Tanzania - Serengeti & Ngorongoro Travel
5/5

5 of my friends and myself went to Serengeti and Ngorongoro. In Ngorongoro we stayed in Ndutu Camping and at Safari Lodge. Ngorongoro - we stayed in Acacia camping and Serena Lodge. Our experience with Peter Mc Tours & Travels was very enjoyable. He did his best to put us wherever we wanted. Travel was very comfortable. It was season for birthing. We did see the wilder beast baby birthing while running with its group. Amazing. His price quote was very affordable compare to others. We will select Peter for future travels too.

Great safari
5/5

We loved our safari, we saw the big fives and all other small or bigs animals. Besides the animals the Masai Mara is very beautiful.
The Ashnil camp recommended by Beacon Safari is absolutely wonderful, we never thought we could find that in middle of the reserve.
The driver really finds the best place to show us everything, with a total respect of the animals and of the reserve.
What we have really appreciated of Beacon Safari is the flexibility of the driver, we have customized the program following his recommendations and our wishes, and this is very important as it is not possible to anticipate everything. We ended up, on top of the Masai Mara, to visit the lake naivasha and to have a tour in Nairobi.

Unforgettable experience and fantastic trip
5/5

Our family (parents with two teenagers) went on a tour in South Africa. We planned to visit the North East, incl. Johannesburg, Panorama Route, Kruger and Swaziland in the first week and the Cape region in the second week. We had the ambition to experience as much as possible within 13 days. Andrea, our tour organizator, planned a great itinerary to accommodate our wishes; she even arranged for a pleasant surprise that delighted us: she booked us in the African Café in Cape Town for the last evening of our tour; a fantastic way to close our jouney in SA!
We started the tour through Johannesburg/Soweto, Panorama Route, Kruger and Swaziland for 6,5 days. Patrick, our guide, is a very engaged guy who knows a lot about the fauna, flora and the traditions of the region; his passion was contagious. The scenery on the Panorama Route is magnificent -the least I can think of to express the beauty of this region. Kruger was an epic. We were so lucky, because we saw much more beyond the „big five“ thanks to Patricks enquiries and willingness to chase after the rangers‘ tips whenever they spotted „rare“ animals (leopards, lions). It’s also a paradise for bird lovers. Swaziland has a great mountaneous scenary... Even though we weren’t lucky with the weather on our last day in Swaziland and couldn’t carry on with our farm visit as planned, Patrick elaborated a plan B and took us on a Johannesburg exploratory day trip. Patrick knows Johannesburg very well and showed us areas we’d never go to if it weren’t with him. Patrick deviated from the „official“ program to make us learn and see more (Pretoria, Apartheid Museum, a fantastic Swazi choir performance), and nicely cared for our well being throughout our journey. At the end, we felt like he was a member of our family.
Then we flew to Cape Town and started touring the region with Derek: Cape Town and the Garden Route within 6 days. The Garden Route tour was a collection of beautiful sceneries. The Karoo landscape with the passes we drove through were fascinating. Knysna, Mossel bay, Vic bay and Conga Caves are absolute gems. We spent one night in an Ostrich farm in Oudtshoorn and experienced a superb sunset and a great quietness. We visited the wine country; adults tasted wine, kids tasted chocolate! We were in the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point, and the Boulders with the Penguins, and Kirstenbosch. - I could go on and on.
Derek was adventuresome and was willing to deviate from the route to accommodate the different wishes/tastes of the whole family. He took us to climb a light house, walk barefoot on a surfer beach and swim in a tide pool… He even made us chase the ISS station in the starry sky of Knysna! Derek is like the encyclopaedia of the Western Cape! He is amazing.
Overall: what we got exceeded our expectations. We saw much more of South Africa then we could have imagined in just 12 days.
An unforgettable experience and a fantastic trip that we’ll actively recommend to our friends.

Super!
5/5

We booked our 4-days safari three month before via e-mail. Emma was very helpful and answered to all our questions. We visited Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. It was great, like a movie! We saw thousands of animals and big 5 of course!
Everything was well organized (transfers, program, accommodations).
Our driver and guide Fredy was friendly and cheerful all the time. We enjoyed her companionship.
Accommodations was comfortable especially Tortilis tented camp and decent meals.
We are very happy for this experience.
This is memory forever!
I recommend it to my friends.

Gorilla link tours was incredibly accommodating and supportive in organizing a customized trip.
5/5

Gorilla link tours staff was very helpful throughout the entire process. Not only did they customize a trip itinerary to our exact needs but they very quickly responded to every question I had (and I had many questions throughout). The tour itself was well organized and made every thing very easy. Our hotels were beautiful, staff kind and attentive and our guide made sure everything went smoothly throughout the trip. I highly recommend gorilla link tours

Believe what you read in the reviews
5/5

What all the reviewers have said matches our experience exactly. Knowledgeable and committed driver/guide. Clear and responsive communications throughout. And "above and beyond" when issues arose (missed flight connection, delayed luggage, communication from home). Every aspect of planning and execution was superlative, and built around our interests and budget.
Recommend without reservation

Phenomenal
5/5

This was my first time traveling to Africa. I did a lot of research on safari's and places to visit. I wrote to Okoa Africa Tours several times and they always promptly responded and made the process awesome. We went on a 4 day safari tour and it was just as amazing and it sounded online. Our driver/guide Horace was the best! He was very kind and drove us around everywhere. We had the best views and pictures from his expert driving and knowledge on wildlife. This trip changed my life!! We started in Lake Manyara, to Serengeti, and ended in Ngorongoro Crater. To see the great wilderbeest migration is phenomenal. Great appreciation, 5 star rating, and high recommendations for Horace our awesome guide. Mahalo, Chris & Chris from Hawaii.

They Treated us like Family !!! Trust their years of experience!
5/5

VIP experience All the way! Stop your search for a company you can trust and get the best value for your money. This is it! From the first time we called to the final goodbye we felt like Earthlife Expeditions wanted our experience to be everything we had hoped for and More!!! Deo was the first person we called who asked us what we wanted out of our vacation and gave us options of accommodations to fit our budget. He knew where the animals were at the time of year we were going, and put us in all the right places. I can't imagine trusting anyone else to plan my vacation.
There was always someone to greet us every step of the way! At airports, hotels, excursions, we truly felt like super stars!! It was the trip of a lifetime! Special thanks to Angelina too!
Moustapha was our driver, Ask for him!!! He has over 20 years of experience driving though the Serengeti and the experience pays off! He could spot things miles away. He knew how to approach animals in the truck so they wouldn't feel threatened. And when it rained he knew how NOT to get stuck. We even had to help others out of the mud. He made us feel so safe and secure out in the middle of "no where" He was amazing. His knowledge of the animals, birds and foliage is something that only comes with his many years of experience! We leaned so much and forever grateful to him for making our vacation as wonderful as possible.
On a side note; before, were hesitant to do the Maasai village and Mtowambu town tours. We thought that they would be too touristy and hard sell trinket places. They do have things to buy in those places BUT... the memories of walking through the rice fields and drinking home made banana beer or sitting with a Maasai warrior in his stick and mud hut home and discussing children...Priceless!!! ...Go!

Our lodging was great,(10 Day Safari) the safari truck was nice and filled with refrigerated water! The itinerary gave us different terrain and different looks of Tanzania every day. It was so great I want every one I know to call Deo and Catherine to book a trip with them!!! I even want my 84 year old mom and her best friend go! The only regret is that we didn't do it sooner! It would be a perfect family vacation. Forever Grateful!
