Couldn’t have asked for better!
We did the 4 day safari at Masaai Mara National Park. Our trip exceeded our expectations by a million percent. Our guide Rueben was the highlight of our experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the animals we saw and answered all of our questions with a passion for the wildlife. He was so kind and made our experience so fun. We feel as though we were incredibly lucky to have been paired with him as our guide. We ended up seeing the big five and more on our drives. We saw more animals than we expected, and would recommend unscripted safaris to anyone and everyone! Thank you so much Rueben and Unscripted safaris for an experience that we’ll never forget!

AMAZING SAFARI AND GUIDE
Booking with Unscripted Safaris was so easy and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience seeing the animals. Lewis was very helpful with the booking. Rueben is a trustworthy and safe guide. He also knew literally everything about the animals, he clearly is very passionate about wildlife and is an expert in his field. We saw every animal we wanted and more. Our trip would not have been the same without Rueben and I feel bad for anyone going to Safari without him.

Wonderful Safari with Kiota!
Kiota Adventures & Safaris was a fantastic company to book our 3 day budget safari tour with! Ben, the tour organizer, was extremely responsive and helpful throughout the booking process, as well as when we arrived in Tanzania before our safari began. Any question we had, he answered promptly and throughly. The day before our safari he and his colleague even came to our guest house to give an in person overview of what to expect on our trip. The tour itself was lovely. We spent time in there Serengeti and Ngorongoro, seeing tons of animals and beautiful scenery. Our driver and chef for the trip were also fantastic, helping us feel comfortable while camping and like we got the most out of our time driving through the parks. Overall, Kiota Adventures is a great option for budget friendly travelers!

The BEST trip ever
Me and my daughter had absolutely amazing experience! Nick made customised trip based on our availability and wishes on what we would like to see and to do.
First night we went to Lake Mburo with the hippos and had BBQ under the stars, next day to Bwindi Forest, over the mountain tracks to Ishasha and last day at Queen Elizabeth National Park game drive.
He's vehicle equipped with the kitchen, outdoor shower and roof tent. So, you have all comfort needed with you in a wild. But there is always an option to stay in the hotel overnight.
Highly recommended guide, with dip knowledge of Uganda (sides, culture, etc.) and just wonderful person that really cares about people.

Great and reliable tour operator
I want to start with how the tour works. In our case a driver from Exec Africa picked us up in a van from our hotel and drove us to the border. He helped us with crossing out of Zimbabwe and into Botswana. He stayed with us until we left with a local Botswana tour drove us in an open air vehicle to Chobe. We then had an included wonderful lunch at a lodge. Then we transferred to a local boat operator. Then back to the vehicle back to the border. And then we were picked up by our original Zimbabwe driver.
The whole experience was wonderful. We saw a lot of animals and leaned a lot. Our Exec Africa was also very proactive about making sure we knew when and who would be picking us up. They also quickly answered any questions I had. I really have no complaints.
Our Zimbabwe driver was Likhwa and our Botswana driver was Cobra. Both were fantastic. I forget our boat operator's name. He was good but perhaps a bit long winded. It was still a wonderful experience.

Bumpy start but great execution
The trip started as planned. I received help straightening out my flight and required documents for 30 dollars a person. The transfer ride was on time but cost 15 dollars coming from a few minutes outside of Nairobi (a rip off). When we arrived at the bus, it was filled completely and somewhat squished but as expected. Before leaving, the tour group notified me that I had an unpaid balance and when going to pay my 75 dollar balance (flight help for two people and a transfer fee), I was told that I owed an additional 50 dollars because they forgot to add a surcharge on the credit card I originally paid with. Arguing over this delayed the start of the trip by about an hour and left everyone frustrated. After leaving, everything was smooth again. The guide was friendly, made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We stopped for self serve lunch at restaurants and were provided food but not drinks. When arriving at the park everyone’s passports were collected and taken out of sight for over ten minutes for check in. That was alarming, but worked out. Our tented cabin was double layered and did surprisingly very well keeping out bugs and rain. The room had a full sized bed and a twin bed, both canopy styled with netting to also keep out bugs. We had a bathroom with a flushing toilet, but the shower nozzle didn’t work. Also coming during a rainy season meant black outs and inconsistent WiFi access. Our things seemed to be left untouched when leaving for the safari run. The guide was enthusiastic and dedicated to finding all the interesting scenes. He made sure to get as close as possible and made sure we had the best angle to see everything and get good pictures. He gave brief synopses on the animals and answered all our questions. He was a fantastic driver and knew his way around the park and how to get through the muddy patches without getting stuck. I would definitely go again but I would pack tons of my own snacks and liquids, and I would pay for everything in cash and refuse any additional services.
