4 days Masaï Mara Lac Nakuru
5/5

An excellent agency that listens and serves their clients. I had a great experience starting with Marta who took the time to explain everything, to me to build confidence and also to help me with all the steps in Nairobi. Then James the driver is excellent, he has great experience as a safari pilot and his driving was great and not dangerous. From the first game we saw 3 of the 5 big fives and several other animals. It was wonderful. The second full day we saw all the animals. At the housing level the camp was clean and comfortable. Lake Nakuru was great we saw all the animals except the flamingos unfortunately. The hotel was very comfortable and clean. I recommend 200% the agency level quality / price it was perfect

From beginning to end, the arrangements and the trip were outstanding!
5/5

Emily and her colleagues at Extraordinary Journeys arranged our 5 week trip to southern Africa highlighted by two safaris and many other attractions in 4 different countries. Well before we embarked, we worked back and forth with Emily to plan the trip based on our interests combined with her knowledge and experience. We were met every step of the way by friendly, knowledgeable people taking us to each destination. That included getting us across the borders in what might have been a chaotic situation otherwise. The safaris at Little Vumburra Camp in Botswana and Linkwasha Camp in Zimbabwe were outstanding in every detail, from the luxurious “tents”, to the staff, the food, the knowledgeable guides, the scenery, and of course, the animals! We stayed in touch with Emily along the way, as she surprised us at several stops with a small gift or dinner arrangements for our 45th anniversary. Finally, included in the trip were visits to Victoria Falls and four destinations in South Africa. We couldn’t be any happier with the entire trip, and we’ve recommended Emily and Extraordinary Journeys many times.

Excellent service and speedy arrangement on a short notice
5/5

Me and my friend decided to utilize long weekend just a week prior and she suggested to go to Uganda for gorilla trekking.
Quick search online for the best local provider and tour operator and we were convinced with excellent reviews and program that we dreamed off provided by Home to Africa. They haven't disappointed a bit!
Quick professional response with the accurate questions to tailor make our trip up to our expectations. Even last minute change of lodges due to full capacity was the lucky one and the changed location was breath taking.
We asked for knowledgeable and funny tour guide to accompany us these 3 days. Even this request was attended above expectation. Benon is friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and the friendship strike right upon arrival.
Company offered pick up from airport and drop of to our hotel in Entebbe that was in fact out of the agreed tour package. And Benon waited in the hotel till we checked in and he left only when sure that we are safe.
Great job and big thank you to all team, especially Benon, Ywone and Elias.
We will come back!

Excellent organization from start to finish
5/5

My fiance and I did a 3-day trip in Uganda with Gatatu Safaris, which included a one day Gorilla tracking activity and a stay on an idyllic island on Lake Bunyonyi, coupled with a short trip to the Pygmy village. From the onset of the trip (we got picked up from our hotel in Rwanda) to its finish (at Kigali International Airport), everything went very smooth. Richard put together an impeccable itinerary for us and it did not disappoint. Our guide and driver - Steven, was always on time, was very professional and courteous and he spoke very good English. The accommodations picked for us by Richard were very good and both had a great selection of food. All in all, we would definitely recommend Gatatu to anyone thinking of touring Uganda and Rwanda, especially since they provide the best services for the lowest prices.

Outstanding trip and guide
5/5

We traveled to Tanzania in June, and used Earthlife Expeditions for Safari in Tarangire, Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro.

Our guide was Joseph, who was outstanding. He was enthusiastic, knowledgable, friendly, courteous ... everything you could want in a guide. We have traveled a lot, and could not imagine a better guide.

Communication prior to the trip was prompt and professional, no issues at all. As some have mentioned, our safari vehicle showed signs of heavy use, but within the range of what we were expecting. Accommodations were simple but reasonable, and meals were good.

Our experience overall was a solid 5, largely due to Joseph. We had 3 kids (age 18-20) with us, and were extremely happy that their first experience in Africa was so interesting and positive.

As a side note ... Joseph didn't say this or pressure us in any way, but it is clear that tipping is a big part of your guide's income. Make sure you look into the tipping guidelines and bring enough cash.

Amazing experience
5/5

Hi everyone! I and my wife went to Tanzania for a honeymoon and of course we decided to do the most important thing - to conquer the top of Africa. Our friends have recommended us SG Tanzania Tours and Safaris. We discussed our climbing and safari remotely. I think prices are rather high but as a reward we got a better quality compared with competitors. SG Tanzania Tours and Safaris has a new equipment: tents, sleeping bags, even their safari car is new and very cool! During the ascent the team took care of us. Surely they were earning money but they did their work well. It is not so easy to find such good team. It is a chief’s merit! I have some tips for those who are going to conquer Kilimanjaro, firstly, don’t doubt, it is very cool! Secondly, choose only SG Tanzania Tours and Safaris! We do not have any bad emotions or any remarks. Everything was great!

African Savanna Travel is professionality, humanity and dedication. We will repeat.
5/5

All started more than one year ago when I exchanged my first e-mail with Tanja Joubert, from African Savanna Travel. From that moment I knew she should be the one to organize our trip. She understood perfectly what we were looking for.

I had a rough idea about the route we wanted to follow, but it improved a lot with Tanja advise. All the campsites/lodges she chose for us were excellent. Tanja has a great knowledge about the area, so she can advise very well on what one will find once in the place and trace a perfect route.
She is very professional and answers the emails daily. We were also lucky enough to meet her in Johannesburg during the first day of our trip, and she is a lovely person.

Our trip consisted of three weeks in 4x4 with roof tents in Botswana. Tanja took care of all the bookings (car, fees, camps, guide, activities ...) so we didn't have to worry about anything. In addition she was advising us during our entire stay, so when we had any problem/question it was solved quickly and smoothly.
In summary, a wonderful trip. Totally recommended. We have just returned and we are already thinking about repeating. Thank you Tanja!

Trip of a lifetime
5/5

I will like to thank you for taking care of us on our first safari trip. I had an amazing experience. This trip has truly exceeded my expectations. The entire trip was well organized. I will like to mention that Erastus was great. He was very professional, always on time and willing to accommodate us. I was impressed on how well he could spot the animals and how knowledgeable he was about them. He also ensured that we saw the big 5 and went in search for the animals we were more interested in seeing. The hotels were very beautiful and in great locations. The hotel staff was very friendly. The only inconvenience we had during our trip was in the hotel Sopa in amboseli. This hotel didnt have wi-fi and the hot showers were controlled therefore we couldn't shower with hot water as we pleased. (The hotel only provide wi-fi in the lobby but it was out of service during our stay.) Otherwise our stay was great. What I liked most about odyssey safari was the quick response when I had questions and the great customer service it provided. I will recommend this company to all my friends and family. Again, thank you very much odyssey safari.

Excellent quality in budget
5/5

really need to thank Lucy from Mara Triangle for all her help and efforts for making this kenyan safari a successful trip for us.Right from the discussion stage, she has been prompt in her responses even at late evenings without which we couldnt finalise this trip in less than 3 days. Moreover we realised her efficiency when others in our group were promised somethings by their operators but did not get it like water for all days. She even informed the lodge about my dietery requirements. We had some issues with our return flight but lucy was very supportive in helping arrange a hotel for overnite stay as well as provided with a complimentary drop to the airport including a stop for buying souveniers. She would constantly msg and check with us if everything was fine in the safari even after we made the full payment to her which normally people dont bother. If we were to have another hoilday in kenya, will definitely go with mara triangle if they still have lucy working with them.Even the driver Joseph and the safari van driver James(dont know if he is part of mara triangles) were really good. Also we were not given false promises about surely seeing the migration. At the onset itself,we were informed that mostly we may not see it but can try our luck. Thanks lucy for everything. You really helped us have an excellent safari holiday within our budget without effecting quality.
