Incredible Experience - BOOK WITH WAKANDA!
We booked a 6 day Luxury Safari with Wakanda after vetting many other safari options, and just got done with our guide, Andrew (more to come about him!). One of the reasons I chose Wakanda was because of the amenities that they offered during the safari, their incredible communication throughout, willingness to accommodate changes/different options, and they have an incredible social media presence which made me feel very confident in understanding what we would be receiving from them. We even added transfers and activities in Zanzibar (not initially realizing they also did excursions there), for the first stop on our trip last minute.
I've been looking forward to this trip all year, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Going into Safari, you can never be guaranteed to see one thing or another, but we were very lucky to have seen some incredible moments along the way. We went to Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Eyasi along with seeing the Hadzabe & Toga Tribes.
All of our accommodations were amazing, beds were comfortable, Wakanda handled all of the bookings, and the meals were all great.
Now on to our guide, Andrew. Wow, I was absolutely blown away by him. He has been a guide for 10 years, and his passion for the animals, and leading safaris radiates through all he does. He is one of the most kind & humble individuals I have ever met, while providing exceptional service & experience. For example, he practically grew up in the Serengeti, and as he stated he "knows it like the back of my hand" - can absolutely attest to that, as he took us to so many incredible places while we were there, with the best part being they were placed without crowds.
Outside of just the experience, he was very inquisitive and conversational, and we wanted to spend more time with him than we did just to talk to him more. He felt like family by the time we had to say goodbye. He claimed his English wasn't great, but I firmly disagree, it was fabulous. We saw many other guides who looked like they didn't want to be on Safari with their guests (from other companies), and that made us extra grateful for Andrew. We will absolutely be back and be requesting Andrew again, and you should too (just not when we come back to visit)! :)
I am going to proudly recommend Wakanda for our friends and family who want to follow in our footsteps and getting to Tanzania for Safari.

Perfectly organized Safari
Our safari in Mikumi National Park was incredible! From the perfectly organized transfer from Dar es Salaam to the friendly, professional team, every detail was handled flawlessly. The safari itself exceeded all expectations—we saw elephants, giraffes, lions, zebras, monkeys, crocodiles, and more! Our guide's knowledge made the experience even richer. Unforgettable memories in Rwanda
We have have enjoyed our Gorilla Trekking experience in Rwanda with Hermosa Life Tours, from the office our contact person was Eric and he did a great job to put together our Itinerary with modifications all the time as requested. When we meet our guide Pacifique, the Joy started from there, he helped to discover the country Chimpanzee trek, Canopy in amazing Nyungwe forest, lake Kivu and we had a chance to meet Gorillas in Person in the Volcanoes National Park, selected lodges were amazing we miss Rwanda, and we will definitely recommend this agency to our Friends. Great experience with Authentic Africa Safaris
Me and my sister got in touch with Authentic Africa Safaris when already in Uganda and Isaac and Amon were very helpful from the very beginning. They support us in organizing Murchison falls and Chimp trek in Kibale. The experience was smooth, and they were able to arrange all the activities exactly as we imagined. Trip of lifetime
My wife and I just did a 6 day safari with tour guide Gabriel through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Tarangire. Gabriel was an exceptional guide, as he was very knowledgeable about the area and was able to explain everything about the area and the animals we saw. The company did an exceptional job with organization down to every detail. All we had to do was show up and they took care of every little thing. This was truly the best trip either of us has taken.

Amazing
Class all the way, with all the small touches to make it memorable like wine and beer each night, knowledge about flora and fauna, and fun adventures like a flat tire pit stop, a pride of lions feasting, cheetahs hunting and elephants bathing, camping under the stars with wildlife at the door step. Top notch food by chef Tito kept us full and fed always, and guide Max's knowledge in finding animals made it a experience not to forget!

Phenomenal operator - the guide was brilliant
My wife and I just finished an eight day safari trip for our honeymoon, and it was the most incredible experience ever.
In the months leading up to the trip, Gift Tembo was in constant communication with us via WhatsApp, answering all our questions and helping us prepare for the itinerary he had put together. He was super responsive and very helpful.
Upon arrival at the airport, our driver Victor was waiting for us. He picked us up, drove us to our hotel, and then even offered to give us a free tour of Arusha on our first day since we had nothing scheduled. He took us to some tourist destinations and then even organized a tour of the local market for us. He was fantastic and such a joy to spend the day with.
And finally, our safari guide Florian was spectacular! Every single morning he was ready for us where ever we were staying. He was warm, knowledgeable, funny, and knew exactly where to find every single animal. He has the entirety of the Serengeti National Park memorized. We got to witness things like a lion dragging a zebra carcass right by our truck, and a leopard cub and its mother walking right next to us. It was a breathtaking experience. More importantly, he was so welcoming and kind. We cannot recommend Florian enough. If you are booking with Meru Slopes, you should request Florian as your guide.
This was one of the greatest trips we have ever gone on and we can't thank the team enough.
