Masai Mara as memorable as possible. We spend together 2 short days, and we left each other as friends :)
