Breathtaking safari experience with James and team of Wild Portrait Safaris
5/5

I had the opportunity to take an 8-day trip to Kenya with Wild Portraits Safaris, and I must say it was one of the best decisions of my life. The trip was well-organized, comfortable, and full of amazing wildlife encounters. I visited three different national parks: Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Masai Mara, and each one had its own unique charm and beauty.

Amboseli National Park
The first stop of the trip was Amboseli National Park, where I witnessed the majestic sight of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa. The park is home to hundreds of elephants, as well as zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and many other animals. I was lucky enough to see a large herd of elephants crossing the road right in front of our vehicle, and it was a breathtaking moment. The park also has a variety of birds, such as flamingos, pelicans, and storks, that add color and life to the landscape.

Lake Nakuru National Park
The second stop of the trip was Lake Nakuru National Park, which is famous for its pink flamingos that cover the lake's shore. The park also has a rich diversity of wildlife, including rhinos, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and hyenas. I was thrilled to see a rare sighting of a black rhino and white rhinos, which is one of the most endangered animals in the world.

Masai Mara National Reserve
The last stop of the trip was Masai Mara National Reserve, which is the ultimate destination for any wildlife lover. The reserve is part of the Serengeti ecosystem, and hosts the annual migration of millions of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles, who cross the Mara River in search of greener pastures. The reserve is also the best place to see the Big Nine. I was fortunate enough to see all of them, and even witnessed a dramatic chase between a lions and a buffalos. The reserve also has a rich cultural heritage, as it is the home of the Masai people, who are known for their traditional lifestyle and colorful attire.
The best guides and service
None of this would have been possible without the excellent service and guidance of Wild Portraits Safaris. James, organized everything meticulously, from the accommodation, transportation, meals, and activities. He was always attentive, friendly, and professional, and made sure that I had everything I needed. Surat, another guide, was knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate about wildlife. Both of them knew where to find the best sightings, and how to position the vehicle for the best photography. They also shared interesting facts and stories about the animals and the places we visited. I highly recommend Wild Portraits Safaris to anyone who wants to have an unforgettable and thrilling experience in Kenya. They are the best in the business, and they will make your dreams come true.

Nicholas and Esther made sure that our safari went very smoothly. From when they picked us up from the airport to the accommodations, to game drives untill they dropped us to the airport. Our 3 children were very comfortable all through and we saw all the animals.

Thank you and we recommend Wildplus!

My brother planned a surprise 5day Safari with Tubale Safaris and it was fantastic. We visited Murchison Falls and White Water Rafting in Jinja. Everything was so well planned and our guide Jamal was excellent. Highly recommended!

Amazing trip around a breathtaking country
5/5

We have just completed our 8-day private tour around Namibia with People Tours and Safari. The country had always been a bucket list destination for us and thanks to the team's hard work and due care, the trip was an amazing experience that exceeded our expectations.

While we planned the trip fairly last minute, the team still managed to prepare a few iterations of the itinerary for us. Aina was very accommodating and worked closely with us to tailor the itinerary to our tight schedule. She also helped us assess different accommodation and activity options to suit our needs best. Another deciding factor that led us to select People Tours and Safari was their online itinerary, which we consider to be very well presented and easy to follow compared to other providers. While some communications could be improved, in overall we are happy with the team's service.

Eeno was the guide who took us to Namibia's most breathtaking landscapes, including Sossusvlei, Swakopmund, Walvis Bay, Kamanjab, and Etosha. Eeno was very attentive, on time, and patient with us. He drove safely on the whole 1,500km journey and demonstrated good knowledge of the Etosha Park area. We sensed a big heart and great empathy from him to others, especially the less fortunate whom we met along the way. Besides, we had a comfortable airport pick-up with Luke and a great Windhoek city tour with Timo. Timo was particularly charismatic and we really enjoyed speaking with him. We experienced the city from the perspective of a local, which was exactly what we were looking for.

Very professional and friendly
5/5

I had a safari with Gilmag in Arusha, Ngorongoro Crater and Tangarire National Park. It was our first time in the area and Mary and Gilbert made sure we had the best safari experience. Our guide Gilbert seem to know the spots we would easily find the animals we were eager to see and was patient with us during the safari. We also visited several indigenous communities like Hadzabe and Maasai.
