Excellent itinerary with knowledgeable guides and good accommodations made for a rewarding safari.
The requested itinerary for an 18 day photographic safari by professional photographers through parks in both Kenya and Tanzania including the Maasai Mara and the Serengeti met most of our expectations and was very rewarding, due in large part to the expertise of the driver/guides Dennis and Hamza. They were excellent in locating game and getting us into position to best photograph the animals after a little coaching on how to position the vehicles. It appeared however, that they were not always adequately informed regarding the details of the trip that had been committed to us. Not everything was as advertised, for example, the first day two planned activities were not included, and a lunch on the last day was missed.
For the most part, the accommodations were as advertised with some camps better than others, however charging electronic devices was difficult in a couple of locations. The food was adequate to good and again the quality and variety varied by camp.
Optional additional activities, such as a photo safari on water at a lake and a visit to a Maasai village were offered and taken, which were very good, but the additional cost should have been advised before embarking on the adventures.
As there were some long and very difficult road transfers between parks, adequate rest and washroom stops were not sufficient on some legs. A six hour transfer with no bathroom break planned for senior citizens is not acceptable.
The largest complaint was the timing and execution of our departure at the Nairobi airport. Instead of departing our last camp at a time that would have allowed the proper travel time, with lunch included as advertised, and gotten us to the airport at a time coinciding with airport checkin, we departed the camp in the morning, did not stop for lunch and arrived at the airport at 3pm with a departure at midnight, and we were dropped without any guidance regarding the airport or facilities for waiting for a checkin at 7pm. We felt abandoned.
Given the few issues, we were satisfied with our trip and experience and would use Wildebeest again with a better understanding and agreement on some of the details mentioned above. We didn't expect anything beyond what we contracted for, but we did expect to receive what we contracted for.

Well-organized
Did a 5 day safari which included Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater - all of which were amazing. Rocky, our guide, was stellar and exceptional at what he does. He's very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna, and always had answers to questions I had. We saw every single animal on my list, which was also very impressive, and a testament to Rocky's skills as a guide.

Excellent experience! Much better than I expected.
Very exciting trip! We made game drive through Tarangire, Mid and West Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Our guide Fadhili is our god of hunting with eagle eyes! He is very senior on finding animals. Think we’re very lucky, found hunting lions, pregnant cheeta, Timon & Pumbaa

Amazing 5 day safari

Perfectly organized, friendly and experienced Safari Tour!
The trip was excellent. Suricata has such a perfect service. We booked the 4 day Safari and it was amazing. Our Guide (Golde) managed to spotted all the animals. (Imagine: we did the Big 5 in just 2 days!!!) Beside that he is such a friendly, communicative guy, willing to make the Safari perfect. Also I want to mention our cook Pius: nowhere in Tansania I had such nice meals.
If you’re looking for a great safari with full satisfaction i’d recommend Suricata.

Amazing Safari with Suricata
The Safari was an excellent experience. We chose Suricata Safari because a friend recommended it and we were not disappointed! Golde was a great guy and he managed to find a lot of animals. We saw almost everything you can find in the Nationalparks. The landscapes were all beautiful and different from the one before. We booked the stay in the tents and they were really good. When we arrived, everything was already set up, so we just had to put our stuff in. The next day, you only need to pack your staff and put it in the car. The rest was done from the staff. The food that our cook Pius made was incredible. It was always more than enough for everyone and it changed everyday. Of course, camping is not for everyone but it made the trip even more exciting for us. Waking up in Serengeti with a view out of the tent is something you will never forget. We will be back!

Excellent all around!
I recently came back from a four-day tent/camping safari with Suricata that included Serengeti NP, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Tarangir NP. I think it will be quite some time before I fully grasp all that I saw and experienced from the awesome wildlife to the incredible landscapes.
A huge part of this once in a lifetime, awesome experience is due to the care and attention received Suricata. From the very beginning, they were responsive to my messages and answered all of my questions so much so that I felt comfortable choosing them out of the many possibilities. They also offered round trip transportation from JRO to Arusha as well as hotel accommodation the night before the safari began.
During the safari, we had clean tents setup for us and absolutely out of this world delicious food prepared for us breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food in particular far exceeded my expectations for the entirety of the safari.
Our guide and driver was the friendliest and most informative throughout the safari doing his best to ensure that we saw as many animals as possible. Of the big five, we saw four (the elusive leopard was just that — elusive). We saw 20+ lions, including some that were just feet away from our truck as well as a cheetah.
All in all, I enthusiastically recommend Suricata. At the moment, I am living in Nairobi, and when my parents come to visit — I will use Suricata again to plan their safari.
