Gorilla Tracking, Exciting Experience!
5/5

Going on a gorilla tour in Rwanda is a must do while on your safari in Africa. Our trip was perfectly organised by African Jungle Adventures. They quickly responded to my emails, and fully answered all my questions. Our main interest was to see the mountain gorillas in the forest and this was the highlight of the safari. However, you must be physically fit to successfully trek to the gorillas, and advised to hire a porter. Volcanoes National Park management awarded us certificated after the trek.

Outstanding safari experience
5/5

Hamadi Hassani is a local tour operator. He's one of the nicest people we've ever met. From the first till the very last minute of our encounter, Hamadi was always completely honest. For him the sky is the limit if it comes to helping people. We went to four other tour operators (With Hamadi accompanying us!!) for a quotation and the price came not even close to what we paid. We did a 5 day budget safari (Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorogoro) and had an unbelievable experience for a very good price. Our expectations could never been so high... everything was as promised and better.
Words cannot describe how grateful we are. We can only recommend Hamadi to everyone looking for a real African experience and support local business.
FYI Because of low season, Hamadi arranged for us to stay in a b&b for free cause he knew we were on a budget (were looking for couch surfing). Just one of the many things Hamadi did for us.

Just get tour safari with Hamadi, you won't regret it. Guaranteed!!

Great time in Amboseli National Park
5/5

I went with my mother on a 2 days private safari to Amboseli. Our initial request was for a 1 day trip but our friends convinced us to add an extra day since One on One is an amazing Tour company. Our driver James picked us up at 8 AM, we had a briefing at the office and started our safari. We arrived in Amboseli, checked in at Kibo camp and had our lunch. Then we started our afternoon game drive which was awesome. James parked the open sided jeep right in front of the animals. I had perfect shots of lions, cheetah, leopards, giraffe, herds of elephants, awesome view of Mt. Kilimanjaro and much more. It was really an amazing experience. The driver used to co-ordinate the safari with a radio call which was very helpful as it was easy to locate the animals. Truly amazing experience. One on One with Africa is the best company for a private safari holiday.

This is an amazing company. We had an amazing time in both the Tsavo East and Tsavo west National parks. Also our time in Diani was perfect. I highly recommend One on One with Africa private safaris.

7 days classic safari with africancircuitsafaris
5/5

We had a fantastic trip in kenya. The lodges of the 7 days classic safaris are very great. Paul (the manager) was helpfull. We no had problems. Japhit, our private driver, was excellent, he found all the animals. We were a little bit scared to book a safari with an unknow operator. But this a secondary compagny of raylene who had very great reviews. So everything was respected, lodges, program, meals. The only very little disapointement is that the water was never included in the lodges (as writted in program) but is wasn't a big problem. Thanks Paul and Japhit, we hope to come back again...

Trip of a lifetime--well planned and matched for my needs
5/5

I had a conference in Cape Town to attend and wanted to visit Botswana since I already had to endure 20 hours of travel just to get to that part of the world. I also had a specific work commitment on the other end, so I had a very specific time frame in which to fit a visit. Also, I was traveling solo.

I found Gondwana through this site and contacted them, along with other companies. Mark wrote back and we started a dialog via email. Ultimately, it was his attention to detail and great communication that made me choose Gondwana. He advised me against a mobile safari, and after meeting some people during my trip who had done that, he was right that it wasn't for me. What he told me matched exactly what they conveyed. It typically involves a lot of driving and not so comfortable lodging. It does allow you to get deeper into the parks or game reserves, so I might consider it in the future.

Mark planned the trip perfectly and worked with me to fit my budget. I stayed in two lodges (Stanley's Camp operated by Sanctuary Retreats and Bakwena Lodge near Chobe), which have their own guides for game drives, and two guest houses. All four accommodations were terrific and fit my tastes. I wanted to stay in smaller places with more intimate game drive experiences, and that's what I got.

Travel between stops was amazingly smooth thanks to Mark's efforts. The only thing that wasn't 100% perfect was travel from Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, to my lodge near Chobe, Bakwena Lodge. The van to take me to the border was an hour late. My lodge in Victoria Falls (Bayete) was helpful in contacting them and it was straightened out quickly. Also, I emailed Mark, who took the time to contact me back. When I arrived at Bakwena, they put me on the phone with him. The hour delay was more of a problem for the other parties involved in getting me to Bakwena than it was for me, but it was great to know Mark was responsive. One other thing: I managed to leave my camera on the van at the Zimbabwe/Botswana border (partly my fault, partly my driver's), and the driver made an effort to get it back to me right away. This tells me that Gondwana has vetted the companies they book their clients with.

This was my first trip of this kind, and Gondwana ensured it was a special and memorable one. I would absolutely recommend them to my friends and family. Thank you!
