Professional, committed and smooth
Being Tanzania and safari first-timers, traveling with children, one may prefer to book “everything” through a tour operator established back home. Wanting to tailor make our trip, cut costs and maximize the positive local impact of our spendings we instead asked for quotes from three operators via safaribookings, one of them being Benson Safaris Tanzania.
From the very first contact, Benson Safaris have been impressively professional, committed and smooth. When finally in Tanzania we were met by our driver/guide as planned, who in a committed and knowledgeable way was our companion during our amazing safari. Making sure we got to see our personal favorites (everything from the lion king to the ugly five) and even the Great Migration (which isn’t necessarily on one’s doorstep). Keeping us safe and happy from the first hello to the very last goodbye!

Great route ,nice accommodation and friendly guide
1. The whole trip gave me the feeling that it was worth the money. Not only the animals everywhere, but the scenery is also amazing. Even the long car drive did not make us boring. We were very impressed by Ngorongoro and Serengeti.
2. The sales manager Jeremiah often replies quick and friendly. Our Guide Mr. Pius is friendly, enthusiastic, professional and very good at expressing, he could also make good time planning.
3. Accommodation is cozy and comfortable. Arusha Planet Lodge has unique houses and garden. Marera Valley Lodge impressed us by its beauty and nice service. Kon Tiki Serengeti Camp is very worth a try. We saw a very beautiful sunset and got close to wild animals!
4. It was an unforgettable trip and I really recommend it.

Great experience
We did the Tanzania and Kenya Safari with Mara Triangle Safaris. We had two guides, one for each country and both were great.
We saw the big five and learned a lot of new things about animals.
They were both excelent drivers and took care of us all the way.

Amazing times in Masai Mara
We had an amazing time we Evans as our tour guide. Everything during the trip went smoothly. The communication was excellent. The company was able to customize our trip to our likings. Along the way they gave us various options to pick from to make our trip unique and special. A can say enough words about how lucky we were to be paired with Evans as our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and had amazing eye to spot animals. We spent 5 days together on the trip and at the end we felt like close friends. 100% recommend and hope to see them again in the future.

The people at Zambezi Expedition were very friendly and helpful. Arranging our tour with them was a breeze, and their communication was on point. The tour itself was the day trip to Hwange from Victoria Falls, and we couldn’t have asked for better! The guide was knowledgeable, patient and went above and beyond to accommodate the needs of my family. We saw lions, dozens of elephants , giraffes , Zebras, wildebeest and a lot more smaller game. Highly recommend Zambezi Expeditions!

Wonderful experience
This experience has been amazing for me and my girlfriend. Lenard is a lovable person: friendly, kind, honest. He made us feel like at home. He took care of every detail: transfers (where he drove us to Mikumi park and back) accomodations, food, and the safari and Masai experiences.
The Safari was amazing: our guide (Ladis) is the best, super nice, kind and with a wide knowledge of all savannah animals. We loved to hear him explaining us about the animals that we saw.
The Masai experience was absolutely fascinating. We had the chance to see where the tribe lives, and how they cook, make fire, dance etc.
We have done also a trekking on the first day, where we had met the people living in the villages on the mountain: another nice day.
I definitely recommend this tour, great value for money, and wonderful people.
I love Tanzania’s people, they are the friendliest I have ever met!

Ramja Safaris is very responsive & professional and provided excellent service.
My wife and I went on an eight-day safari to Amboseli, Nakuru, Masai Mara and Nairobi National with Ramja Safaris. During the planning stages Steve communicated with us on a regular basis providing any and all information we needed so that we would have the best and safe custom safari experience. We explored a number of options including taking internal flights and it was through his advice we didn’t which was the right thing to do as we experienced the country through the drives. The planning with Steve provided us comfort knowing exactly what we could expect.
Steve and his wife met us at Nairobi airport around midnight and ensured we were on a prearranged car to our hotel. Steve met us again at 7:30am the next morning and introduced us to our driver and guide Sammy. We had a nice 4x4 land cruiser.
Sammy was a walking encyclopedia on everything about safaris and animals. He was friendly, patient and humorous. He has telescopic eyes. He would spot animals at a far distance that we would find tough to spot even with the binoculars we had. Sammy was so keen and eager to show us anything and everything that we had to sometimes slow him down. He wanted to make sure we saw everything on the drives. We felt very safe with Sammy. He kept us entertained with his humour.
All through the 8 days on the safari, Steve kept in contact with us to make sure everything was good.
Because of the heavy rains a couple of months earlier some of the game roads were a bit rough but that didn’t matter as Sammy kept us amused about the ‘dancing with no music’ experience and the free ‘bum massages’ we were experiencing on these roads.
On the day we were leaving Steve and his wife came to the restaurant where we were having lunch before heading back to the airport to personally get feedback on how the trip was and to see us off. Wonderful people.
We were on a month-long trip through Africa, Asia and Europe and this was the best part of our whole trip.
We had a really great experience and it was through Steve’s and Sammy’s personal care and attention that it turned out to be an amazing adventure. They are excellent value for money,

Unforgettable!
Overall experience exceeding my expectations. This was in large part due to Tuma, our driver. He's an experienced and capable driver with over 18 years of experience. From the onset Tuma professionalism & positive attitude contributed to an outstanding safari. More importantly he got the tires service before we started the journey. During our weekly safari there were several vehicles that broke down & some accidents occurred. We notice several vehicles driving very reckless; but not ours. I highly recommend screening the safari drivers to ensure you stay away from inexperienced and young drivers. There were no questions went unanswered. Our driver had a college background degree in Wildlife Management that served us well. We learn so much about the Serengeti and Tuma provided a historical perspective on all areas visited. Personally I like to thank the owners for making this a memorable trip. Keep up the good work and HIGHLY recommend anyone researching Long Way Expeditions, you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
