This operator made a lifetime trip into Tanzania an unforgetable adventure.
We booked with Ecological Wilderness Adventure and have not been disappointed in any way. The accommodations were great and well cared for. The food was always good with only a couple of minor let downs in the box lunches we ate during the day while on the road. But I will trade a fancy meal for more wildlife time any day. They took care of all our needs and made good for any slight errors that were made.
I would recommend this tour operator to my own mother! That is how good they are. Our guide provided us with excellent opportunities to witness all the Big 5 as well as many more joyful encounters with all the new birds, mammals and reptiles that I have never seen in the wild before. Or in some cases never seen before anywhere including in all the nature documentaries that I have watched in the last 5 decades.

Close Encounters with Gorillas
We had booked a 5 day tour with Gorilla Trek to see Chimpanzees in Uganda and Gorillas in Rwanda. First off was meeting our Guide, Moses in Kigali. he drove us into Uganda to Kabale Forest where we stayed at Primate Lodge. Next day we were with a Ugandan ranger, who guided us to the chimpanzees which were at that time climbing high into the canopy. Later in the day, they came down where we were able to follow them to a new site. Their calls are loud and spine-tingling. We had good views of them and returned to the lodge to find another chimp grazing right there. Next day was a drive into Rwanda to le Bamboo lodge. Bright and early we were trekking up a volcano (10,000 feet), taking us over 3 hours of walking up the mountain, where we found the Gorilla family of Mufunza, an enormous silverback. We spent time with them, while they grazed, babies played, and they just relaxed at times just 5 feet away. Mufunza did 2 bluff charges to assert his dominance, which were breathtaking. A great experience. Final day, we did a morning hike to see Golden Monkeys, which we found on the forest floor eating bamboo shoots. Cute monkeys, and a nice short day after the big Gorilla experience (though you wish you could go again). Finally, it was back to Kigali to fly out again. Well run tour by a respected and solid company. Recommend Gorilla Trek Africa to others who consider seeing Mountain Gorillas.

Tanzanian delights
OUR trip exceeded all our expectations.
All arrangements were faultless, the people delightful and we had a trip of a lifetime. If money were no object, I would return very soon!

Great Safari Experience
We booked a longer safari (8 days) through Good earth, and their representative Baraka was very helpful in setting up custom portions of our trip. They looked after us from the time we landed in JRO at 3 AM, maybe too well as with the excellent food on safari we were putting on weight, and looking to pitch in to get active! We did the comfy camping, in which we slept on cots in a canvas dome tent. Very comfortable, and it was great to be out where animals could travel by as you slept. Gerald, our guide, had an uncanny ability to know where to find game and spot it, and maintains high standards of conduct with respect to wildlife. He is friendly and knowledgeable, an excellent guide. We had our own cook / porter, Yusuf, who was a master at putting together delicious and nutritious meals. We saw the big 5, as well as cheetah, hippo, and crocs, wildebeest and zebras migrating and fording rivers, a lion kill right in front of us, and an epic lions vs hyenas confrontation over a kill. A lifetime of experiences in just over a week.

My lifetime experience thanks to Bison Safaris
The communication between myself and Bison Safaris was very smooth via Whatsapp. Maggie was very kind and she answered all my various questions about the tour. She was indeed very helpful.
The safari tour itself was just amazing. The guide gave thorough explanation about the animals, answered our questions in details and was keen to show us around to various spots with diverse types of animals. It was just slightly disappointing that we were kind of rushed on the 2nd day in the evening that we couldn't fully enjoy the view of the hippos and crocodiles and the Serengeti NR on the opposite side at the Mara River. But other than that I really enjoyed the safari tour.
About the service, the accomadation was better than expected and the food presented over the 3 days was all so good. But, it was a pity that they didn't provide us with enough water. Apparently one person is acquired with only one small bottle of water per day, which is impossible to depend on for a whole day! With a bit of a discussion our team managed to recieve more bottles of water every day but the primary rule was just unbelievable.
Over all, I very much enjoyed the 3day safari tour by Bison Safaris.

Unforgettable experience, 100% recommended
The safari with Chacha Tours was one of the best experiences of my life. They knew how to introduce us into the wild nature so well, that in lots of moments we actually believed we were in a National Geography documentary film. Amazing sensations, I would repeat without a doubt.

Awesome Safari. Very attentive owner!
The best part about this trip is the amount of attention to detail that the owner himself put into our trip. He came and met us the day of our safari and welcomed us to the country, and introduced us to our guide, Peter.
The second best part was our guide Peter. Peter is a walking talking driving telescope. He would point out animals in far distances that I don't even know how a human being can see, but because of his attention we spotted all the big 6 animals including Rhino - which is very rare.
Awesome company. Highly recommended. Well priced.

Everyone should experience this journey
In our Kenya safari trip, Beacon Safaris was our agency. All services that we had were excellent. Our game drive operator was Kenneth. He is a professional, decent and informative tour operator. Everything was well organised especially in Masai Mara. I strongly recommend beacon to everybody who are seeking for a well planned safari tour.

Farouk best guide ever-perfect Safari!
From the first day to the last Farouk gave perfect service and made this an unfogettable trip to one of the best kept secrets in tourism: Uganda. Farouk explained everything, we always had interesting discussions during long drives going on, he was a friend from the beginning. We saw lions and hyaenas in Murchison Falls NP, chimpanzees in Kibale, a pregnant lioness climbing up a tree in Queen Elizabeth NP. A once in a lifetime experience was tracking the mountain gorillas. All lodges offered very good and personal service. We not only got an insight into the wildlife but somewhat into everyday life and culture of Uganda as well. We had a typical local meal at Tinka´ s home stay and Farouk showed and offered all sorts of local "fast food". Our favorite was banana chips! Many thanks to Farouk and all the team for a fantastic time!

Ker and Downey Africa exceeded our expectations by sending us to the best camps and lodges in SA.
Ker and Downey Africa organised a stunning trip for my family in South Africa. The lodges and camps we visited were on point with our needs. The hospitality at Tsala Tree Top Lodge and Gorah Elephant park actually blew our minds. The spectacular romantic and private settings make them fit for a perfect hideaway for couples or anyone that needs to feed the soul.
We were treated like royalty on arrival and throughout out stay. The staff were geniune, friendly and attentive without being intrusive.
Staying at the level of the treetops at Tsala created a feeling of mystery and remoteness. Dinner at Tsala was intimate and the food was excellent. Attention to detail was noticable at all times. I especially loved the handwritten notes at bedtime and the sweet treat.
Gorah did not fail to impress us even after our fantastic experience at Tsala. One again, the attention to detail, the excellent food and service at dinner were admirable.
The game drives at Gorah were unforgettable - we were provided hot water bottles, ponchos and blankets for the early morning drives. To be so close to the majestic elephants, magnificent lions, herds of buffaloes, zebras, warthogs and other species was an impeccable experience.
The roar of lions at night added a very rare and special dimension to this luxurious experience in the wild. As we left Gorah we were entertained by a group of mischievous monkeys playing on the roof of the lodge that left us smiling although we regret having to leave.
Thank you Ker and Downey Africa for choosing this amazing itenary for us, for the excellent communication and faultless organizing.
I will happily recommend anyone looking for an experience of a lifetime to make use of your expertise.
