Benson Safari’s provided us a wonderful experience from arrival to departure.
We are delighted that we chose Benson’s Safaris to guide our Tanzania safari experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our safari through Tanangire, Serengeti, Ngorogoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, as well as our cultural experiences with the Maasai, Hadzabe, Datoga, tribes and the Gidangooga blacksmith. We liked the local Mama lunch and agricultural visits in Mto wa Mbu.
Benson was wise and flexible as we fashioned our itinerary. The accommodations he recommended all suited us well and were staffed by friendly and helpful people. We especially enjoyed our stays in the tented camps.
Our driver-guide Paul was fabulous! He knew so much about the animals and skillfully got us to them, often positioning the land cruiser to optimize our camera angle. Paul took great care of us, for examples facilitating our gluten-free eating and helping us get avocado after I injured my knee (as recommended for healing by Tanzanians). He also taught us some Kiswahili, which enriched our connections with the people we met. We enjoyed our conversations with Paul as we journeyed on safari. We also enjoyed conversations with our airport driver Zablon.
Benson Safari’s provided us a wonderful experience from arrival to departure. When you’re planning a trip from 10,000 miles away, it’s important to have local expertise. We wanted to go with a Tanzanian-owned tour operator and we’re happy we chose Benson. We’d go with them again and are already recommending them to our family and friends.

Best family safari.
We are a family of three. We were mesmerized by the sunrise and sundown. We saw the big 5 and more. We were in tents which were really comfortable. The company was Outlook and they did a great job. The food was great, all the guides were really knowledgeable. It was fantastic!

Incredible experience
Our three day safari to Ngalawa camp in Selou was amazing and far exceeded our expectations. The wildlife and scenery were breathtaking and our guide ensured we saw all the animals we wanted to during our full day in the jeep, spending just the right amount of time at each place and telling us interesting facts about the animals, birds, trees and other nature. The accommodation was perfect for us and the food was really good. I cannot fault our safari as it was perfect in every way.

Great Safari in Kenya with Back of Africa Adventure
I would recommend Back of Africa Adventure without any hesitation. Good and fast communication from the first email. For the Safari we used a minivan only for us (2 persons) and the acomodations were ok. The guide Simon was great and help us in any possible way.

Unforgettable great experience
We had a one-week safari. Our guide, Salum, was awesome: a skilled driver who knows a lot about parks, animals and local life. We enjoyed all three parks we have been to: Selous (many animals, amazing landscape, lovely campsite), Ruaha (the most untouched and particularly quite) and Mikumi (with many animals but way more turistic and overcrowded). Accommodation and meals were good though basic. Sometimes we had lunch in unforgettable places inside the parks. Food in the Selous Campsite will stay in our memory forever: the best food we had over three weeks in Tanzania thanks to Amos!
