Professional, knowledgeable, you know exactly what you're getting from day #1
5/5

Our 1 week private safari with Tubale Safaris was amazing! While in Uganda for work, we unexpectedly had a free week and Tubale was able to organize and put together a week long safari for us, altering it as needed to meet us where we were in country and to complete all the adventures we wanted. Our tour guide, Shafic, was extremely professional and personable. He knew everyone and everything! We felt safe throughout our time and were continuously pleased with the service and lodgings provided. Tubale went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful trip. We saw EVERYTHING we wanted to see, including the Big 5. Thank you, Tubale and Shafic!

Phil and his team were flexible, knowledgeable, and fun
5/5

Our goals for booking a safari in the Okavango area was to find someone locally-based, with a good track record, and reasonably priced, and Phil's team at Walking Stick was the perfect fit. We did a 4 day/3 night mobile camping safari. Even though our flight was delayed about 12 hours, the team was flexible and let us push our safari one day back at no additional cost. Phil knows Moremi like the back of his hand and we saw everything we dreamed of, and more (he is friendly with other guides and communicated with them to find us lions, leopards, wild dogs, etc). Camp was comfortable and the cooking was great, being mindful of my traveling partner's nut allergy. Our canoe/walking safaris were also amazing. We only wished that we spent more time. Compared to what it seems other operators are charging for a similar experience, Phil's price seems competitive and the service more than worth what we paid.

Wonderful experience!
5/5

Overall just a really great experience!
The organization via Brenda was excellent, she adjusted the tour to our needs and was always just a text away taking care of us.
We were particularly satisfied with the choice of driver/guide who did everything in his power to make this an unforgettable journey for us, going above and beyond by solving every little issue we had during the four days.
Also the little details, like having fresh cooked meals with silverware and a tablecloth instead of the much used lunchboxes made all the difference for us.
We had three overnight stays and 2 of the three accommodations were absolutely wonderful (especially the Matawi tent camp lodge in the Serengeti!).
Going on safari in Tanzania is exhausting, awesome, „bone-rattling“ and astounding - and we wouldnt have missed it for the world. We definitely recommend!

Safari Extraordinaire! Hans is a man who has spent his entire life studying and guiding in Tanzani
5/5

Hans Genda is the best guide you could possibly have in Tanzania. He is the owner, operator of Felicia Travel Tanzania, a small locally owned company. I booked directly with him for what I wanted to be a private, personal tour for myself and my high school buddy of 59 years. He exceeded all our expectations in knowledge and location of animals, birds and fauna! Just tell him where you want to go, what you want to see and when you want to travel. From airport arrival to airport departure, it was the most perfect safari we imagined! The price for our private and custom Safari was comparable to prices offered by luxury tour oprerators for group tours.

We took a 5 day safari with Antonio Safaris. We did 1 day at Amboseli which is a great place to see many of the animals. Day 2 we drove to Lake Navaisha and was able to see the hippos on a boat and walk among giraffe, zebras and more. The next 2 days was in Masai Mara which included a balloon ride which was very interesting to see the landscape and animals. Our final day was a visit to a village which we would not do again. We also saw the beautiful landscape of the Great Rift. This tour gave us the opportunity to see many different aspects of Kenya.

Gorgeous country with unique geology and super friendly people. The lodges/resorts we stayed at were lovely, the food and service-excellent. We flew to each destination within namibia and that not only saved time, but also gave us beautiful views from the planes that we would have otherwise missed.

We went to the Masai Mara for a day and a half, we saw a wide variety of wildlife, including elephant herds, a lion and lionesses, and plenty of giraffes, zebras and other grazers. One of the highlights was being lucky enough to witness a cheetah hunt a gazelle through the grasslands, a truly unique and memorable experience. The weather held up during the day so we were able to enjoy the safari experience through the pop-up roof jeep, although it did rain during the night. We had one day at Lake Nakuru and while we didn't see any flamingoes we saw a lone black rhinoceros in the distance, as well as other grazers and lions. We did not manage to see a white rhino or leopard during our 4 day safari tour. Walking amongst zebras and giraffes on Crescent Island was also an incredible experience.
