A land of stark inequities and stunning wildlife
We landed in Johannesburg and spent several days there. The highlight of our stay there was a tour of "The Best of Johannesburg". It included Constitution Hill, Mandela's house, an informal community in Soweto, and the Apartheid Museum. Learning about the history of South Africa brought up for me many similarities with the inequities in my own country.
We next traveled to Sabi Sand for a 5 day safari. It was excellent. Our guide and tracker were great. We saw the big five and more, including some amazing birds. We loved the bush walks, and we learned about a lot about the flora of the bush and the smaller animals. While the density of the wildlife cannot rival Botswana or the Serengeti, the variety was there. Also with strict guidelines about a maximum of three vehicles per sighting, there were no crowds. And with the ability to go off-road to track certain animals, we got some amazing sightings and pictures. All six of us thoroughly loved it.

An amazing adventure
An African Safari is a once in a lifetime experience. If traveling from the US, be prepared for very long flights. We booked our own flights & even business class - these are Long flights. Ranger Buck Safaris arranged all the logistics of our trip within Africa. They did an excellent job. We were greeted at each new location, and escorted to our next destination. It would be very difficult to do on your own. The resorts (camps) were beautiful; the camp staff, guides, and trackers all spoke English. September is still the dry season which is perfect for viewing animals; cool mornings & evenings, warm mid day. We have amazing pictures, but you need to be there to get the true feeling of Africa.
Safe travels.

Excellent tour!
We had an excellent tour with Kafu Safari to do gorilla trekking at Bwindi National Park and a Safari at Queen Elizabeth National Park! Deo was very flexible and worked with our budget and last minute changes and additions to the trip. He communicated with us and managed all the time well. We felt safe with him on the long drives and bumpy roads. It was also a pleasure to get to know him and learn more about Ugandan history and culture. We became friends. It was a trip of a lifetime! I highly recommend Kafu Safari!

Wonderful 3 days on the reserve.
We recently had the pleasure of exploring Kenya with Native Afrika Voyages, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish! Our guide and driver, Steven, was truly exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and always attentive to our needs. He made sure that we could see as much of Mara as possible. He was extremely knowledgeable of the reserve and took us to the perfect spot where we were lucky to witness the wildebeest migration! We also saw many other animals and birds throughout our 3 days there including 4 of the big 5 (the rhino was impossible to spot in our trip). Steven made sure the journey was seamless and enjoyable while sharing fascinating insights about the wildlife and local culture.
The tour was well-organized, and we felt completely safe and comfortable throughout. We enjoyed our last evening out on the reserve with a fun sundowner and bit of a drizzle.
I highly recommend Native Afrika Voyages and Steven as your guide, for anyone looking for an unforgettable Kenyan adventure!

Unforgettable and great Kenya Trip
On my first trip to Kenya, our guide Dennis was very helpful. He was very attentive, calm in any situation, and very friendly. The explanations on the safari were also polite and easy to understand, and he answered any questions we had. I would definitely like to use his tour again.

I’d give this safari a BIG 5 stars!
We went on a 4 day safari including Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater and Tarangire parks. Adrian our guide couldn’t have been better. He went above and beyond to ensure we got to see ALL the animals, the big 5 and another 30… we kept a list! He was very knowledgable about the animals and the area, answering any questions we had. An excellent driver despite the African massage.
We stayed at a different accommodation each night, in particular the Serena Mbuzi Mawe Luxury Camp was incredible.
Our trip included visiting the Masai, he ensured we knew everything beforehand and we felt very safe throughout the whole trip.
One of our party was vegetarian and gluten free and this was passed onto all the accommodations and was never an issue.
Very sad for it all to end could do it all again tomorrow! For anyone reading this review, you have to stay at the Serena hotels, and request Adrian as your guide! We wouldn’t do a safari with anyone else.
