A unique, picturesque country that allows for intense contact with nature and calming relaxation.
In two weeks we drove 4200 kilometers, and on each of them we experienced a great adventure. Kalahari, Fish River Canyon, Skeleton coast, Namib desert delighted with their difference from anything we have seen so far. The last days in Etosha and in the highlands allowed us to experience unique contact with animals, which was a new and revealing experience for us. Lilly from Great Explorations Namibia planned our route perfectly, and each of the hotels, lodges and guesthouses allowed for a unique rest in wonderful places with great service.

The tour was beyond my expectation in every way - each experience offered a different adventure of discovery and learning and enjoyment! Webster established a rapport of comfort, trust and professionalism even before meeting in person the first time.

An awesome itinerary with flawless execution.
Sun Safaris exceeded our expectations. We are from the United States, and found planning a trip to South Africa to be a little challenging. Brett at Sun Safaris made booking our vacation very easy. His suggestions for an itinerary were excellent, the accommodations he picked for us were wonderful, and our guides were knowledgeable and kind. I plan to use Sun Safaris again! Their service and responsiveness is top-notch.

Knowledgeable and highly professional. Very organized.
Three of us senior ladies took the 8-day Victoria Falls, Chobe NP, and Okavango Delta trip, starting in Vic Falls and ending in Maun in June 2024. DK Tours (owned by Webster and headquartered in Vic Falls) is very organized and highly professional. Pickups, dropoffs and daily schedules are timely and reliable. He has been guiding in southern Africa for decades. He produces a very useful informational brochure tailored to the needs/schedule of each client. Botswana is a huge country and much of the tour is on the road and Webster (who was also our guide) is an excellent driver in a fairly new SUV. The lodgings are fine and good value for the price. On our trip the Travel Lodge was substituted for the riverside Chobe Safari Lodge as the latter was undergoing repairs but it was fine. The tents on stilts at Elephant Sands are unique and unforgettable – the elephants charge into the wallow and you can hear their conversations all night. Most meals were buffet-style so food was varied and abundant. Note that if you visit in the African winter it gets down to freezing temps for early-morning activities so dress in layers.
Game drives (and the mokoro trip in the Okavango) are outsourced to local guides in the parks who are keen to show off the local animals, but this is done carefully and without harassing the wildlife. Good guides can sense the mood of wildlife and avoid confronting, for example, elephants or lions having a bad day. Minor changes can be made to the set DK tour – for example, we asked to visit the San people and the salt pan outside Gweta and this request was accommodated for a reasonable added cost. Included in the trip are several river trips on the Zambezi and Chobe rivers that are relaxing and also showcase river game like hippos, buffalo, and crocs and various birds.
To sum up, DK Tours takes excellent care of its clients and provided our group with a most memorable and exciting trip. Outside the tour itinerary in Victoria Falls we took a “walking with lions” tour and a similar one at Wild Horizon Elephant Sanctuary, both of which Webster set up for us. These were wonderful and we would highly recommend you look into them too – how often in life do you get to pet a lion or feed an elephant?

Prompt, Quick response and communication
Susan was very prompt in responding to all our queries and the response was very quick. She was always available for any kind of support. Though we couldn’t make our tour plan still she was very cooperative by providing alternative plans. Thanks Susan for your support hope next time we shall make our plan workable.

Great tour with Francis
Great stay at Kino safari camp in Amboseli.
We had 3 days amboseli tour and we had more than we expected.
Our guide Francis was a really nice guy with great energy and he was really friendly.
The lodge we stayed was very luxurious with helpful and amazing staffs. The food there and the service there was great as well.
During the game drive, our guide answered to all questions we had and did their best so we can have the best views of the wild animals and the great Kilimanjaro.
We payed 700usd each. May Not be the cheapest but I'd say it was worth coming to Kenya.

Paul and Joe from Ways of Africa were serviceminded, reliable and good planners of an excellent tour
My husband and I had a wonderful roundtrip in the national parks of Nakuru, Naivasha and Aberdere with Joe from Ways of Africa. Joe is an experienced driver - both in tracking down game inside the parks, avoiding the biggest holes in the roads between the parks and in keeping us informed of the elements and time plan for the tour itself. Furthermore, Joe is an excellent conversation partner who helped us understand Kenyan culture and history.
The round trip was exactly what we were looking for due to our tight schedule in Kenya. Being close to land animals in Nakuru (and we especially loved the tented camp there), experiencing wildlife from a water perspective in Naivasha (all though the resort vibe of the hotel there turned us a bit off) and last, the amazing water hole theater at the Ark in Aberdere.
Everywhere, we were met by friendly, dedicated, knowledgable and inspirering guides and a breathtaking scenary!
