We had no idea that a "budget" travel could in fact be so luxurious! We were two people with a full time staff of four -including an incredible guide and chef. We felt safe and secure and well looked after and it is a trip we will never forget. We were so close yet still a safe distance from elephants and rhinos! We had no idea how beautiful it would be -- especially the sun rises and sun sets. We highly recommend the trip!

We truly enjoyed our two week vacation to South Africa. Our trip started in Capetown then to Cape aguhlas Mossel Bay and Knysna on the Garden route we visited Plattenburg bay. We also visited Johannesburg. The crown jewel of our trip was a four day safari in kruger. We loved everything about our trip the people were nice and welcoming.

Fantastic service and experience.
5/5

We stayed at Tremisana Lodge for 3 nights and it was fantastic. The accomodation, food and staff were all very good. We went on 4 safaris and a bush walk and saw 4 of the big 5. Only the elusive leopard was missing. Also saw lots of giraffes, zebras, hippos and crocs. The number of animals was amazing. Thanks to Pattie for her help in organizing our trip.

Unforgettable excellent 8-day customized safari tour in Kenya
5/5

Overall: It was a private tour and Image Travel fulfilled all our requirements in accomendation, while some other providers indicated that the hotel we selected was not available.
Guide: Our guide John Waithiru led us to all the Big 5 and showed us all the animals we wanted to see. Even though I don't know much about photography, we still got many great shots and videos. John is also the best driver I have ever met. The road was so bumpy and he could always manage it. Many times we have seen other vehicles get stuck but John drives through always unimpeded. The journey from the Masai Mara to the Nairobi airport on the last day was 6 hours long, with poor roads and traffic jams, but John managed to help get there early. Even had time to take us to a great shopping mall in Nairobi where we got everything we wanted to buy and then arrived at the airport on time.
Communications: Quick feedback and provide us with hotel booking faster than others.
Reliability: Overall, the trip went very well. Except for some hiccups on the first day when arriving at the airport to pay for the trip, as they would not accept dollars printed before 2006 without notifying us in advance, wasting an hour of our time. As well as some delays in entering some of the national parks because the company did not purchase tickets in advance. We would have been more satisfied if the company had coordinated and planned better for the collection of tickets and cash.

Exceptional Safari Experience at Ngorongoro Crater
5/5

My recent safari at Ngorongoro Crater was nothing short of extraordinary. The breathtaking landscape, combined with the rich diversity of wildlife, made for an unforgettable adventure.

**Scenery and Wildlife:**
The Ngorongoro Crater offers a stunning natural backdrop that feels almost surreal. The vast caldera, lush grasslands, and acacia forests create a perfect setting for wildlife viewing. During the safari, I had the privilege of witnessing a wide array of animals, including elephants, lions, rhinos, zebras, and countless bird species. The abundance and proximity of wildlife were truly remarkable.

**Guides and Staff:**
The guides were exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate about the environment and its inhabitants. Their expertise enhanced the experience, providing fascinating insights into animal behavior, ecology, and the history of the crater. The staff at the lodge were equally impressive, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming stay.

**Lodging and Amenities:**
The accommodation was top-notch, blending luxury with a sense of being close to nature. Comfortable rooms with spectacular views, delicious cuisine, and attentive service made the stay even more enjoyable. The lodge's commitment to sustainability and conservation efforts was also commendable.

**Special Acknowledgment:**
A special thanks to Charlie Richards, the director of Kilimanjaro Vikings, for organizing such a seamless and memorable safari. His dedication to providing an exceptional experience was evident in every detail, from the initial planning stages to the final moments of the trip. His passion for Tanzania's natural beauty and wildlife truly made this adventure stand out.

**Overall Experience:**
The safari at Ngorongoro Crater exceeded all my expectations. It offered an ideal blend of adventure, education, and relaxation. Whether you're a seasoned safari-goer or a first-timer, Ngorongoro Crater is a destination that should not be missed. I highly recommend this safari for anyone looking to experience the beauty and wonder of Africa's wildlife.

Terrific Safari package through several of Tanzania's most wondrous parks
5/5

I forget how I found Meru Slopes, but on more than one occasion I counted my blessings for having done so. Their service was so good I thought it might be a scam. From the moment I sent an initial inquiry to Jerome, who was wonderful in arranging everything throughout the whole process, to the moment I got dropped off the morning after the trip at the bus station, everything was first rate: the airport pickup and hotel in Arusha; the wonderful, knowledgable, and charismatic driver and guide, Stanley; the terrific chef, Buga; and the excellent itineraries we pursued in Serengeti and Ngorongoro. I would (and will) highly recommend Meru Slopes to everyone I know.
