My 4-day Maasai Mara/Nakuru safari with Dickson was phenomenal! I was traveling by myself and was a little bit nervous initially, but Dickson made me feel right at home! It was fun being “copilot” for our group’s journey! We got to see the big 5 along with the difficult to spot cheetah, leopard, and black rhino! Dickson always masterfully maneuvered the crowds of vehicles to ensure that we all had a good view of the animals, and he was very knowledgeable in answering all of my questions! When I accidentally left my sunglasses at the accommodations in the Mara, Dickson arranged for them to be brought back to the office in Nairobi without me even having to ask. The Jocky staff are also all helpful and accommodating! My safari experience wouldn’t have been the same without my amazing guide Dickson. If you have the chance to go on safari with him I 100% recommend it! You’ll be in for a fun and amazing experience!

Johnny Jackson is a very experienced driver and tour guide who is gifted to smell where animals are. We met almost all the big 7 and the amazing beautiful sunset. Masai is a place that make memories. The bed is comfortable, work staff are friendly. You can sit by the bonfire and see stars and moon clearly at night. The truck has quality wifi during the safari, no need to worry about the internet connection. The time arrangement is reasonable. Additionally ,John can speak English very well and a little Chinese. I would recommend him as your tour guide especially if you are from China. All in all , it’s an unforgettable experience.

Exceptional Safari Experience with Beach & Safari: A Memorable Adventure from Start to Finish
The organization by Beach & Safari on-site was fantastic! Timings, pickups, and other details were always clearly communicated, keeping us well-informed about the next day's plans. The local crews were incredibly service-oriented—simply outstanding! They always found solutions and even provided breakfast if our morning hike at Lake Natron took longer than expected. The drivers were punctual, handing us over to local guides for excursions and picking us up as planned. We always felt well taken care of.
We were delighted by the warm welcome at Zanzibar airport from Beach & Safari, who informed us we could stay in touch via WhatsApp. At the hotel, our guide promptly reached out, offering excursion suggestions, sending reminders for our pickups, and providing excellent support.
1) Arusha Lodge Beautiful lodge with a very friendly team—Gertrud does an excellent job organizing everything locally! The crew's service and the food were both exceptional.
2) Lake Natron Stunning lodge with unique service and excellent food! Giraffes walked just 200 meters from the lodge. Sunrise hike with the Maasai along the lake with zebras and giraffes was breathtaking.
3) Lake Manyara If not for the flooding (as shown in the videos I sent), it would have been simply idyllic! Unfortunately, we could only use the restaurant and about a quarter of the tents. Glamping was a highlight, despite only having hippos outside the tent as other animals don't like to swim😊. The lodge itself, when not flooded, is beautiful with excellent service and food.
Safaris We visited Tarangire National Park, where we saw many animals—truly beautiful and fascinating! The Ngorongoro Crater safari was also unique; we saw all the Big Five except the leopard. Our driver, Shana, was excellent and provided a great experience. It was a wonderful adventure for us!

The service was excellent. All the guides were very experienced, they knew everything you asked them. Food and drinks were amazing, very well organized. I am amazed on all the logistics behind the accomodation arrangements and the fresh food provided to a group of at least 5 people, all with different ittineraries and plans. Its was perfectly managed, with the best results which made it possible to get to know all the amazing places north Tanzania has to offer. Eventhough our initial schedule was changed, it was for the best for us to reach our flight back without any inconviniences.

Opting for leisure escape safaris was the best choice I could've made. Extremely reliable, professional, very attentive to every detail, and also very flexible. Esther made our booking process so easy, always available to clarify any doubts, extremely prompt to respond to all emails, and always very kind. John, who took care of the transfers to/from the airport, was great. Punctual, professional, and very helpful and kind, he provided us with a lot of useful information about Nairobi.
Duncan, our tour guide, was absolutely brilliant. He's a very good driver, extremely professional all around. He's obviously very experienced, and has a great eye to spot even the most well hidden animals from far away. He also has great instincts, knows exactly were to go, when to be patient and when to move on. His knowledge about the different existing animals is mind blowing. It's clear he enjoys what he does, and his enjoyment is infectious. On top of it all, he's also a great person, always a pleasure to be around. Honestly, for us it could not have gone any better, every aspect of the trip was absolutely perfect, and I will definitely be using Leisure Escape Safaris again in the future.
